I first began getting eyelash extensions due to an autoimmune disorder which wreaked havoc on my hair and eyelash growth. I have been getting my lashes done at Luring Lashes for over ten years, and it is the one beauty treatment that I absolutely will not do without. Kathy is meticulous, professional and extremely hygienic. Given she has a nursing background, I trust her performing this delicate procedure without risking my eyes. Kathleen is so wonderful; I had to take the train up once and she actually picked me up at the station and dropped me off! Talk about customer service! She charges a very reasonable rate for lash extensions compared to a lot of salons, and she doesn't push the products too much. I LOVE my lash extensions, everybody I tell says they cant' even tell they're not real, even after looking closely. The owner Kathleen is horrible!!! clearly she must be writing her own glowing reviews. She clearly has NO fashion sense therefore unable to select the appropriate style lashes for you. She stock very short curly ugly lashes. If you offer your suggestion she will ignore you. She is a very heavy smoker and appear drinker. The smell of smoke is very uncomfortable. No staff to greet you or answer the phone the office is empty always!!! She operates on her cell and you can never reach her. Never will you get reminded of your appointment. I would give Kathy 100 stars! She is meticulous and detail oriented. She is a registered nurse so she pays attention to aseptic technique and everything is extremely clean and organized. Her office is incredibly relaxing and comfortable. She is very gentle and will tell you how she is progressing if you ask. She is very easy to talk to, friendly and professional. She truly takes her time to make sure that her treatment is thorough and set. She assigns more than ample time per each session and has never kept me waiting. Not only do I LOVE the results but I love the process of getting them (so relaxing and therapeutic). I LOVE having my eyelashes done! It has made such a difference in how I carry myself and I do not even have to wear eye makeup anymore. Everyone says my face has lit up and my eyes are so expressive! I had my lashes done here 3 years ago and they were amazing! I've moved away from the area and just had a horrible lash job done elsewhere. I would love to go back to Luring Lashes but I keep calling the number above and have left messages and am not hearing back from anybody. Kathy does such a great job keeping my lashes full and beautiful. Recently, I tried the PhytoBella makeup ( blush, lip gloss, and eye shadow). The colors are gorgeous and long lasting ( eg eyeshadow didn't crease). The Extreme Lashes glide Liner is also great because it goes on easily but stays on all day. read more
