This store never has the crazy traffic that the SJTC one does. Staff is nice and maybe a little too attentive for my taste. The products themselves are amazing!! I love the variety of scents and different modalities of application. I'm a sucker for the snow fairy lip mask, scrubee bee, hair milk, and revive hair treatment. But I've never met a product I didn't like. read more

This was my first visit to Lush and I loved that it was for an event! For the Mom's Night out event we received a tour and provided information on the products that they offer. We made our very own bath bomb, all while being treated to beverages and snacks. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable on the products. I appreciate that they have testers out for majority of their products. If you wanted to try something that didn't have a tester all you have to do is ask. : ) They have products for both men and women along with vegan options. Lush believes in giving back to the community, using all natural ingredients, and not testing on animals. For quality product you will expect to pay a little more but it is worth it. I appreciate that they have different sizes so if you are a newbie like myself can make sure you like the product. For the three items I purchased I spent $28 dollars. Even though I got the smaller items I was okay with ass I was advised these sizes can last up to a few months. I am very excited to try the facial oil bar as it is a different concept. Definitely worth a visit if you never been. read more

I really love Lush products. They are from Canada and are of very high quality. They make soaps, shampoos, deodorants, moisturizers, perfumes, and so much more. Every item is labeled when made, with the name of the person who made it, and an expiration date. Of course, with that kind of personal touch, the pricing is quite high, so I don't get to indulge as much as I would like to. I do want to say that as I have aged, I have developed allergies to certain things and Lush products are such high quality that I have never had an allergic reaction to anything they've produced, which is more than I can say about mass-produced allergen free products available at drug stores. They stand by their products and if you want to try out something but don't want to purchase an entire bottle (or pot), you can buy a small sample. I really like that. The ladies who work here really know their product and can assist you, or not if that is what you prefer. LOL This particular store is super clean and well organized and I do enjoy coming here, even if I'm not a "mall person." read more

I love Lush! Finally had a chance to visit the new one at The Avenues and I as just as impressed with this was as I am with the one at The Town Centre. The customer service I received was absolutely awesome. I did get the sales girls name, but it has already left me (darnit). She was so knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had about every item. I was very, very impressed indeed. Because hubby is so horribly allergic to darn near everything, there was only so much of the overwhelming smell he could take and she was so understanding. She even sent me with a catalog to take with me so I could hurry and get hubby out of the store. Yes, they are over-priced, but I don't care! I still love their items anyway. Spending ridiculous amount of money here is no different than me spending ridiculous amounts of money at Basin in Orlando. See? I can justify anything! LOL Love this store! Love the products! I have never shopped at Lush. This was my first visit. A friend of mine works at Lush, so I thought I would look around. I did not have a lot of time to shop, as we were on a mission to find some shoes for Ernie. I was very impressed with the store. I will be back to shop when I have plenty of time to look around. I am a huge fan of lush products. But I'm getting to the point I won't go into the store anymore. This one in particular. But when you wanna smell the items, you need to go in the store rather than order online. But the staff is just damn annoying and borderline creepy. This one girl today followed me around asking if I need help. I made it clear I'm familiar with the lush line and just killing time. She continued to follow me as if I was a shoplifter and I had to turn different directions to get away from her. It's one thing to be friendly and offering to help. I've been here twice already and the sad part is neither time was for myself. Located off to the side of Forever21 this Gem is nothing short of amazing. I have no clue why it took me so long to find this place. I stopped in because I heard a lot of buzz about this place and decided to get a couple of my friends gifts for the holidays. Walking in everyone was so welcoming and ready to help with anything. Depending on the type of smell you were looking for they knew just the section to take you to. I was able to find gifts that fit for everyone and everything smelled so great I almost didn't want to give any of it away. Their products are Freshly Handmade so you don't have to worry about any harsh chemicals. I'm definitely looking forward to going back but this next time will definitely be for myself. read more

Wow, just wow! I was at a location up in NYC a few weeks ago and that was my first experience. I went to this location a couple of days ago for retirement gift for a friend and had just the best experience I think one could have. The associate who helped us was the best type of employee one can have. Not only was she knowledgeable, and friendly but she seemed to genuinely like her job and that was amazing. I ended up getting a gift set and then because she was such an excellent salesperson we ended up getting a facemask for my wife and I got a sample of a cuticle butter that I really like and will be going back to purchase too. The store itself is fantastic. Well stocked, maintained and so spacious. Seriously, I loved this place. Every product my wife and I have tried has been a winner so far. This particular LUSH is a great location. It's small, but the employees are incredibly knowledgeable about their products, and they don't try to push things on you to buy. They helpfully suggest what would be best for your skin or to suit your needs as to what you came in looking for. Lush overall has great products, I just wish they were priced a little less so I could buy a little more! read more

