We have been buying leggings, jackets and shorts for our daughter and never had a quality issue until now. The leggings bought at the end of Sept 2024 had their seam broke at the middle of Nov 2024. I checked their website and it says they have 1 year warranty and they can replace or repair them. We went to the store and were told that according to the hidden stamp the leggings were manufactured more than 2 years ago so the warranty does not apply. Their quality promise is a joke! Before paying for something you better ask when it was manufactured. read more

selection is terrible, 9 times outta 10 they don't have what you want but they'll always offer to order it for you in 3-4 days even if another location has plenty in stock, just go to any other location. read more

Didn't notice that this Lulu existed near my hood. Well walking from Eau Claire to here isn't too bad. So came in to see what they have. The store is definitely smaller than the other lulu that you find at say Chinook. Overall, it has most of the popular items. Prices are the same as any other Lulu. You walk in the staff here let you do your own thing. So its nice to be ignored. I mean I just don't like staff following me around the store and ask if I need help. Store is a bit cram that is for sure. read more

I purchased a duffel bag here as the salesperson insisted I could use it as a "personal item" on the plane in addition to my carry-on. My airline friend said otherwise. So I went on my trip and went to the store to return the bag a couple days after arriving home. I was 3 days past the 30 day return policy, the bag is clearly brand new with tags attached, and I'm clearly tanned (it's obvious I'm not lying about having been on vacation) The girl at the till said she wouldn't be able to take it back because of their "policy". Saying if she does it once she has to do it for everyone. I asked to speak to a manager... Lo and behold, she was the manager. She directed me to contact their customer service over the phone, even though I was physically in the store, product in hand, and only 3 days past my 30 day return period. The person over the phone I dealt with was super friendly and processed my return no questions asked. The downside is I have to ship it back to Lululemon, at no cost to me. I understand there are policies in place, but this is to the detriment of customer satisfaction, the environment, and even the store's bottom line. It's probably costing them $20-30 to ship this back to Vancouver, at least 3 different Lululemon reps' time, not to mention my time, stress, and gas-money. If you need any type of customer service I'd visit another one of their stores, as their own management here isn't empowered to make a tiny exception. read more

The new store is gorgeous. It's huge, well organized, and the staff is so helpful. Love that Barry's is right next door to grab a smoothie

Warning - Slightly Biased Review (that goes both ways) So my one of my bestie's Leah is the Assistant Manager - there, I've done my duty. I stopped in today to say hi to her and I noticed a few things that I really liked about the location. There's free parking in the back. For an urban retail store. Thank you. That is always what stops me from going downtown, even with Calgary's Spot the Lot $2 parking on like what, Sunday nights? There were fresh flowers on the counter - sure they're a chain store but at least they do what they can to make it their own! A little quieter - I know for a fact that the 4th Street Store does less business than the mall stores, der. But I like the quiet, the lack of 13 year olds pushing me out of the way to get to the halter tops. And also - one can only assume that they have more stock than other stores because it's not as heavily picked over. Cons: WARNING this is with lululemon in general... About 5 or 6 years ago, they began outsourcing their production to somewhere in Eastern Asia. Sure fine, everyone's doing it. But their cost savings is not reflected in their price point. lululemon's manifesto statement is "The lululemon manifesto is our "truth check" and inspiration." Well - making a killing off those 13 year old girls who push me around isn't all that truthful, non? Paying $13 and charging $110 is tough to swallow so how about truth checking yourselves, perhaps? I was in Victoria when lululemon first got going - and I didn't mind paying $100 for pants made in Vancouver. Now, I sometimes fantasize about picketing their stores on Boxing Day. read more

Frankly my customer service experience here yesterday was embarrassing. My girlfriend and I walked in and neither of us were greeted within the first 5 minutes. And then when I needed help from a staff member I approached a group of three of them standing in a circle talking. Literally made direct eye contact with two of them (with a pair of pants in my hands) and they continued to ignore me. This was to the extent that the assistant manager actually had to come over from the other side of the store to help me. I under stand that lululemon as a business is trying to represent a certain "image" with the staff they chose however the image I have been getting from them is "we don't care to help out customers" I haven't had this same experience at other locations but for the 4th street location specifically I would encourage the having a look at additional training or hiring new staff read more

