As a result, I sweated my first application off within 3 days. The returning touch-up was good, but the lack of communication is a big no for me. Bernadette said she would show me how to trim and tint my eyebrows. All I had to do was message her and then I could come on down. I did that over the course of weeks. She would not respond unless I said I would come to her shop, which is in her home (I don't like going to a private home to do this.). She had one excuse after another as to why she couldn't do it. When I asked if the following week would be okay, I got no response. She doesn't seem to respect me as her client. I will not be back. There are plenty of other people I could give $600 to and at least have them not lie to me.

Everyone has been kind, helpful, and consistently delivers good results. Since Amanda left, I hadn't quite found someone who matched my personal preferences when it comes to shaping for my face and eyes. I was always satisfied, just not fully aligned with what I was looking for, if that makes sense. That changed once Nancy joined the team! Every time I've seen her, she's been incredibly consistent and always achieves exactly the look I want. She also goes above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable during the service, like placing a blanket on me and checking in throughout, which I really appreciate. I've also noticed much better retention with her work and very minimal fallout. I know all of the stylists use the same products and tools, so I'm not sure if it's her technique or the extra time and attention to detail she puts in, but whatever it is, it works. I was given an appointment with the owner's daughter. I already have my eyeliner done both…read moretop/bottom as well as my eyebrows and I'd had them touched-up by the same person in Chgo. for 20 years. As I was now living in Florida, this would be my first experience w/someone else. First, she was 20 minutes late in arriving to the appt. Second, she didn't bother to even introduce herself. She asked me to follow her into the room, looked over my face never saying ONE WORD. Her attitude was such that she appeared to be bothered that she had to come in to take care of me. Third, after I told her I wanted my eyeliner touched up she proceeded to take out her instruments and mix colors w/out having any conversation with me about what I wanted/needed colors, nothing. When I did start to discuss w/her, she was condescending and proceeded to explain to me that she had been tattooing since she was 15 and snarked about already knowing what she was doing before even receiving her certification (as if to say "shut up I know what I'm doing") and proceeded to absolutely JACK UP my eyeliner (top and bottom). 1. She made my line thicker (though I never asked her to). 2. She was so heavy handed with the needle that the ink ended up migrating both above and below. 3. I ended up having to go back 3xs in an attempt to fix the ink migration. 4. I never was able to get the shaky hand/crooked liner fixed. I had to call and speak w/her mother (the owner) to explain myself, and have this disaster fixed. I did not want her daughter to touch me! But the owner insisted her daughter was the best person to fix this issue. After the 3rd visit to attempt to fix the migration, COVID kicked-in. I was never able to go back as I ended up moving out of state (and quite frankly I just didn't want her to touch my face anymore). Honestly, her entire attitude that day was as though she'd had a fight w/her partner and took it out on my face. Needless to say, my ink is still migrated in some places and if you look closely, you can see her shaky hand in her line work. THE WORST!! She should lose her license (and consider buying herself a nicer personality). My opinion. Don't go. It's not inexpensive and more importantly, it's YOUR FACE! It's the fist thing people see and if you want yours to not end up like mine, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO ELSEWHERE FOR THIS PROCEDURE.
