Three and a half stars. English-speaking staff, takeaway available, and accepts Visa signature cards as payment. Service here was more efficient than at other restaurants we visited during our stay; our tea and beer were brought out relatively quickly, and the longest time that we had to wait was for the cheque at the end. Lots of seating available, so we could've easily dined mid-evening without making a reservation in advance.
The Indonesian items on my better half's set were all very flavorful, especially the meats. I enjoyed my al dente, liberally sauced noodles almost as much, and harbor no complaints about the wonton soup. The dim sum combinations seemed popular, but we ran out of time during our trip and were unable to return and try those and more of their extensive menu (the sieuw ya fan, kam lo wan tan, yuk chi tofu, and regional sets certainly caught our eye). The portions are quite generous for the cost, so it's a good pick if you're looking to have leftovers for breakfast. read more
