Super happy Lululemon finally opened a real store in London. I like to think that my email to their corporate office requested said store helped push this process along.
I've been to the store twice. Both for purchases made by my husband while visiting the US that had gone wrong. This, friends, it one very cool thing about Lululemon - you can exchange and/or return items purchased in other countries in any of their stores. Don't like the color your husband picked out for you? Just take that bad boy to the store in London and they'll do an even exchange. No questions asked. Need a different size? No problemo.
My first visit was regarding a pair of pants/trousers. They were too long, so I popped into the store to see if they could be shortened. Sadly, due to the drawstring bottom, I'd lose the drawstring if they shortened them. So, they had to be sent back with my husband to the US to be returned.
My second visit was regarding a pair of capris. My husband bought a pair of capris for me during a recent trip to the US. Since I already had a pair of said capris, I knew they would fit. I was so excited upon his return to London that I cut off the tags and jumped in them and was about to make my way to the gym when I noticed a tiny hold in the delicate mesh on the back of the knee. I had inspected the capris prior to cutting the tags off but I got punk'd because the tiny hole was only visible after the mesh had expanded around my calf. UH OH, I thought!
This tiny hole turned out to be a non-issue. I brought the pair of capris to the store and explained the above and she was happy to exchange my pair for a non-defective pair. OH JOY! I was so seriously happy that she was so nice and accommodating, I could have hugged her and, you know what? She probably would have hugged me back because that's how friendly Lululemon peeps are.
As a side note, the sizes on the tags are UK sizes, however, the sizes painted on the clothing (usually in the inside of a pocket or waistband) are US/Canadian sizes. read more
