We have used this service multiple times at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California and it has been great. So convenient to show up and have the trailer set up and ready to go and have all of your basics you would need available and then they just come and pick it up and drive it away and you don't have to worry about dumping the waste or anything. Talk about horrible quality and horrible customer service. Went with out AC for a day, took two phone calls for someone to finally come out to realize the beaker tripped. Broken drawers and cabinets, stairs not sturdy at all, blinds broken, wall coming apart, and mattress torn/ripped up. For $428 for two nights you'd hope for at least mattresses in tact but apparently that's too much to ask for. read more

Stay away from this company.. i made reservations to have a 27ft trailer delivered in glamis for the Thanksgiving week.. what they delivered appeared to be a trailer they got from a junkyard...nothing work electrical, and no running water.. i called the company on Wednesday since they were closed on Thursday to complaint and no one responded.. i called again on Friday and after several attempts i finally received a text that they were going to replace the trailer on Friday. So we waited for the delivery all day so i followed up after 5pm to receive another text that they couldn't locate their delivery staff.. so the trailer was never delivered.i have to make other arrangements and stayed at Best western hotel in Brawley at my expense..since they refused to reimburse me for my hotel expenses..Stay away from this company.. read more

We rented a travel trailer from luv 2 camp from mar 31 to April 2 and it was great. What a great company with extremely fast delivery. The guys we had for delivery and pickup were extremely professional. Rented for Ocotillo Wells 1. Got a phone call 2 hours before close on a Friday that our trailer would not be able to be delivered to our location 4 days before the trip. 2. Had to tow it into our location ourselves and set it up ourselves. Was not offered a discount for towing it in ourselves, despite the whole reason using the company for the delivery option. 3. We were told we were not able to use the AC, so we ordered the generator to power fans. The generator was not delivered with the trailer and it took him two full days to bring it out. That is two full days we had babies in a trailer in 90 degree weather with no fans. Again, offered no discounts, explanation or even a care. 4. Terrible customer service. Constantly got talked over during phone conversations. It was very clear that this company does not value their customers and their experience. Will not be using again and not recommending to anyone. read more

Only giving one star because the customer service was okay for that weekend. Actually writing the review the night upon returning home I was so upset with the quality of the rental. They checked on our propane and battery twice during the 4 day stay which I wasn't expecting... We rented a 25' trailer and first off we could already tell it wasn't leveled out properly. Leaned too far on the left but nothing we could do as it was already set up waiting for us. The drawers in the kitchen were broken and were hanging off the entire stay. No awning during the rain we received Friday so we were stuck inside the trailer all day. There are two bunk beds that are right next to the bathroom that feel like you're in a catacomb and rather claustrophobic, no thank you. We tried to play music through the speakers in the trailer but has previously been broken due to neglect from other campers blasting their music. The bed in the back which was a full bed I believe was miserably uncomfortable. I opted sleeping on the couch the last night it was that bad. Not to mention I woke up the first night itching like crazy only to think the mattress had bugs. The one side of the mattress was so sunk in it made this awful and loud noise that you could hear through the entire campsite. Any movement was loud and uncomfortable... I'm truly shocked they do not have staff check the inventory of their campers upon returning back to the lot. I could not tell if there was a negative spirit within the camper around 2:30am every morning or if it was the fact everyone woke up when someone was trying to use the bathroom at that time from the bed and walking across the squeaky and noisy floors. I mentioned to the first guy who came to check on the place that the mattress and bed was broken and was insanely uncomfortable to sleep in. He said he would talk to his manager and the next day the manager came to check on the status and said that the only other mattress he had was wet and soaked from the rain and that I probably didn't want that one.... Uhhhh yeah?! Please tell me you're not going to throw the mildew covered mattress to anther poor family... Wtfffff Case in point, insanely disappointed with the quality of the trailer for 600 bucks for 4 days. With that kind of money you think they'd keep up with damaged stuff in their trailers... Beware of camper 207... Abort abort abort!!!!! Shame on the company read more

Rented and made final arrangements over the phone & email. The trailer was setup in the area we requested & keys hidden. Arrived about 2am with everything ready to go, just moved our food inside and went to bed. Did some minor cleaning before departure and they did all the rest. First the good things---the trailer was clean, if a little worn, and set up for us when we got there. Now the reasons why I will be submitting a Yelp review to warn others. 1. Only one person could sleep on the queen bed due to the springs being so close to the surface. 2. The shelf in the refrigerator was broken and would not stay straight. Also, one of the shelves in the door would release if you weren't very careful when opening. 3. Couldn't open the windows. One had a screen, but wouldn't open. Another didn't have a screen. 4. There was no awning. To rub salt on the wound, I found from talking to other people who had rented from other companies that I paid around $100 more than they did and they had larger and better trailers. read more

Just rented in Glamis, First time ever renting a trailer, Loved it, considering we always "tent" it. The staff all around was very professional and helpful. We waited about maybe only 20 minutes before they dropped off the trailer. Just like the ad says.. they checked on us everyday we were out there to make sure things were up and running properly. We did have a couple minor issues, the heater went out, but the guys fixed it the next day, and the shower head wasn't working.. but we were still able to use the bath... again considering us usually ruffing it... This was heaven. Oh and their prices are what they say they are... NO extra costs.. Loved it... Will definitely rent from them again. OH and another note..the guy was even nice enough to bring us some of his x-mas trees that he had for firewood... super nice... :) read more

