Hi I came into the…read moreshop for the second time to make a purchase and inquire about a lost debit card. I was assisted by a young lady by the name of Ahnaca. I got the impression that she was a relatively new employee, but was not sure because she was so customer oriented. My intent was to purchase 2 wigs and some accessories for their care. Ahnaca was well acquainted with with all pf the merchandise, and her product knowledge was excellent. She was kind, friendly and extremely helpful. I left the store with exactly what I wanted and will definitely return because of the way I was treated by this sales associate. It was obvious that she enjoys her job, and her focus is definitely customer service. As a new customer I was quite pleased. Upon my return, I will attempt to shop when Ahnaca is available to assist me. I am certain to become a regular customer as a result of this visit. Thank you. Kind Regards Cindy

I had a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience at Elegant. I previously left a review…read moreabout this store a few months ago. Since then, the manager (white bald caucasian guy) has tried to approach me more than once to discuss my review. The first time, I declined the conversation. Today, he approached me again while I was on the phone, and I declined again because I did not want to have that conversation. Instead of respecting my decision, he told me that if I could not have a conversation with him, I needed to leave the store. He then threatened to call the police on me, even though I was simply shopping and, from my perspective, had not done anything wrong or caused a disturbance. I should be able to leave an honest review about my experience without feeling pressured or confronted afterward. Being asked to leave simply because I did not want to discuss my previous review was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. I will not be returning.

I like makeup, but how I loathe this location. Where to begin. None of the associates know anything…read moreabout what they sell, they stare blankly at you when you ask for a product recommendation. I could probably provide better service to their customers if I just hung out in there and talked to random stranger about my experiences with their products. But, oh boy, will every single employee, of the 15 employees they have working on the sales floor (not registers) say hi to you. I'm trying to find a product your 15 employees are unable to recommend, I don't need someone popping up behind me every two minutes to say hi. And then when you're ready to check out, get ready to wait a while, because while it looks like there are a ton of people working there, there are like two people working together at a register. I don't know if I'm just getting older, but like, I've worked in retail, it's not difficult, just try your best, but it feels like it's so many of these employees' first day on earth. I've never encountered such blank, incapable people before. But at least they know how to say hi, I guess. And hopefully you don't have an issue with the product you buy. I did, and when I called them to speak to a manager, she called me a day later to basically go on and on about different products she liked. Lady, I'm out with my kids, I don't care, I just want to know if your billion dollar business is going to replace my lipliner. Spoiler; they did not. When I went to claim my birthday gift, the associate was extremely fixated on being able to scan the barcode in the email. Sorry, but you can see right here that I have the email, it just won't load because I'm not connected to WiFi. You're Gen Z, shouldn't even you know this? So she wants me to go ALL THE WAY HOME to download an email so she can scan something rather than just getting a manager and handing me the trial size tube of whatever. I really worry for our future if this is how they think. I'll just drive further away to not have to deal with this.

And I'd not been to this particular store before. We signed up years ago when we used to go to Cocoa Beach every July 4th weekend and there were two large stores (one for women and one for men) that we found ourselves stopping at each time we were in town. In fact, my husband used to find bargains here in the men's section -- shorts and shirts on sale at ridiculously low prices. Prices and stock have changed a bit over the years, however. I wanted to stop by as I had a 20 percent discount coupon that I'd received via email to use during my birthday month. Although I haven't had much luck at Beall's with ladies clothing, I have had some luck in their accessories department. I looked through their cosmetics. I looked through their purses. There were some big-name designer ones at a huge discount. The Kate Spade purses were lovely although not my style. And I looked through the shoes -- as I've purchased some Tommy Hilfinger sandals in the past that I wore for years. I wasn't that successful. I wound up buying a small item in their health and beauty section. My husband found a great set of Wi-Fi headphones (that he's already used). The discount I received made our purchases even more affordable.
