Since our family was new to the area, we decided to rent a house. After agonizing pain looking at house after another, I finally decided to rent a house in Yorba Linda. Travis was the agent taking care of the property. The move in process was flawless and Travis was more than helpful for all the information we needed. Signing the papers and other routine process were done at no time. Travis even stopped by at my office to pick up documents to make the whole thing easier. I was very confident that Travis was working for me, not working for the landlord itself. During 3 years of living in the new house, we had few issues as usual. However, the difference that I would like to mention is Travis is not a typical realtor that works only during the work hours. Travis was the person that we could count on any time, any day. When we had a power outage at night, he found a person to come to the house right a way in the middle of the night. He sent someone right away when our garbage disposal broke and the kitchen was flooded. He did not care about what day, time of the incident. He was always there to help us and we always counted on him. It never stopped. It is about his work ethics. I am an ex executive from a fortune 50 company and know when dealing with people. Our family moved country to country, state to state very often and know the difference between a mediocre property manager and a great realtor, property manager and a friend. Travis was on our side until the very end when we finally decided to purchase a house and moved out. He worked for us and took care of us until the very end. I would like to recommend BizWise Realty in any case for anyone. You will not be disappointed. Travis will always be there when you need him. Responsibility, Professionalism and willing to work with you are the only few of Travis' stand out points to mention. I would like many people to see my recommendation and trust Travis. 0 star I strongly do…read morenot recommend renting from Charles Lee at 1299 W 37th Dr. I moved into this property last August as a transfer student at USC. Charles originally reached out to me on Facebook and encouraged me to rent from him partly because we are both from Hong Kong. At first, I thought that shared background meant I could trust him more. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be very disappointing and stressful. In my experience, Charles did not keep his promises. When something became inconvenient, he would avoid responding, make excuses, or act like he did not remember what had been agreed on. The house had a serious hygiene and insect problem. The kitchen and common areas had flies and mosquitoes, and I brought this up many times. He repeatedly said he would take care of it, but nothing meaningful was done. Instead, he questioned whether I simply had "high hygiene standards." The problem affected the food I kept in the kitchen, and I became sick multiple times while living there. After my lease ended, communication was also very difficult. My roommates and I contacted him multiple times about the security deposit, but he often did not respond. When he did respond, he acted annoyed or gave excuses, including saying he was "on a cruise." After we reminded him multiple times that California landlords have 21 days after move-out to return a security deposit or provide an itemized deduction statement, he returned the deposit only one day before the 21-day deadline. The most upsetting incident happened around March. Before I moved in, Charles verbally told me that the bathroom arrangement would be with another male tenant. Later, he asked me to move to a different bathroom because he wanted to move in a woman who did not want to share a bathroom with a guy. I refused because that was not what I had been promised. After that, his attitude toward me became noticeably more hostile. Soon after, he told me to move my belongings from the living room into my bedroom. These were normal personal items like a bike helmet, basic maintenance tools, and football cleats. I was only using a small part of the living room, and my roommates did not have any issue with it. I told him I would move everything, but that week I had a midterm and then went home for Lunar New Year, so I could not do it immediately. When I came back on Monday, I found my personal belongings placed outside at the front of the house. Charles had told the housekeepers to throw away my things. If I had arrived just a few minutes later, my belongings could have ended up in the dumpster. The housekeepers apologized to me and told me Charles had said those items were trash. When I confronted Charles, he acknowledged that he knew they were my belongings. I have photos, messages, and documentation of what happened. I am writing this review so other USC students, transfer students, and students looking for housing near campus can be careful. Based on my experience, I would not rent from Charles Lee again and would not recommend this property to anyone.

Low and behold they sent us an offer....the offer listed Bill as the buyers realtor as well. Bill did not ask our permission to do so, we discovered this when the offer was emailed to us. We told him this was unethical and after back and forth discussions, my husband accepted the offer. Later we were told by Walt , Bill had to have the Buyer agreement also in order to sell our house. We don't how many offers Bill turned down because of a buyer having their own realtor. Bill and his assistant, Jeri consider us Family... There is so much more that they have done that was unethical, but we will save that for the Realtors Licensing Board. I suggest you do not use them under ANY circumstances.

Tried to bill beyond industry standards claiming it took "hours" to conduct business that takes an average of one hour . One such claim was 20+ hours to get two vendor bids and one of those was via email. It was a simple project that the average person could obtain in under an hour with two emails and or two phone calls. Instead of collaborating or working towards solutions, this company came up with excuses and made no attempts to work things out. Friendly representatives but didn't provide what was paid for and despite ample opportunities made zero attempts to make things right.

That being said you mentioning that your only regret is that our new landlord didn't call you and check when we moved is ridiculous considering you managed the property for a whole 6 months out of the 12 years we lived there being "exceptional" (per the owners email correspondence) tenants. There were no issues with our tenancy except for the fact the owners didn't know how to communicate that they wanted to raise the rent. However all they needed to do was let us know. We paid on time every month and even paid for services and repairs that the owner was 100% responsible for. Fortunately for us, we didn't need your recommendation when we moved as we now currently own. As for my review of your company it's very clear you left that house vacant for over 5 months after we left which makes it obvious the owners lost significant money because of your poor management. You are a very rude individual to tenants and I would recommend anyone seeking property management to look elsewhere as it looks as if you bought into the franchise rather recently with little to no property management experience.

