I would have guessed the ink on 1-year warranty would have dried before I'd need to use it. Sadly, that isn't the case. Now, I'll need to pay to rent a car for another multi-day stint with AAction. (I don't suppose they'd be gracious enough to pick up the tab for continued inconvenience)... needless to say, I'm not terribly satisfied with AAction Better Built Transmissions right about now...

Miami heat on July can make you cry…read more.. And I was literally in tears because the AC of my car broke. The sole idea of taking it to the dealer gave me stomach ache, so I decided to do a Yelp search, and Voila! I was in the route to climate recovery. I ended at JR Discount Tires and Service thanks to a very honest recommendation from another mechanic in the area (see my review on Triana & Sons). First thing I noticed, the garage was full with cars like mine. Good sign. Carlos, the owner, a friendly man was in his tiny office in the back of the garage. I stated my dilemma and immediately he told me what the problem was without checking my car. To be honest, I didn't like that. (Imagine a doctor telling you, you have cancer without touching you). According to him the AC resistant and the micro filter needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate. For some inexplicable reason (maybe heat exhaustion), I trusted him (I usually don't trust mechanics in Miami; they happily and without hesitation defraud women). He sent his son to buy the parts at the dealer, and my car was freezing cold in 4 hours. Keep in mind I showed up out of the blues and he accommodated my car to be fix on a busy Saturday. I really appreciated that. Also, he showed me the old parts he replaced. I liked that too. The repair cost was very reasonable (less than $300 for parts and labor), in comparison with the bills I used to get from the dealer. Always up to $500 and more. If you ask me, I will continue taking my car there. I was very pleased. Attention BMW owners: Carlos worked in BMW for more than 20 years, so take your Beamer there without hesitation. He had very reasonable prices, and knows BMWs inside out.

I tried calling them the next day but no answer after many, many tries. I drove down there and was told my car would be next in line the next day and they would call me mid day. No call. I called them at least 10 times during the day with no answer. I went there again and was made promises again and I took my vehicle and left. What a waste of my time. No respect for others. 2 days without my vehicle and my car was parked on the street the whole time and very vulnerable. Judging by the number of cars parked all over the place my story seems to be the norm. The place is dirty and unorganized. The woman I spoke with was very apoligetic and very nice but I would not recommend this place at all.

Outstanding attention to detail, high standards & quality of work as well as EXCEPTIONAL customer service. They have consistently good reviews for good reason. Their prices were 2/3 of what dealership was asking for same service. VERY PROFESSIONAL, work by appointment & get you in & out like a race pit crew. I had a mishap with a defective part that cracked while getting 20,000 mile maintenance service & they replaced it incredibly quickly at no charge to me with minimal inconvenience. I reached out to MasterClass and they were happy to take the car that day. Later in the day, I received a price quote that was very high for a standard inspection and oil change - 3 times what the dealer wanted to charge me. I messaged them back and told them that I would collect the car as the price was too high and they re-quoted it to just include a standard oil change/fluid top-up, no other diagnostics or inspections. That was more reasonable, but still slightly higher than the dealer. Despite the pricing, service and professionalism was excellent. The job was done very quickly and my car was washed and shining clean when I picked it up. Their advisors were extremely friendly and I received a nice hand-written note afterward. The facility seems clean enough to eat off the floor. I'll keep them at 5 stars despite the pricing because I know that they don't really specialize in basic oil changes. They're not trying to compete with the dealers or gas station down the street. Asking for an oil change here is like asking a heart surgeon to put a band-aid on your cut. You can see by the cars that they service and their reputation that they know what they are doing. I will most certainly consider them for more advanced work in the future.

He is honest, knowledgeable, and always straightforward about what the car actually needs. He never tries to upsell or push unnecessary repairs, which is rare to find in the auto repair world. We service our Mercedes GLE 350 here, and as anyone knows, those repairs are not cheap. But we have always felt the pricing is fair and transparent, and most importantly, trustworthy. Felipe often tells us when something can safely wait instead of rushing to replace parts right away , something many other mechanics wouldn't do. The entire team is friendly, professional, and very upfront. You always feel respected and well taken care of. After six years of consistently great service, we highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a mechanic they can truly trust. Thank you . Nilza and Peter