Meet Twiddle Dee and Chats McGoo, best buddies with no time for you. I popped into Lulu to check out their stuff. Started looking at the sports bras and realized, I totally want/need one. Only one problem: there are a dozen varieties. Knowing I need to get the itty bitties on lock down, I have no idea which one to choose. Oh, and what do we have here, two associates that are literally ignoring me. They see me, but they pretend they don't and continue chatting. No hi, no smile, no nudding. I have no idea what was so god damn important but I'm sure it had something to do with tampons or Dancing With The Stars. I stare at them trying to get them to notice me, the customer. Nothing. Whisper whisper talk talk. I have no idea what to even try on. So, for those of you out there who are not familiar with Lulu's products. Deys ain't cheap. Those bras? Yeah, $45. 10 minutes of looking, stunned arse 1 and her buddy have moved TO THE CORNER to continue their conversation. I head to dressing room armed with shorts I found myself and a bra that may as well be a burlap sac. Alanna is nice, welcoming. In fact, Alanna is the only one who seems remotely happy to help anyone. I come out and advise her that I had no idea what I was doing and could've used some help from Chatty Cathy or Tammy Talks-A-Lot. Alanna feels awful, like you would, but it wasn't her fault. I get to counter, braless (no, no I had a bra on, it's not the 60's) and buy the shorts. Good work, Megs. Commission for you! Cashier is nice. This is not a good LuLu experience. Every other time I've ever been to a Lulu it's been "are we going to have to be Facebook friends now?" because it's such good service. I don't care if Johnny didn't text you when he said he would, or that the tuna sandwich you ate at lunch may or may not have been tuna. You can talk to your friends later, pay attention to the effing customers. If it wasn't for customers, you wouldn't be in business. read more

I get that everyone and their dog loves Lululemon wear. I get that it's made from recycled materials, is super comfortable and super trendy. But to be honest, I've only ever owned one Lululemon piece of clothing and it is a hoodie. Again, to be honest, it's not my most favourite hoodie. I find it very heavy. I'm not hating on Lululemon AT ALL, I'm just questioning it a bit because the times that I've been, the service isn't all that and personally, I can't justify spending $90 on a full sleeve shirt made from recycled milk bottles. Lululemon is a bit of a cult. You walk in and you'll find the runners and the 'yoga-doers'. The people that shop at Lululemon are always super fit and super well off. I despise that classism is a prominent part of the Lululemon shopping experience. What I do love about Lululemon however are the quotes and mantras that come on every bag. I love bouts of positivity and faith. But I'm gonna be honest: The bags aren't enough to make me want to drop a couple hundred on a couple of shirts. read more

Re: Customer service: Another Terrible Review for this Downtown Calgary Location My daughter, husband and I popped in this afternoon to pick up a backpack. All eyes were on us as we walked in, but not one of the at least 4 staff hanging around the entrance offered a greeting. In fact they just looked away and silently wandered off in separate directions to rearrange some perfectly folded gear. For a store that touts positive energy flow, it was all negative from the get go. As we shopped, there was one chick employed there in particular who just kept standing around staring at us up and down very rudely. At one point as I passed by her, both my husband and daughter say they saw her look at me, then look at another staffer and roll her eyes. Questionable behaviour for someone who has a job in a city where so many have lost theirs... My husband ended up being the last of us out of the store. That's when he finally let me know he saw the eye rolling which is what prompted him to tell the store manager about this girl's awful attitude and service. I sincerely hope the manager takes both the in-person feedback and this review seriously by holding her accountable for tacky behaviour. On a good note, the customer service that we have experienced at other stores (Canada & US) have been very positive. read more

