Tyler has been a client of mine for some time now, and when he mentioned that he was starting up an environmentally friendly car wash service I thought it sounded very difficult to deliver. For the price, I had very little to lose. I told him to give me a call or email about setting up a wash for Saturday (today) and see if he follows through... One-hour later I get this email from Tyler: Hi Dave, Just getting back to you on the car wash. We are washing cars with weekend on Saturday and Sunday. We are available anytime after 4pm on Saturday and any time after 2pm on Sunday. If these times do not work for you we will be available next week also. Thanks, Tyler To get this from a kid in high school who actually follows through on his word was a great start. but when they showed up a few minutes early to their appointment ready to go on Saturday they asked which car, I pointed it out, and off they went. They worked on it for some solid time and came back, and I paid them... Hours later I walk out to my car in the parking lot after work and it was GLOWING! I couldn't believe it! I have taken my car to Brushless Car Wash and Matt and Jeffs in Novato for years, and they haven't done as good of a job as these two young ambitious Marin boys did WITHOUT WATER! I love the drought-friendly aspect of his cleaning service and that HE COMES TO YOU. Both ridiculously convenient and reasonably priced. I docked a star here (would have only taken off a half, if that were an option), because he originally forgot to clean the rims. Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. I had never had my car detailed before because it never seemed like a necessity, but was prepping for family to visit and it hit me that the car looked pretty beat up inside and out. Not gonna lie - it felt expensive - but they did an amazing job. They were up front and explained exactly what they were going to do. They did need to see the car before confirming a final quote. They did the full internal and external job and went through every nook and cranny until it shined. I dropped the car off at 9am and picked up a little after 5pm. While I was tempted by the convenience of mobile detailers, i ultimately chose the fixed location and don't regret it.
