We have a roofing company and despite clearly marking and verbally communicating where we would like the bin (so a wheelbarrow will dump directly into it). The bin ends up upwards of 15ft away the the edge of the roof forcing us to build ramps or use a shovel which takes hours longer. Also on multiple occasions I get charged hundreds of dollars more for construction and demolition rates vs regular refuse. They claim it is because the wood and metal is not separated and tangled together. Obviously if I can save $700 I will spend 10 minutes and separate things on the top. This has happened so often that I started taking pictures to dispute the fees with no such luck. I wish I had other options so regrettably I will still be a loyal customer. I just wish they cared for the customer more than profits

This was a most unpleasant experience. When I arrived, the woman in the office asked if it was 500…read morepounds. Not having a scale I said I didn't know. I did know it was at least 300 to 400 lbs but hadn't weighed it while loading. She said she would recycle it. Without telling me, that meant I was donating it to her. After unloading, I was told to have a nice day. When I questioned why I wasn't getting paid for my metal, I was then told they only accept minimums of 500 lbs. I objected, so she gave me a receipt and $15 with no idea of how much it actually weighed. I would recommend ABC Recycling and would advise to stay clear of this place.
