(Steven Wright) If you're hunting for quality sportsmen gear, this is the best spot locally to tackle your tackle list. That's no fish tale! THE LURE: The store is close to Bay Point Park boat launch, making it a convenient stop for fishing gear or licenses before you head out on the Mississippi River. THE LINE: Four Seasons carries solid inventory on fishing, archery, and hunting equipment. For the lady aiming for fishing boat chic, there's a pink sweatshirt with your name on it! There's even a pink tackle box for the matchy matchy look, but women's sunglasses would be a great add so one doesn't have to buy a manly pair in a pinch. THE CAST: Employees won't ambush you with pressure sales tactics or stalk you like prey, but they are enthusiastic to help if you look confused when your father sends you in for products you can't find. They are also fantastic with questions about the river, nearby lakes, and where fish are biting. I give this store 4.3 jigs for their excellent customer service and inventory! Now go catch yourself a lunker!

My wife used to hate it when I stop until I got her a 22cal revolver and now she carries a 357mag revolver or my 38 special and now she always asks if we are going to stop) LOL and we have to go to a range almost once a month! Thanks Joes, now she enjoys shooting as much as I do and she can now outshoot me and has a permit to carry and keeps a gun on her or at least in her car. You set her up with a 380 but she likes a little bit larger handgun. And the prices are unbelievably low on new and used guns. she also let me buy a 44mag and she likes to soot that too. I have to keep telling her that we have enough guns! See that you started Joe's! She won't shop anywhere else for guns!

So instead of buying 100$+ if ammo I thanked him for his lack of interest in my business and left. If u dont look "the part" u might be treated as a waste of time.

I have purchased 2 graphs, trolling motor, installation ( supervised by Pat ) one hell of a nice guy and couldn't be more helpful on numerous occasions. Rerigged our boat and I couldn't be more satisfied with the installations. We used sales and saved money ! Still spent 9k. Purchased a firearm, performance special order and sold traded a firearm at this store. Hanna, was Exceptional in helping me purchase the firearm I wanted. From ordering, out of state to making sure the paperwork was correct and I was up to speed on the process! Gary helped me on the day of pickup for my firearm. Exceptional also. Employees like these, service, quality products and what makes a sporting goods store awesome like this store is why this store will have my business and I could go anywhere in the metro area to find what I want. Thank You, beside this review I did speak to the store general manager and convey to him in person what a great group of employees he has. Thanks

The trip takes about 2 hours if the river is flowing fast but in Aug 2021, the river was super low and they said that it was taking folks 3-5 hours. You leave your car at the take-out and they shuttle you up. I only had 2 hours. I called and they left a kayak out for me at the Dundas take-out. In the morning, I paddled up river to the Cannon River Wilderness Area (I'd guess 2 miles) and then paddled back to the take-out. It was really pretty. It is all trees along this section of river. I saw lots of birds. I think the part in the wilderness area is even nicer so do the 7-mi trip if you have time. If you do the trip when the river is low, make sure to take shoes for walking in the river. You'll need to get out and drag the boat sometimes. So like tennis shoes not flip flops. The owner was super nice and helpful on the phone.
