On this visit there was something in the air. Everyone that we encountered from the staff at the several establishments we visited, to the fellow customers were friendly and had a great attitude and seemed to really be in the holiday spirit. We caught a movie at the regal theater located inside the casino. We ate dinner at Shake shack. Purchased some after dinner sweets at Sees candy and did a some shopping at Bath & body Works. It's a great property located in a nice part of town that offers several eateries, shops as well as the Green Valley Casino, of course.

All the staff people were pleasant and helpful. The check-out line was long, but the cashiers were quick and efficient. More so than a lot of other stores. I was happily surprised. Training must be excellent here. Multiple thumbs up to them! There is ample parking and access is easy. Well, when I arrived home, I found I had picked up the wrong size shirts, so I returned. I popped in here for the free Kohl's Cash event and while I only scored a free $5, I still found a couple things to spend it on (and then some). Staff on both floors were friendly, and there were deals to be had. But it was odd to see large chunks of the salesfloor devoid of any merchandise. With the clearance racks unorganized and crammed full, why you wouldn't spread things out more to make it easier to look at the racks and use up the empty space is beyond me.

I can never seem to find shoes in my size but this time I got really lucky and they were also on sale so double lucky. I also grabbed a new plastic container for my electrolyte drinks. I wasn't approached by any staff and didn't really see anyone around but the guy who checked me out was very friendly.

And the answer is...slightly. The store is definitely in better shape and much more organized. But while the ones in Wisconsin were cluttered and ramshackle, this location is sparse, with some shelves nearly empty. Also disappointing was that some marked down merchandise such as tumblers were clearly defective and should have been disposed of instead of marked down. All that being said, I did get a great deal on a paper towel holder (despite HomeGoods having zero such items at their location) and a cup for my mom. I'm not likely to run out and stop here again but if I was in the area with time to kill, I might consider it.

First off, the QR code for the waitlist is placed in the middle of the store with no clear direction. If you don't already know it's there, you'd have no idea you're supposed to check in. We stood around for about 10 minutes before even realizing there was a system. After we finally scanned in, a gentleman came over to help us but didn't ask about our place in line or acknowledge the waitlist at all. He actually started helping us first, but once he realized other people had been waiting longer, his entire demeanor changed. It immediately felt like he didn't want to help us anymore and started rushing through everything. When it came to my son's suit, he wasn't even going to have him try anything on to check the fit or size. That was really frustrating--this is exactly why we came in. When I asked if my son could try things on, he casually responded with, "if you want to, but you don't have to," which made no sense. We came in specifically to TRY ON and order suits. The same issue happened with my partner, who wanted to try on a tux just to see how it would look. Again, it felt like pulling teeth to get any help. There was no effort to make the experience easy, helpful, or even enjoyable. I ended up walking out completely frustrated. For such an important event like a wedding, I expected a much better level of service and attention.
