I heard this was the only Asian Fusion restaurant in the Netherlands to receive a Michelin star, so…read morewe came here to celebrate my father in-law's birthday. The decor and service was very top-notch, it definitely deserved that star (unlike Koriander in Drachten). The food was definitely an interesting mix of Asian and French cuisines and all the combinations were pleasingly tasty and innovative. Food: 5/5 We took the 5 course chef's menu and unfortunately I forgot to write down the various dishes. However, everything was fresh, delicious and with many interesting compositions. One thing I really liked was that there was very limited amounts of seasoning and that allowed the freshness of the food's natural flavors to come out. The highlight of the meal was definitely the bone marrow. It may seem quite intimidating because it is served in the bone, but it was amazingly flavorful and tender. One thing I liked was that you can do a wine pairing per glass. Which means that you can choose which dishes you wanted a wine to drink with. This also meant that you didn't have to commit to a whole wine tasting (which is difficult for me because I'm a light weight and can't drink much). Service: 4/5 The staff was excellent and came around visiting our table, making sure we had enough water, wine and explaining all the dishes. Their wine sommelier is also amazing and recommended good wines that paired well with the dishes. For example, one wine paired with the venison tasted different before and after eating the meat. Atmosphere: 4/5 The decor exudes a luxe atmosphere and the decor is a very pretty understated Asian theme. (No tacky dragons - thank goodness...) Value: 4/5 A 5 course chef's menu was €57. It certainly isn't cheap, but the food was very tasty and well worth the money.

A Oriental/French fusion affair done to an exceptional level. Expect to pay around 40 Euro for for courses. A great wine selection for all budgets and some of the best service you will find in Den Haag. This is also one of the few places I've been to recently where you can have a conversation with those around you without having to shout. My only gripe, even though it's a small one was the time between courses. One of our party just had two while the rest of us had four so an extra bottle of wine was required. Not a bad thing unless your tastes are for the more expensive.

The chicken loempia was PERFECT and probably the best egg roll of my life. The hot food variety is stunning and can be purchased by the ounce so you can try everything. I love this place!! I was so surprised about this place being so good!…read more First of all the food was super delicious and the price is so reasonable! I got the teriyaki ramen noodles and spring rolls. You get quite a big bowl and the teriyaki chicken was delicious. I am quite an eater and even I got full from the bowl. The springrolls were just the same as regular ones. The place is quite big and comfy, when you order your food they give you this funny looking thing that vibrates when your food is ready. You then go get your food and give them the funny looking thing. The workers are super friendly and helpful. You can see them working in the kitchen. Also they serve halal food which is not so common in asian restaurants.

You can also choose to do take away and bring your order home with you. Due to the fact that it is designed to serve quick and filling meals, the menu is focused on main dishes and noodles. Food: 4/5 The food here is tasty and familiar, it is the standard dishes I would expect from a place like this - HK BBQ meat such as crispy pork, soy sauce chicken. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is that there isn't really anything else like it around. Of course, you can get the same take away from St. Anny Food but the difference in quality is tremendous (this is much better!!). Full Moon Express is the sort of place that I would go back to when I want typical Cantonese food. My recommendations: Anything from HK BBQ grill Service: 5/5 Super fast, this is the McDonald's of Chinese food. Atmosphere: 4/5 Cantonese cooking creates a lot of grease and I was surprised by how clean this place was. The counters are made of stainless steel and it just felt like everything was sparkling clean... I wished my kitchen looked like this! Value: 5/5 This is clearly subjective... In comparison to what you would pay for a meal anywhere else, this place is cheap, tasty and filling. However, I can't help but think about how much I would have paid in New York and how much it would cost to make it myself (though clearly my version would not be as tasty...)

We went too heavy on the Dim Sim, ordering six types of noodles, dumplings, and baopaos - but in reality one or two were enough for our small group. Take a look around - the main courses are running the show. As servers carrying whole suckling pigs, crackling peking ducks, and gorgeous overflowing plates of greens pass by your table, you'll regret your choice to stick with snacks. The salted cod + chicken fried rice should not be missed. Pictures on the menu are a huge advantage and let you spy on other tables to try and order better. It's not cheap - we somehow managed a €70 bill between the two of us, granted we had €17 of beer, but only one main course. They will do takeout containers, so be ready for that.

The…read morefood is far better than average and the menu is conveniently printed in Mandarin, badly translated Dutch, and pictures for those of you who are Nederlands-impaired. Eten kaart in Engels? Sorry, het is niet mogelijk. But that's okay. The food comes quickly and is usually far better than the average Chinese food you're likely to find in Holland. Plus, the dim sum selection is great. I usually end up getting a noodle soup with either duck or pork, but that's only because it's late at night after concerts, and that's my favorite post-concert guilty pleasure. Everything else looks delicious, but for those who don't speak Dutch or Mandarin, be wary of asking for a description or translation in English...they might not bring you what you think you ordered. Thankfully there's a picture menu. The best part, as is usually the case in a place like this is the staff. The head waiter (maybe) is old, surly, and doesn't seem to like anyone. Or at least not me. There may have been an episode where some of my colleagues and I left origami dinosaurs and cranes along with the money, and ever since then he hasn't seemed to like any of us, even though we come in a couple times a month.

Service here was more efficient than at other restaurants we visited during our stay; our tea and beer were brought out relatively quickly, and the longest time that we had to wait was for the cheque at the end. Lots of seating available, so we could've easily dined mid-evening without making a reservation in advance. The Indonesian items on my better half's set were all very flavorful, especially the meats. I enjoyed my al dente, liberally sauced noodles almost as much, and harbor no complaints about the wonton soup. The dim sum combinations seemed popular, but we ran out of time during our trip and were unable to return and try those and more of their extensive menu (the sieuw ya fan, kam lo wan tan, yuk chi tofu, and regional sets certainly caught our eye). The portions are quite generous for the cost, so it's a good pick if you're looking to have leftovers for breakfast.

One of the strong points is their menu of Dim Sum. There are several of those that seem unique (a favorite of mine is one with Abalone - Pau yu siew mai). There is, in good weather, the possibility to sit at tables on the sidewalk (on what is a quiet street for at least part of the day).
