All In Adventures is located inside Crossgates Mall in Albany. It's easiest to access by parking near the JCPenney entrance and taking the escalator up to the second floor near Zara. The space itself is a little unassuming from the outside, but the real razzle-dazzle begins once you enter the rooms. You get to choose from about 9 or 10 escape room options, and our team chose Black Ops, which I definitely recommend. Our host, Zach, was friendly, informative, and did a great job explaining the rules. One thing I really appreciated was that they don't actually lock the rooms because they care about guests not feeling claustrophobic. I thought that was a really considerate touch. As a team, and with a few hints lol, we successfully completed the mission. I had an absolute blast. Also, this was the first escape room I've ever successfully escaped from, so that was definitely another win for me lol. After the room, your team can take photos in front of a green screen. I will say this area could use a little improvement because the props were a bit lacking, but honestly, outside of that, I have zero complaints. So yes, five stars... partly for my ego's sake lol.

No decor other than a couple of cheap props. All you do is undo locks, the clues don't tie to the lock - find 4 digits try every 4 digit lock. Staff while friendly were scattered. We finished but had no idea what to do, just wandered out till we found someone and after a bit they went and stopped the clock. All the rooms are just behind an unlocked door you can go in and out as you like - no where to put belongings but on the floor in the room. And you can hear everything from all other rooms. If you are looking for an escape room in the Mall 5 wits is a much much better option.

They offered painting tricks and tips as needed, and they were very friendly and supportive of all dofferent skill levels. They had a kitchen fire a few years ago, shut down for a year, and completely rebuilt the store/café. It's beautiful, and you can get great baked goods including their famous cider donuts and a variety of coffee/beverages at the counter and sit comfortably in the cafe. They greatly reduced the kitchen space and don't make full meals in house. The cidery/brewery downstairs is still a great place to hang out but you'll only be able to get a few mostly app type food items. The main place to eat is now up the hill where Defazios runs a pizza counter. There's also a beautiful catering space overlooking the Helderbergs where we held a 40th anniversary party. Defazios provides full catering there, from their wonderful main restaurant menu. Indian Ladder provides beverage service, offering theirs and other NYS beer, wine and cider.

I did an escape room as a team building exercise and we did Jungle 2. We've been told we need not have done Jungle to do this room. We received a link for the waiver as soon as we got the reservation. It laid out all the rules too. There are a handful of parking spaces in front of the venue for ease of access. Upon arrival, we all checked in watched a video to give us the premise of the game. I loved all the puzzles in the game! I want to same more but don't want to give anything away. Nick was an amazing host and game master through it all and helped us along the way when we needed to make it out of the game! I can't wait to come back!

One difference here is that they helped you try to throw both one or two handed. At the previous space they only allowed 2 handed. Both me and my husband liked the 1 handed better. The guy who led our session really worked hard to help me be successful, even calling another guy over to help give tips. The lady who checked us in was also really friendly and helpful.