First time renter through Luv2Camp at Pismo Beach. Very disappointing experience. The office staff was great when making my reservations, but the actual trailer itself was dirty and much less than advertised on their website. Here are some examples of the problems with this trailer rental: 1. Refrigerator - shelves needed to be wiped out before we put our food away. 2. Shelf behind the couch was filthy. Not just a little dusty, but filthy. I wiped my fingers through the dirt and took a picture of it....then I cleaned it off. 3. Microwave - worked intermittently. I used it to heat one bag of popcorn and when I tried to use it for a second bag, it wouldn't turn on. I had to wait for it to cool down (or whatever) before it would reset and start working again. This happened each time I used the microwave for more than 2 or 3 minutes....had to wait for it to cool down/reset 4. Silverware - Website advertised min service for 6. This unit came with 3 forks in the drawer so I went to the campground store and bought plastic forks 5. Cooking utensils - almost every utensil was dirty and had to be cleaned before I could use it 6. Bedroom Blinds - No way to close the blinds on the far side of the bedroom--the wand used to turn the blinds was missing and the only way to ensure privacy was to hang up a beach towel so that no one could see into the room. Other blinds throughout the unit were kind of trashed/bent up. 7. When we arrived, the trailer was in place at the campsite, but the Luv2Camp staff didn't leave a key for us to lock the unit when we were away. I called the office the next day and they brought a key, but there should have been one left when it was delivered. 8. No mirror anywhere throughout the unit, which made it difficult to take contacts in/out of eyes. 9. No wine opener--website advertised a wine opener so I didn't bring one from home.....but I brought wine so I had to purchase a wine opener at the store. 10. Dishes - website advertises a set of 6 dishes....only four plates so I bought paper plates at the store. 11. Hot water heater -- we kept having to turn the hot water heater button off and then back on to reset it so that the furnace would start up and heat the water. 12. Refilling propane tanks - When we asked the Pismo Coast Village staff to fill our propane tanks before we left, the staff member was very concerned about the age and corrosion/rust on the tanks. She said that these tanks definitely needed to be replaced and were not safe. This experience was all very upsetting because we rented the unit for $190 per night and should have been provided with something more clean and outfitted as advertised on their website. When I contacted the Luv2Camp staff regarding my concerns her comment was that these units go out on the beach which is why they get so dirty, but that's not my problem....they should thoroughly clean the units before renting to the next customer. I would highly recommend Pismo Coast Village RV Resort to anyone who is looking for a high quality RV place to camp. However, i WOULD NOT recommend renting from Luv2Camp unless you just don't care how clean your unit is. An Unhappy Camper read more

We were 100 yeads from one of these rentals at South Carlsbad State Beach, and wecould hearthe noise plainly. It is unconcionable that a company could be so indifferent to their fellow campers. These RVs are amazing! Cozy, Clean and completely state of the art. The owners and operators literally have heart of gold. I can not express how grateful I am for their compassion. My family has been evacuated and our home is in extreme danger from the Thomas Fire in Santa Barbara and they generously donated their campers to the victims of this disaster. After checking in and finally feeling safe the owner came the very next day to check on us and make sure everything was working properly and we had everything we need. I was at Oceano Dunes in Pismo Beach this passed weekend. I have to say the customer service was great. I added an extra day last minute and was unable to reserve a spot the day before through ReserveAmerica. I spoke with Lori at luv2camp who came through for me and was very nice. I give it three stars because for $600 I expected a better trailer. I had a better trailer in Glamis a few months back with another company for less money. The problem I had was with the dining table and master bed. The dining table was loose and slanted. It was hard for the four of us to eat comfortably. The main issue was the master bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life. It was a spring bed that was sunken in at the middle. It would also creak loudly with every movement. I woke up hurting every morning. For the money they are making because they are the only company you can use at Pismo they can afford to change mattresses out every few months. Maybe I just got an unlucky trailer, but that was my experience. read more

1:30 AM 7/19/15. camping at Morro Bay State Park, 1st time in a trailer courtesy of LUV2CAMP. Thunder storms and HEAVY rain. Tents a distant memory from previous years. Feeling like geniuses (my wife and I) for making the switch from tent to trailer. Wanting to commiserate with those in tents being soaked by the unexpected deluge, but I can't evoke those emotions, being dry and comfy in our LUV2CAMP trailer. My wife called on a whim and was surprised at the reasonable prices. Being unfamiliar with the experience, Paul and associates assured us that everything would be okay when we arrived at the campsite. We booked a trailer. As promised, upon arrival, Paul arrived with the trailer and he explained everything to us and answered any questions that we had. We had the oldest trailer in the fleet (start up trailer) and it was in very good condition and very clean and everything functioned. It was stocked as described on the website. As indicated, all you need to bring is your bed linen, towels, toiletries and of course food. Everything else you need is there to enjoy the creature comforts of home. Paul was extremely accommodating in every aspect. We are indeed booking again. We are permanent fans.We had an awesome experience! read more
