Avoid this store! I like Dr. Kiehl's products and have been using them for many years. But this store is the most unpleasant one, I have encountered. Although I live in Montreal, I try to buy when I am travel. I've been to many Dr. Kiehl's stores in New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, Berlin and elsewhere. Everywhere they of course try to sell their stuff, but they are nice and don't guilt trip you and they provide you with samples to try new products first before committing to buy it. Not here. What you get here is usually shampoo, because its the cheapest they can give you. Just a very recent example: I bought 100$ bottle of a cream I've used for a couple of years and was told by the sale person--with considerable urgency that I must use the eye cream of the same line. The sales person explained why it was SO important at my age etc. and started to have me convinced. When I asked for a sample to try it, she refused: "No, its the end of our fiscal year." Not sure what this is supposed to explain other than they are too cheap to give out a sample. Instead, I got shampoo--again. So my advise would be go to another store and avoid this one. I certain will. read more
