All In Adventures is located inside Crossgates Mall in Albany. It's easiest to access by parking near the JCPenney entrance and taking the escalator up to the second floor near Zara. The space itself is a little unassuming from the outside, but the real razzle-dazzle begins once you enter the rooms. You get to choose from about 9 or 10 escape room options, and our team chose Black Ops, which I definitely recommend. Our host, Zach, was friendly, informative, and did a great job explaining the rules. One thing I really appreciated was that they don't actually lock the rooms because they care about guests not feeling claustrophobic. I thought that was a really considerate touch. As a team, and with a few hints lol, we successfully completed the mission. I had an absolute blast. Also, this was the first escape room I've ever successfully escaped from, so that was definitely another win for me lol. After the room, your team can take photos in front of a green screen. I will say this area could use a little improvement because the props were a bit lacking, but honestly, outside of that, I have zero complaints. So yes, five stars... partly for my ego's sake lol.

Out of all three, my personal favorite was the tomb, which felt the most immersive out of the three. The puzzles were well designed and the visual effects were great. I even had a piece with my breakfast the next morning, I couldn't get enough, but it was about $25. Three donuts and two coffees cost us $17.55, which is a bit overkill but we wanted to enjoy in the moment. We also purchased a jar of peach jelly Togo and that was about $8. This is a great place to take a friend or date in the afternoon or for an event. There are several walking trails available and the property is gorgeous as you have a great view of the Catskill Mountains. There are several places where you can just sit around and chat for a while and they have their own pub and eatery under the main store. Additionally, there are some livestock chilling on the property and a small petting area where the kids can feed goats, chickens and any other creature wandering around. One difference here is that they helped you try to throw both one or two handed. At the previous space they only allowed 2 handed. Both me and my husband liked the 1 handed better. The guy who led our session really worked hard to help me be successful, even calling another guy over to help give tips. The lady who checked us in was also really friendly and helpful. On our way out she was talking to us about their knife throwing options, and she even let us give it a try. Really great family run business, and a fun thing to do!
