(Steven Wright) If you're hunting for quality sportsmen gear, this is the best spot locally to tackle your tackle list. That's no fish tale! THE LURE: The store is close to Bay Point Park boat launch, making it a convenient stop for fishing gear or licenses before you head out on the Mississippi River. THE LINE: Four Seasons carries solid inventory on fishing, archery, and hunting equipment. For the lady aiming for fishing boat chic, there's a pink sweatshirt with your name on it! There's even a pink tackle box for the matchy matchy look, but women's sunglasses would be a great add so one doesn't have to buy a manly pair in a pinch. THE CAST: Employees won't ambush you with pressure sales tactics or stalk you like prey, but they are enthusiastic to help if you look confused when your father sends you in for products you can't find. They are also fantastic with questions about the river, nearby lakes, and where fish are biting. I give this store 4.3 jigs for their excellent customer service and inventory! Now go catch yourself a lunker!

I went to this location to buy a rain jacket for my upcoming spring fishing trip to Lake of the Woods and I had the best customer service experience in quite a long time. The young buck working in the clothing section named Stew was so helpful, kind, and hardworking. I needed a 2xl size than the xl size that was on the store floor and Stew checked his handy dandy little gadget and once he found out the size was in the back he went and got it for me. After he got back and I tried it on, I then asked him if he had the matching pants in stock also and he went and got me those as well! What great customer service! Whatever they are paying Stew it is not enough. Most kids today at other stores ive been too are just lazy and they sigh at me whenever I ask them a question like its the end of the world for them. After I was done Stew asked me if I had any other questions/needs and I told him no but I'll be sure to find him next time I come to visit this great store. Be on the lookout for Stew he is one of a kind.

The trip takes about 2 hours if the river is flowing fast but in Aug 2021, the river was super low and they said that it was taking folks 3-5 hours. You leave your car at the take-out and they shuttle you up. I only had 2 hours. I called and they left a kayak out for me at the Dundas take-out. In the morning, I paddled up river to the Cannon River Wilderness Area (I'd guess 2 miles) and then paddled back to the take-out. It was really pretty. It is all trees along this section of river. I saw lots of birds. I think the part in the wilderness area is even nicer so do the 7-mi trip if you have time. If you do the trip when the river is low, make sure to take shoes for walking in the river. You'll need to get out and drag the boat sometimes. So like tennis shoes not flip flops. The owner was super nice and helpful on the phone.

Unfortunately, the repair failed after just one day of use. What is most troubling is not simply that the repair did not last, but that your business has chosen not to stand behind the work performed. Customers pay for professional expertise with the reasonable expectation that repairs with any immediate issues resulting from that work will be addressed responsibly. A repair that fails within 24 hours raises legitimate concerns about the quality of the service provided. Refusing to take responsibility for that outcome reflects poorly on your commitment to customer satisfaction and undermines trust in your business. I selected your shop because I believed I was paying for skilled service and professional integrity. Regrettably, this experience has left me feeling that neither was delivered. You have lost my trust and future business.

NEXT!!! Next? Oh, I forgot that I'm in Wisconsin. There's always a next in Wisconsin. Where I'm from, you usually plant yourself in one location and hope that they find your curled up self in a corner before they close. Such as it is, let's do this. As we made our way to the backside of the Garage, we find ourselves part of a scattered group of revelers who were all imbibing of the product. That product being, of course, beer. The equal of humanity. The handshake of nations. The reason for our visit. And for good reason, the purpose was to indulge, and that we did. My buddy suggested that we get a jump on the season and have an Oktoberfest. I had to remind him that it being the waning days of September, we were already in the midst. Oktoberfest was well under way. "Semantics, he said, let's just get a damn beer!" Good idea, John, good idea. We both chose an Oktoberfest. Ice cold it arrived to the bar mat, and ice cold it went down. The day was unusually warm for this time of year, so the cold beverage was a treat as we lounged in the Adirondack chairs under the tarp. This was the life. Not a care in the world. Relaxing and watching as the world passed by. Which included a string of pearls who were on parade. Each flaunting their late summer attire. An unexpected pleasure? Or is this the norm for The Garage Bikes and Brew. I'd say that it's worth a repeat visit. Wouldn't you? Quick Tip: There's a stage under the big top. Music can be had if you time it right. Seems our timing is never right. Such was the case on this occasion. The band was packing up when we settled in. We didn't pack it in though. We stayed and enjoyed the beer, and the scenery.
