They are NOT the Lululemon they used to be. The store layout, employees, employee store staffing, store telephone contacting and merchandise are 1000% different than what it was before. The brand doesn't listen to consumers when it comes to deliverables of merch coming in basics colors like: BLACK, WHITE, NAVY, GREY and RED. The color selection now is sherbets for spring but try and find shorts w/ tees and tanks in basics? You can't! Try calling the store and getting a live person to pick up? You won't! On a positive note: they still hem their overly long items for FREE! So I guess they are fine with allowing Vuori and Alo to take over their share of the market since they seem to be backing out of it through these cost cutting measures? It's been over a decade since I've updated this review, so cute how much you change in that amount of time. Hand to God you can check my bank account records I used to keep the electricity on here. Not something I'm proud of, but I'd walk down daily to shop. That changed A LOT over the past eleven years. I'd be lying to say I've been a customer much at all for years but this past weekend bff (of all ppl) commented on how much he liked the new color in the window. I called it Bruin blue to immediately be corrected and told Bruin blue has a very specific color code and this isn't it. Ok, but it's close ;) The UCLA Bruins colors HEX codes are #2D68C4 for blue and #F2A900 for gold, in case you felt like learning something new today. His birthday was coming up so I walked down to pick up a pair of running shorts for him. I wanted the 5inch inseam but they only had his size in the 7inch inseam so I snagged those. I totes forgot about my spin instructor discount (25%off) which is hella sweet (if you teach group fitness classes, I def recommend signing up) and I was told they do free alterations. I have enough athletic wear to never repeat a piece for about two years straight so I don't have a strong need to shop here. It's also no longer my fav brand as it was when I was much younger. The shorts are great for my bestie! He likes them. The quality of the line is still quite nice. I've biked tens of thousands of miles in this gear, ran dozens and dozens of races, summit countless mountains in lulu gear. The employees here are really nice! Much nicer than other Lululemon stores I've been to. I came on a Friday night to get a present for my best friend. The employees at the checkout were so kind and patient and wrapped the sweatshirt I chose for her up in tissue paper, even including some for the bag as well. I know it's a small gesture, but they totally could have just given me a gift receipt and called it a day. My recent purchase of the ABC Pants was a complete letdown. The sizing was way off. I own several pairs of Lululemon pants in the same size, and this one fit like it was at least two sizes smaller. I even brought another pair I own to the store to show the difference. We compared it side by side with both my own pair and another in-store item of the same size. It was obvious to everyone, including the store staff, that the pair I received was defective. What made things worse was how Lululemon handled it. I agreed to exchange it, but they tried to charge me the price difference because I had bought mine on sale ((just 20 percent off, not some crazy deal). That is absurd! I should not have to pay more to replace an item that never should have passed quality control. When I asked for a refund, they said the best they could offer was store credit. That is unacceptable. Selling a defective product and refusing to issue a proper refund is not just poor customer service. It shows a lack of accountability and respect. I expected much better from a premium brand. This experience seriously damaged my trust in Lululemon and how they treat their customers when something goes wrong. read more

Seriously the best customer service, you just don't get service like this anymore. It was my first time in a lululemon. I don't usually work out so I don't own much workout clothes lol. However, I've gained some weight recently and have noticed some of the cheaper brands tend to fold on me in the stomach area or are uncomfortable to do yoga in. I was nervous going into lululemon because they don't have the normal Small, Medium, Large sizing and I had no idea what size to start at. I'm a little self conscious from the weight gain and the staff were so helpful and I found my perfect size! Theresa, Brittany, Lauren, Katherine, and Francisco just provided the best customer service that I've ever had at any retail establishment. They were friendly without being over-hovering, they know their products, they gave great suggestions, found my size in the style I was looking for, and were all-around kind, professional, upbeat, and fun. I came in sad and depressed because I have an autoimmune disorder that's flaring right now. I'm leaving happy and hopeful, with a smile on my face. I'm also leaving with a GORGEOUS white workout skirt with built-in shorts and two pairs of shorts for my hubby as a gift. Plus: Francisco helped me download the free 30-day trial of the Mirror app! He gave me a general overview of it, and I'm looking forward to a month of free home workouts! Finally, I took these pants out of the bag and used them, but I noticed that there was a hole on the side of the pocket of these pants because of the inappropriate design. It is very ugly and in a bad shape, and no matter what I do, it does not show itself well on the body, as a result, I called the exchange department, and each time they said with different excuses that the problem is not the pants and that I have a problem, however, I am satisfied. Lululemon store with easy parking. I visit several local Lululemon stores on a weekly basis. This one is on of my favorites. It's located on a busy but convenient Boulevard with a huge free parking lot (for local stores) to the rear. It also has a small dedicated lot which fits about 5 cars. The store seems bigger than the Lululemon shop in the Topanga Mall and slightly bigger the Valencia store. I could be wrong... but it's always decently stocked. If they don't have an item in store, they can have it shipped to you or the store from another store. Staff at this shop is amazing! Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. The store was also neat and well- organized. Another bonus... gender specific restrooms. read more

I wanted to give an updated review of the studio city store and a big thank you to Brittany who has worked at this location for 4 years. She went over and beyond to be helpful ! To educate me on the different fabric fittings and what pants were meant for each sport. I never knew there was a pant for hiking, one for yoga and one for even doing a marathon!! And I've owned at least a dozen pair of lulu's. Nobody has ever explained to me the difference of the fabric material and why they work better with one sport over the other. One of the locations with the best customer service I've received at lululemon. I always get greeted when I enter, and there is always someone to help. All the associates are always very helpful and friendly. I have gone here several times, both to shop and to get something fixed. I have gotten a hole fixed, pants hemmed, and new drawstrings on a jacket. They take my stuff with no problem and give about 2 weeks and call to let me know when it's done. I am a lululemon addict!! So I have been to many. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because it's a lot smaller than many I've been to and they hardly ever have what I'm looking for. I like getting different colors of yoga pants and they always have the popular black of course. The sale section is also small, but again, I'm comparing to places like Santa Monica, Melrose and Glendale. Other than that, this location is great! Parking is in the back and it's in a plaza so there is plenty of space! It is located near the thrift store.
