From the moment I met with Dr Doumit at my consultation he put me at ease and thoroughly explained what my surgery would entail. I had upper and lower blepharoplasty as well as a neck lift about 10 weeks ago and I am extremely happy with the results!! Dr Doumit and his entire staff were compassionate, kind and very helpful throughout the process. On the day of my surgery they alleviated my anxiety and made me feel very comfortable. I knew I was in great hands. Dr Doumit is one of the most talented plastic surgeons in the world and also one of the kindest, most humble people I have ever met. It's a small shop with all kinds of cute, affordable beauty regimens in appealing packaging. Although it's called The Face Shop, they do have a limited selection of products for the rest of your body such as shampoo, body wash, lotions, hand creams, nail polish etc - they even have men's stuff. I'm very happy that they sell facial foam cleansers, unlike regular face washes, these produce a thick lather that traps away dirt and oil and leave you feeling squeeky clean. They were developed for hot humid Asian climates and I always had a hard time finding them in this part of the world until now. I've been using their "Herb Day Cleasing Foam" in Acerola (cherry) scent for over a week now, I love the fragrance and texture although it'll probably be a little too drying if you don't wear moisturizer in winter months. At 5$ for a big 170ml tube, this is a steal! For such a small store, I felt like they were overstaffed the day I went - I was approached 4 times in the span of 5 minutes, it can be a little overbearing when you just want to browse on your own. Note- they are working on their North American website that will allow online orders, it's supposed to launch this month.

So I can shop online at SkinStore.com and only pay 5$ shipping from the USA for an entire order. Apart from that, Sephora did have a great selection of brands, not all girly, if you know what you are looking for. Staff were very helpful and love to to direct you to the $150 creams (sorry couldn't resist). I would recommend researching the brands first though, many may just be in there because they have compliant packaging rather than really being the best brands you can buy. Many were missing in the store from the Sephora website. The prices seemed inline with elsewhere i.e. Dr. Hauschka prices were the same as Olgivy's, but again, I would compare as some products may have a premium attached to the price simply because you can't readily get access to that brand elsewhere in Montreal.