Month after month of calls and texts asking us when are we gonna move? We could have just ignore it because the contract was already signed and there isn't anything they can do but thinking about it clearly, it's certain that they will I'll end the agreement once the contract ended so we have decided if we were going to pay that much to rent and be harassed, might as well pay for our own property. Months we searched but the results was very disappointing. The minute I thought the search is over, we lost to a cash offer. Our first agent was a douche, No need to put out any name but he was non responsive so we started searching ourselves. We walked into an open house one Saturday and there was David Pham at National Brokers. Typical Asian male, I didn't talk to him much but he made a good impression with my boyfriend. David was different and he wasn't a real estate agent to us, more of a friend because he took his time to learn about our situations. We made the offer right away but at the end, lost to another cash deal, not a big surprise that we lost the house but this time around, we gained a friend. David Pham worked very hard for us, I knew that very well. Our work schedules are very hectic so just being able to go see houses was an issue. But David, never a complaint. He just smiled and it does not matter what time of the day or day of the week, he was always ready and on time. I believe he waited for us every time we meet. But never a sign of agitation but a smile. Sometimes he would go in casual clothes without his hair done, some people may find that unprofessional, but We actually felt very warm and closer towards him more like a brother. Houses denied us, we rejected I don't even know how many houses. We are particularly difficult and the process of it all was absolutely dreadful and took a toll downhill for us and we were at the verge of calling it quits. Quit from the house, and from our relationship because of so many disagreements. But my boyfriend continued working with David and they came across a house for which was way over our initial offering price that 99.9% denial would be expected, they worked and kept at it with the listing agent & homeowner for god knows how long until one day as I was ready to pack because deadline was up to return the house, he told me we are entering escrow. Yikes, escrow.. the paperwork, the never ending requests for back up documents. I thought house hunting was stressful, it was just a teaser of what I call a wanted nightmare. I was not prepared for the sleepless nights, bad indigestion, constant worry, and extreme anxiety that continuously on the rise whenever my phone rang. Our loan ran into a problem, Ivy started working her magic with the underwriters while David negotiated to request an extension due to the delay in funding. The day finally came when David group texted us while both of us were at work to inform that the loan just got funded and escrow is officially closed. I cried, at work... I laughed, then I cried, then I laugh again. It was the most relieving feeling ever just because we finally have a place of our own and the kids to call home, one big happy family... and we have to thanked David & Ivy for the work that they have done. He happened to be the listing agent of a property I was interested in that was located in Placentia. I wasn't working with an agent so Matt showed me the property. Although somewhat unusual, I decided to have him represent me in tendering an offer. I already had four other recently purchased properties under my belt and didn't feel there was anything too concerning about Matt representing the seller and buyer since I was immediately struck by his candor and demeanor. Full disclosure: every participant was made aware of the situation and possibility of a conflict of interest. Matt was very diligent and maintained his fiduciary duty in communicating extremely fair and ethical offers, counter-offers, requests etc. between me and the seller. Everyone was satisfied with the results of the transaction. There were concessions made on both sides - appliances, minor repairs, rent-back etc. all worked out for everyone. Extremely equitable. Fast forward to September 2022...I had a nice townhome in San Diego in the +$1M range that I wanted to sell and use the equity to downsize somewhat. My wife, daughter and I were so impressed with Matt and Major League Properties back in 2020 that we asked him whether he would handle the listing of the San Diego property. I realize most of Matt's listings are not normally that far South of his "stomping grounds" in the Yorba Linda/Placentia area. However, Matt obliged us and took on the listing. Let me tell you - it was not a fast and easy sale. We needed to squeeze as much out of that property as we could. At the time, interest rates started climbing. Sales weren't occurring as quickly as before when there were bidding wars on nice properties. Folks were looking for quick cash deals as property prices dipped. Matt and Team continued to schedule open houses and not once pressured us to take low ball cash offers or cut the selling price. When we did adjust the selling price, it was on our terms and Matt was wholeheartedly supportive. In the end we got close to what we were hoping for but it took 9 months on the market because we weren't in a hurry and were rather stubborn about the selling price. To say Matt and his Team have perseverance and tenacity is an understatement. I've had enough experience with Realtors to experience impatience and dare I say, greed. Used car salesman mentalities don't fly with me. Top shelf marketing, effort and professionalism is all I've ever experienced with Matt and Major League Properties. Today, we're shopping for the "replacement" property from the proceeds of the San Diego sale. Matt and his Team are quick and tireless allies as we comb through properties from Oceanside to Temecula. It doesn't matter if the property is not close to Matt's base of operations. He makes the calls and shows up to get us into properties we want to see. We need to move quickly and Matt makes sure other Team members help us when he's out or away, which is rare. Both Nel and Desiree have shown up at properties when Matt couldn't be there. They were punctual, informative and patient with us during the property viewings. As you can probably surmise by now, moving forward with ANY real estate deals, my family and I are only going to use Matt and Major League Properties. I can't think of any area of mediocrity to criticize. I know I can rely on Matt and his Team to provide their strong commitment to my success - no matter which side of the deal I'm on. I say that from experience. You can too!
