We finally got to try this place on Saturday morning around the time the restaurant was opening - the place is always packed throughout the day so I would recommend eating earlier in the morning if you don't want to wait around. The lines wrap around the area with easily 15-20 people waiting otherwise.
Upon ordering we waited about 10 or so minutes for the food to be prepared - I think this is considered a bit slow so if you are in a rush or see a long line, be ready to accept a longer wait time - this is not prepapred as fast food like other restaurants at this food court. Each portion is made to order and cooked infront of you.
I tried the creamy tuscan chicken pasta, it was delicious - lots of toppings, enough for each bite, great balance of flavors. Loved the sun dried tomatoes and creaminess. The pasta itself was cooked perfect, satisfying bite.
My only complaint is the type of container that is used, the taller narrower bowls keep your food extremely hot and despite this being a large portion, the narrow shape is awkward to share with someone. I would prefer a regular, shorter wider bowl to fit the same amount and if you're sitting infront of someone and would like to eat from the same bowl, it is easier to grab.
As this location is relatively new and very popular, I'll be coming back once the hype dies down - for pricing and portion it was very fair and worth it though. If you love pasta, you'll love Lulu's! read more