I. Love. Lush. The store smells fabulous when you walk in. The products are set up in a very raw , and cool way. As you walk in the products are on display with out being wrapped and most of the packaging is very minimal. The signs are in a handwritten font. The place smells so good , and is organized so nicely -your mind can't help but perceive it as very clean, and that you must have all the items in store back at your place At Once! (Can't be just me) There are between two and three friendly employees working in store the size of a large hotel room. They greet you and offer assistance frequently, so you will never have a question go unanswered. I found out about Lush when my Hubby gave me a bath bomb called Sex Bomb. When I dropped this giant (bigger than a tennis ball) chalky pink and purple ball of goodness into the tub , it fizzed like crazy and turned the water pink then purple . It is quite heavily scented , so you and your bathroom/surrounding area will smell like whatever scent you choose for a while. Yum! On my first visit to the store, I was thrilled to find out that they sell natural Henna there as well. I have been using Henna since 2014, but I was buying it on Amazon. Before finding it at lush, it would always wash out after a few washes. It just was not good quality Henna. At Lush I found the best Hannah that I've ever used. It's all natural and mixed with Shea butter which leaves your hair really soft and smooth and shiny with a red tint. I always use the caca marron (sh** brown) but it comes out much better than it sounds. It has a chocolatey brown /reddish tint to it and it is very nice. (I have vitiligo , so I have a white patch in my hair that I like to cover, but I have a sensitive scalp from it so if I use Henna it doesn't bother me because it's all natural.) **Disclaimer on Henna: Henna is permanent and most hairstylists won't color over Henna. Sooo, if you're thinking of trying it, be sure to know that it is a commitment.( until you're ready to cut it off and color what's virgin hair, so says the internet and all the stylists I've spoken to) **I believe some products still have sulfates so just be sure to read the label if you that something you'd like to avoid. read more

Even more obsessed than I was before. The staff is always super friendly and the products are always fresh. A few months back they made some formula changes to some of their products and the new pot of Dream Cream I purchased gave me a weird allergic reaction on my legs. I took the partly used container back in and they helped me find another lotion (Sympathy for the Skin) to exchange it out for, no issues at all. My personal favorite products are Sympathy for the Skin lotion, their Ocean Salt scrub, and the Catastrophe Cosmetic mask but it's worth checking out their site and chatting with some employees to see what might work best for you. read more

I stopped by The Avenues Mall recently and actually walked inside. (I normally only run into Belk for Free People.) I was surprised to find Lush Cosmetics was finally open. I have been going to the Town Center location, but the Avenues is around 5 minutes from my house. I walked into Lush and was greeted with nothing. Literally, no one said a word to me. I was in there for over ten minutes and finally got so frustrated by the lack of customer service. I left. I didn't buy a thing... I have always known Lush for smiling faces! Welcoming customer service associates! And most of all, amazing sales skills! I've left Lush in the past with a painful dent in my wallet. (That's how awesome they are at selling me stuff that I really don't need.) I will be avoiding the rude attitudes in this store and I'll stick to the further, but friendly Lush at the Town Center. I suggest you do the same as well. The products here are awesome (which is why they didn't get a 1 star), but the service doesn't work for me. Big, Ocean Salt, Celebrate, Sexy Peel, Coalface, and Veganese are some of my favorites. read more

The concept and idea of this store is great. My first and only time going to Lush was the weekend after Christmas. I never heard of the place until my sister got me a gift card. The sale associates were very friendly.... some a little too friendly though. One of them kept following me around the store and talking my head off about every item i picked up! Haha. But she was nice. At the time they did not have a huge selection, I'm sure due to the holidays. Also they were completely out of the all natural face cleansers. So that was a little disappointing. I do think it is overpriced. I'd only go every once in a while if I want to splurge. read more

I love lush. I have always had great experiences in their stores, but my visit to their south side location today was horrible. I was approached by 3 different Lush employees in 5 minutes. They didn't ask what I was looking for, they just tried to sell me random products and explain things to me when I have been shopping there for years and know all about the products. I have always been a fan of lush, however the last time I went I was at the counter and I asked for a little sample of something to clean up my face. However, it took them 20 mins just to get my sample, and when I got home I opened the sample up and it was like not even enough for half my face! worse lush in jacksonville ! i've only been to this lush and the one at the town center and this one was just awful. the employees didn't help me at all, acted like they didn't hear me, and were just overall rude and full of attitude. sad to see girls like this working at such a great store. love lush but not this location! read more
