Best experience I have EVER had working with any real estate agent or Realtor!!…read more I've bought/sold two homes in the past working with at least 3 Realtors through the process and Liz and her team delivered the best experience BY FAR! My wife and I worked with Liz on the purchase of our new dream house in Orange County. From the start she was going above and beyond what we were expecting. We called rather suddenly when a property showed up on the market and scheduled to go see it with her. We weren't seriously looking before this. By the time we got to the property she and her team already had a good understanding of the history of the listing and were working comps real time to give us a clear understanding of what fair market value would be. Even adjusting it for what we were seeing in person at the property. We weren't certain if it was more of a buyer's market or a seller's market as it had been a seller's market for so long, but she explained the current conditions/trends of what she was seeing in the area and gave us EXCELLENT advice every step of the way. But she was also never pushy. She ultimately left it up to us to make the decision with the information she provided. We trusted her expertise and it absolutely paid off, literally. We got a deal on the property that we are very happy with. She offered great advice on everything from prices, timing, and even when to potentially walk away. Liz has a team of people that really seem to communicate as a team, not just a group of individuals working under the same company name. In passing conversations Liz talked about how she and her team work together, and it does seem like they get to share in each others expertise and experiences to develop a good understanding of the market. Liz also talked about what she does to train her team, and she seems like a great leader. No one looks left behind to fend for themselves, and it seems very structured so that everyone has support and training to deliver great customer service. Liz has a great reputation in the area which I think was a huge benefit in our case. The seller's Realtor already knew Liz and trusted her. We happened to meet the seller's Realtor, and even without Liz present, the seller's Realtor had nothing but great things to say about their interactions. Her expertise really does seem to be in demand as she seemed to be giving seminars or talks to audiences even outside of her team. Even with her busy schedule it never really impacted the scheduling of events at our home. She always still met us at the property for events like home inspections, walk throughs, and giving us the keys to the property. She always provided great communication and was very responsive whether it was through e-mail, calls or texts to help answer questions. I can be "particular" (picky) about some things and whenever I brought up a question or concern, no matter how small, she never dismissed it or tried to excuse it as something I didn't need to worry about. She took my concerns seriously and got them addressed. Out of everything, I think this is what I am most grateful for as it kept me comfortable working with her and I never felt like she was just trying to "close a deal", which was my preconceived notion of Realtors unfortunately. She really does seem to care for her clients and making sure they are happy. I would 100% work with Liz again!

Long story short: John's the man…read more Short story long? As with all first-time home buyers, the experience is overwhelming. From understanding your own finances to navigating the real estate market and endless terminology, it's easy to become paralyzed and lost in the storm. This is where John comes in; he is the lighthouse guiding you safely back to harbor. John has deep industry experience. He understands the market, what's out there, and exactly how the process works. Most importantly, he listens. He truly understands your situation and has your best interests at heart. John remembers your goals and what you said would make you happy, using that as a compass for every decision. At times when we couldn't find the right fit and I started to deviate, he would remind me of my original vision to ensure I didn't settle. I'm going to say it twice: he truly has your best interests at heart. I have a tendency to push my limits, and John wasn't afraid to step in and advise me when something might overburden my finances. He isn't just trying to close a deal and meet numbers; he cares about your future. He is incredibly patient. There was definitely a learning curve for me, but John understands that everyone learns differently. He took the time to rephrase complex concepts and provided examples to ensure I fully understood every step. He never made me feel "dumb" for asking questions; you can tell he genuinely cares through his tone and approach. John is also remarkably responsive. Whenever I found a listing with high potential and forwarded it to him late in the day, he would acknowledge and respond promptly. Even when I felt bad for reaching out late, he provided peace of mind by doing his homework immediately. We were often at the property the very next day. He acts fast and efficiently. Finally, he is solution-oriented. There were many times I thought a goal was out of reach, but he would do the research and return with a Plan A, B, and C. This gave me so much hope and reassurance throughout the process. The home search is a roller coaster of emotions, but John is there with you side-by-side from start to finish. You never feel alone, and you never feel doubt with John in your corner. "Looking back at where I started, I am forever grateful for John. He turned what felt like an impossible mountain to climb into a clear path forward. Through his hard work and dedication, I am a proud homeowner in a place I truly love, and I couldn't have done it without him." If you want more than just an agent--if you want an advocate--John is the one to call." Thank you for everything.

We initially explored pricing and ultimately submitted a paid application for $4,000, not $3,800 as they later claimed in their response. We have email proof confirming this. We were also told there could be flexibility around $4,100 if we had strong documentation, which we did. Based on that, we were encouraged to apply, pay fees, and submit everything. After doing all of that, there was no real movement or consideration. What made this worse was their response, which included inaccurate statements about us "lowballing" and "going behind our agent." That is simply not true. We were fully transparent with our agent the entire time, and she can confirm that. We also have texts supporting it. Nothing was hidden or "found out" later. Instead of focusing on a reasonable $100 difference that could have easily made both parties happy, they chose to argue and escalate things publicly through responses rather than work toward a solution. That says a lot about their priorities. The bigger issue here is the lack of transparency. If the price was always firm at $4,200, that should have been clearly stated upfront. Instead, we were led to believe there was flexibility, only to find out after paying application fees that there wasn't. The communication throughout felt dismissive and unprofessional, and their response only reinforced that. My advice to anyone considering renting through them: be cautious before paying any application fees, and make sure any statements about pricing flexibility are clearly confirmed in writing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend working with this team.

Unprofessional Staff and Incorrect Charges…read more My experience with Bryson at Truedoor Property Management was extremely disappointing. He was unprofessional, dismissive, and did not listen. I had to repeat myself several times before he finally understood, and even then he still got things wrong. He acted as though he was above me, even though my rental is what pays his commission. It was also obvious that he was very new. He even misidentified the family room and asked me, "What is this, a dining room?" -- even though the actual dining room was on the other side of the kitchen. The showing agent repeatedly left the back door unlocked on five separate occasions, forcing me to drive four hours round-trip each time just to secure my own property -- even after I repeatedly told Bryson that the door had been left unlocked. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable. Bryson did not know how to operate the back door -- even though the instructions were right next to the handle. Instead of contacting me or reading the directions, he told the tenant the door was broken. Rather than admitting his mistake, he sent maintenance out, and I was charged for their visit, even though the issue was caused entirely by his lack of basic knowledge. He also failed to communicate any letters or inquiries from potential new tenants, leaving me completely uninformed -- which is unacceptable for someone responsible for managing my property. The bathrooms and showers were brand new, yet Bryson claimed they needed repairs. One shower only needed the seal removed, and the other simply needed to be propped slightly open. These were not repairs -- just basic usage details -- yet I was billed due to incorrect assumptions and misinformation on Bryson's part. I also emailed Kyle, one of the owners, explaining all of these issues, and he never responded. Instead of addressing the situation, they continued charging me the fees and then sent me a bill, as if nothing had happened. This lack of accountability from management made the entire experience even worse. Overall, I was charged for issues that resulted solely from Bryson's inexperience, lack of communication, and repeated negligence, not from any actual problems with the property. The entire experience was unprofessional, unnecessary, and unacceptable.