Sometimes it feels like everybody in the world knows Lululemon. A store for yoga fanatics, they've diversified into making fashionable, comfortable clothing for just about every sport. Girls and guys seem to go crazy for it and the uplifting atmosphere of its stores and brand. Sometime ago, Lululemon's groove pant became the de rigueur uniform for lazy but fashionable university girls. I too fell into the trap (they make your butt look AMAZING. And sooo comfortable...) and have been spending too much time in Lululemon ever since. The store on 17th Ave is almost always packed, and has a more low-key design (less granola) than some of the newer ones. It focuses mainly on the clothes: the comfy sweatshirts, the clothes made from bamboo, the pants and tops for various sports and of course the yoga accessories. I find it a mixture of calming and annoying, because when the store gets really full there's not a lot of room to rub elbows. There's always good service here - the staff are helpful without being intrusive. They write your name on the door of the fitting room, and try to use it so it always feels more personalized. If you're going to pay through the nose for exorbitant fashionable yoga clothes, this is the location to do it. read more

I used to wear Lululemon as workout wear, and not gonna lie, it was really comfy. And YES it makes anyone's (or almost anyone's) butt look pretty darn good. My problem is: They don't really have a great sizing system for leg lengths... EVERTHING (pant-wise) is waaay too long for me, so I always had to get them altered. It doesn't seem to matter what size you go with, either... all I have to say is, not every size 10 has 3 foot legs... some of us just have more hip. read more

I was looking around for casual shorts I could wear for cycling and the summer in general. I found a great pair at lululemon and decided to try them on. It wasn't too busy, a weeknight, but no one would help me. They were all too busy talking to each other. I had to also help myself to the change room and get a different size. The only person who acknowledged my was the security guard. The only reason I give them two stars is because the quality of the overpriced shorts I purchased. Poor service lululemon! read more

Worst Lululemon service I have ever received. No one greeted me. Three workers at the front were talking amongst themselves. The employee at the front looked me up and down and provided no assistance. I was likely to purchase three tops but NO ONE SERVED ME. I was dressed well with my Chanel purse in tow. The two stars is for the one worker that approached me as I left. She was good. Her coworkers ruined the experience. As a Vancouverite visiting Calgary, I am used to much better service. read more

Horrible customer service. I bought a hoodie from this store yesterday and asked the cashier that I'll require a e-receipt for the product. Cashier ignored my request went ahead with the processing. After paying I asked again were you able to send me a e-receipt where she confirms its done. I checked my phone and informed her that I haven't received anything and she told me actually she never sent one to me. Lied on my face and then no body from the store apologized for the poor service. In return her question was why do I even need it? And can I scan it myself ? Worst service at this location .. read more

I'm an American hooked on lululemon! I went into this store this afternoon, it was busy, but the sales associates were super friendly. I look for the markdown items, as I have a hard time shelling out so much money on a yoga or running outfit, even though the clothes last forever! The associates were very helpful in helping me find the right size and fit. They offer a free yoga class every Saturday morning in their store! I won't be here Saturday, but I thought it was a nice customer appreciation bonus! This store is also in a cute part of town, with lots of other shops and restaurants. read more

As a full time group fitness instructor, I buy A LOT of fitness clothing. I am a lululemon regular. Although, not usually at this store. I was there on Tuesday sept 12 around noon. I was absolutely appalled by the (lack of) service, and it was not because of a staff shortage. I was in there for 15 minutes and not once did someone come greet me or see if I required assistance. In fact, it seemed as though the staff were avoiding me. But they were definitely not avoiding each other as they chated and joked around, all while watching me browse. I felt very uncomfortable and left. I cannot stress how much lululemon I buy and wear while I am teaching at least 2 classes/ daily. I also recommend a lot of clients to stores for gear, runners etc. and I actually went in to buy a new pair of runners that this particular location carries. I left without them and I absolutely refuse to go back for them. Shame on the staff working this day, for making a good customer become a non-customer. It's sad for me too but I won't be treated this way And the only way I have a voice, is to stop wearing their clothes and spending $$$ there. I have an upcoming photo shoot for a fitness article being written about my classes and you can bet that there will be not one piece of lululemon on me for the shoot. You may never know it or care, but you lost a lot of business from this visit. That's how bad it was. read more
