The people who work here are really nice and incredibly fair and honest. I dropped my Victorinox watch off because it was missing a button and he told me about $60-80. Well, it was about $100. He said my watch was more complicated than a Rolex but he didn't charge me anymore than what he got charged so he made no profit off of me. He said because he quoted me a $ amount that was less he didn't want to charge anymore than the cost to him. And on top of this, he said I had a 6 month free warranty! Came here because I had a broken necklace and they repaired it within 5 mins. So I went back since I saw their reviews because I lost a necklace a couple months ago and asked to recreate which they said yes, took maybe two weeks? I absolutely love the results. I had asked to connect the left part of the A since the old one used to get caught on my clothes. But it looks exactly the same. Got the chain from them as well. Exceptional service! This place was recommended to me from my son,. Needed to get my ring resized...it's located in an older shopping strip in ne so wasn't too sure yet. So I took the jeweler what I needed and as he examined my ring I looked in the cases, very unique items for sale...quite a few caught my eyes. So he tells me it would be $65 which to me seemed good and that it would be done in 2 hrs, I'm like not a week or two? Now I'm impressed. Drove the extra mile because of all the previous reviews and was not disappointed! My grandmother wanted a ring repaired (band was cracked and pinched her), when it was done, they polished it and it looked brand new. She said it looked as beautiful as when her husband gave it to her 40 years ago. The diamond popped out of my ring and I knew the prongs probably needed replacing. I read the reviews of this store and decided to try it. I was very impressed with the work they did on this ring as well as replacing the prongs on another ring which I asked them to inspect. The work was done in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. If you need anything done for jewelry (alterations, welding, etc) these guys are fantastic. I brought my fiancé's ring in and they re-sized it on the spot. (They even gave the excess gold back). The work itself was great as far as I can tell. The job was done immaculately. I can't even see where they cut material out. They also fixed a bad job the last jeweler did (the solitaire was crooked next to the engagement piece) and not only adjusted it to make it symmetrical but they fused it even more securely than it was before. All this was done for $54.13 (Zales wanted $120 for the same job) and showed me that the setting prongs were wearing out under a magnifying glass. Very professional work. Every experience I have had here has been amazing . I've repaired a chain here twice and repair costs were very affordable. Customer service was very friendly and informed. I recently went in to repair a bail on a pendant that was a bit to small for for the chain I was going to put it on and once again customer service was amazing and speedy . Expansion on earlier comment: Took a pocket watch to be serviced as it was losing time, which meant it needed to be cleaned, lubricated, etc. However, after comparing photos of before and after, I came to realize nothing had been done except perhaps a minor adjustment to the regulator. I meticulously compared microscopic photos only to find the same dirt and microfibers that were present before. None of the screws had been moved, so a cleaning was not performed. Also, after comparing the regulator position before and after, it had been moved a bare fraction. So, bottom line, for $xx dollars they stored my watch for a week, then pronounced it done! Would not recommend this business for watch cleaning. Don't know anything about the jewelry side of their business. However, will say the staff was very friendly as they took my payment... read more
