I think it miggt be the best place on lauderdale beach. Great views. Fun people and music mann did we have a blast here! See you this summer again!

Cuban sandwich with fries

Oh boy. This restaurant seems to rely too much on it's very nice location with great views. We sat at a table with a perfect view of the ocean. It was breezy and slightly rainy which was perfect for me. We ordered beers with jello shots, for old time's sake.. I could not drink the jello shot out of the paper cup it came in. It was gross. The cup was almost falling apart. The beer was nice and cold. The conch fritter appetizer was so good. I loved them. Served crispy and hot. Delicious. I ordered a mahi sandwich and got a house salad instead of the fries. I recommend not getting the fries. I took two and they are not good. No flavor at all. My salad was ok. My mahi sandwich was just bad. Nothing exactly wrong with the fish, the coating was flavorless. I just took a few bites The other two seemed to like their Cuban sandwiches. Danny was our server. He is so, so nice. I would only come back for the conch fritters. For the cost, there are several better and even less expensive than this place.

Chicken quesadilla

Great, funky spot on the beach. Food much better than we expected. Quesadilla was better than I've had in a long time and you could tell the chicken fingers were made in the kitchen, not just taken out of the freezer. Our waiter Sam was great.

Found this restaurant in the mall complex by our beach towera Marriott hotel room. Loved the signage coming in. Very entertaining to read. We bee lined for the window seat to enjoy the he Atlantic ocean. The high top and open seating felt we were in a wind tunnel. Didn't mind. Marie was our waitress and greeted us kindly. She was professional, fun, and knowledgeable. We ordered the gator bites, a rum and coke, spicy watermelon margarita and the white peach sangria. Everything was delicious and came to the table quick. Great atmosphere, lots of TVs and good music.

Mozzarella

The hand breaded mozzarella triangles were golden brown, crispy and served with a tasty marinara dipping sauce. The drinks were cold and refreshing. The service was ok. After our meal was served, we didn't see the waitress again until we asked for the check. The view of Fort Lauderdale beach with the waves breaking on the shore that we could observe from our table was relaxing.

great place to watch games We went for dinner.... What do you expense it's a Louisiana twist on bar food. It was good but def greasy for the fried pickles. The fish tacos were tasty and would get it again.

Second stop on our unsanctioned Fort Lauderdale Strip Pub Crawl at the Beach Place which hosts an array of eateries, bars and beachy shops. All the big restaurant/bars here have unobstructed views of the beautiful Ft Laud beach - breathtakingly amazing, movie worthy. We enter and immediately thought, "This is a fun fun fun place". There were two tables of Beer Pong, darts and a Wall Hook Game. This would be a wild spring break location for college kids for sure. The decor was hardcore surf and beach theme and a large tiki hut style center bar and a back area smaller bar. Met with the bartender, Gabby, who explained the happy hour deals. She recommended the coveted frozen strawberry/pina colada for $8.00, which we happily wanted. She placed the drink in front of my wife, who quickly drooled, and stabbed a mini umbrella into the red cherry next to the pineapple wedge and the red/white oversized straw (the dang paper kind that gets soggy quick). This two flavored frozen drink was strong and sweet. You can add $5.00 for an extra floater shot but Gabby showed us the well liquor bottle and it was not a known brand so we skipped it. Sat across from the bar at a table with crazy views of the beach while sipping the drink and the sea breeze blowing my wife's hair into her face. We placed a few rounds of the Wall Hook Game which the wife won. The manager came over a few times to check on our happiness. The had a decent selection of Lulu Bait Shack shirts for sale in their kiosk. The men's bathroom was clean.

It started out not great. They sat us right away not very busy took 20 minutes for someone to take drink order. After that service was fine. Had conch fritters and shrimp tacos. Drinks were very good. And good music.

Walked up the stairs to the second floor of Beach Place at the Fort Lauderdale beach. A cool ocean breeze was blowing my hair all over the place. Spoke with the bartender and ordered a delish strawberry pina colada for $8 during happy hour. Brought my drink to a side table overlooking the beautiful beach and ocean. The decorations were a fun surf theme. It was not busy at all but will return at night to check it out.

Baja shrimp tacos

If you're in the area, Lulu's Bait Shack is an absolute must. I ended up going every single day during my week-long trip--and yes, I even bought a shirt to remember it! The Baja shrimp tacos are seriously some of the best I've ever had--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The drinks were just as impressive: I tried several different ones over the week and didn't have a single complaint. The view is unbeatable. Located right on the beach a couple of stories up, you get an incredible ocean view while enjoying your food and drinks. The vibe is fun and relaxed, and the service was consistently great throughout the week. Great view, amazing food, and friendly service--what more could you ask for?

The service was amazing and the fried food was fresh and crispy!!! Best seafood place with a bar on the beach hands down.

Viktor H.

First & foremost- yes this is in tourism central. We usually end up in the area when family is in town for lunch after the "beach day." That stated, the shrimp tacos and Mahi sandwich are always pretty good. The staff is nice and we keep going back every spring break and thanksgiving visits from our mother family. So this time, sister ordered the burger and, WOW, it was really good! It was two patties that were perfectly charred and you could taste that open flame. Is it a destination place for locals? Not (as in a hard no for me) but I will be back over spring break and will order my very own burger vs. tasting hers! Side notes- mom enjoyed the Thai salad and neice always gets the chicken Cesar. Just get the dressing on the side and they are heavy handed! Then there is the view...!

The view from the patio!

We had amazing dinner dates there, on a few occasions while we were still just dating, and I'll never forget those nights thanks to the Restaurant being so perfect! lol For reference we are a couple in our late 20's/30's) & we don't work for or know anyone affiliated with the restaurant...We just really love it lol Review: The views and vibes and just the entire atmosphere was everything! I highly recommend getting a table outside near the water if one is available. It's such a calmer and more romantic yet fun and beautiful experience when you're seated at the tables near the water. The location of them are perfect for date nights or special occasions!! Especially when you go during sunset! Overall it's just a place with a long wait and is a very enjoyable delicious time. The wait is so worth it! (They don't take reservations) The place had a bunch of great relaxing yet lively yet romantic type of vibes and you're surrounded by happy people- including the employees (atleast it seems so) and THE FOOD is just. I don't have the words. I mean, basically everything we've ever ordered at this restaurant has had us in shock after taking the first bites. Like even down to the French fries being yum! The lobster siracha mac and cheese (not sure what it's called on menu) is just my favorite and I crave it everyday if my life including right now as I write this Great staff also. Pricier than a typical restaurant but worth it because it's not a typical restaurant and it's not typical-tasting food.

It's very busy and loud there, though, if you are eating indoors at the bar like I was. The bartenders and barbacks are very busy. The restaurant is known for something called "Scoobies" which per Google Gemini are "crab claws (traditionally blue crab or snow crab) that have been partially de-shelled--leaving just the "pincher" as a handle--and sautéed in a rich sauce of garlic, butter, and olive oil with crushed red pepper and scallions." I didn't get the Scoobies because I was apprehensive about how difficult they would be to eat. My dishes were fried oysters, fish tacos, and coconut shrimp platter. They were all fine, but unremarkable. The platter comes with fries and cole slaw as listed, but when I said to the bartender that I didn't need cole slaw, just extra fries, he offered/clarified that I could substitute another side instead, so I went with broccoli. I did notice that there were many flies flying around when my shrimp platter came out. One of the other bartenders put out a plate of hot sauce to repel the flies, which helped. The place is famous and sells its own merchandise like shirts and hats. It is not located near other restaurants, and you'll have to walk fifteen minutes or get an Uber if you are discouraged by the waiting time. The people dining here look like they are pretty well off and are able to enjoy life.

We were…read morelucky enough to score a last-minute reservation, and I'm so glad we did because this place is SUCH a vibe. Between the city and ocean views, the sexy atmosphere, the DJ playing all the best hits, and the indoor/outdoor seating, it instantly gave upscale date night and girls' night energy. Definitely a 21+ crowd and reservation-worthy. We sat outside overlooking the views, and from the moment we arrived, Barbie (I think her name was Barbara/Barbie) was such a sweet and welcoming hostess. Our server was also amazing she was a redhead (forgot her name but shoutout to the "redhead sisters" lol). We started with the short rib empanadas, which were DELICIOUS and came with onions and peppers that added so much flavor. We also had the shrimp two ways coconut fried shrimp and ceviche style. The coconut flavor wasn't super noticeable, but overall still really good. Black Angus Filet medium. WOW. Easily the best thing we ordered. It came with asparagus, mashed potatoes, and this incredible black mushroom sauce that tied everything together perfectly. Cooked beautifully and packed with flavor. Honestly, I'm still thinking about it. My mom ordered the spice crusted salmon salad and absolutely loved it. We also tried the Alla vodka... it was okay for us personally. My cousin and I are huge Italian food lovers, so we've definitely had better, but my moms enjoyed it. Drinks were also on point, we had two dirty martinis, aunt had a margarita, and mom had a white wine. While enjoying the music and rooftop atmosphere. They even have indoor and outdoor bar seating plus bathroom attendants, which added to the upscale experience.

Make reservations, since there is a limited number of first-come first serve seats at the bar and no reserved tables left on a Friday night. Menu is tapas style and features unique, interesting cocktails with special effects. Third visit, We got a great view of the ocean next to the glass wall this time. We had the: - empanadas (2) - Waygu dumplings - good but small - Shrimp Two Ways - smaller, spicy mayo shrimp, fries - Make Your Own Margarita - you pick the juice, tequila, rim (salt vs sugar) First and 2nd visits: We had a Crystal Clear Colada which had pineapple rum and Ron Zacapa Rum and came had dry ice smoke. To make it clear, is an almost add day effort by the bartender. It was quite good and different from the white pina coladas. We enjoyed talking with Henri and the bartending service of Matthew. We at first had looked around for a seat at the bar and were on our way out after not finding one inside or outside, and we appreciated Mathew coming after us to let us know some seats just opened up. We made reservations and came back the next night where we had a corner table near the plants and overlooking the Four Seasons hotel and Residences next door. My husband had the charcuterie platter for his dinner while the Coconut Shrimp was more than enough for me. In addition to the fried shrimp, there were a whole bowl full of large chunks of shrimp in a creamy sauce. Very good! To enter, you need to enter through the roped off elevator in the Hilton lobby.

The space is a cute spot with island-style décor and high ceilings. We were promptly greeted by our server, a very kind and soft-spoken young woman. However, it didn't seem like the staff was trained to highlight featured dishes or recommend drinks, as we were left to read the menu on our own and ask for suggestions. The calamari could have been crunchier and was not served with any sauce, so we had to request a dipping option. The Hawaiian rice sounded promising and was good, but it lacked the expected sweet-and-savory balance. The Argentinian milanesa was overcooked and very greasy. Without trying to be rude, I have to say the grilled carrots were the highlight of the night. Best of luck!
