I called and spoke to Zach and we agreed on a price so I made my appointment to come in. It was Zach's knowledge on installing "Caliper, Rotor and Brake kits" that made me comfortable in giving him my business. When I left it was Zach's honesty and quality work that made me at ease. Installing new brake kits is a bit nerve racking since if done incorrectly can cause you to be hurt badly. Zach not only knew how to install this special kit, but did the job right. I also asked him to put aside my old calipers since I will be getting my core deposit back once I mail in. Zach not only put it aside, but placed them in the original boxes and packaged them for me. So my hands did not get dirty at all. Zach stated to me he was experienced in many aftermarket installs. After my experience here I will be looking forward to giving Zach more of my business in the future.

This past winter the brake lights would go on by themselves when it got really cold, draining the battery. My old mechanic (a German car specialist in North Bergen) was expensive and could never solve the issues. I called ECP Auto Service and arranged to leave the car overnight. I dropped off the car around 4pm and the place was packed! Despite my car failing almost every diagnostic test, the car was ready around noon the next day. They replaced the brake light switch, reset the tire pressure monitoring system and fixed the rear motion sensors. Frank, the service manager, was very professional and knowledgeable, and drove the car around himself to make sure the car ran properly. Total bill: $126. Now I know why this place is packed. ECP just earned another lifetime customer. Thanks again!

The owner Frank is a very polite person, who always makes time to interact with customers. But he is also a very busy man. Working with his specialized mechanics team, in order for them to operate like a well oiled machine. He listens very carefully to each customer as they explain what mechanical problems they are having with their vehicles. Then I watched him several times in the couple of days while at his shop. Start visually investigating what the problem could be on whatever car came through the service station. Then if necessary he would perform a diagnostics test to locate the exact problem that needed to be fixed. I then watched him and his team of mechanics with a limited but reasonable amount of time, locate the exact problem and make the necessary repairs. I was amazed, because they knew exactly what they were doing and before you knew it the car had been repaired and on its way out of the shop. Every customer was happy and extremely satisfied with the professional work and reasonable price the paid. I'm going to attribute that to them probably being on their lunch break. But after they returned my call I had no doubt I had found a keeper! I had arranged with Dennis to drop off my car in the morning and they would call me after they checked it out. First of all, they said I needed a new exhaust, new front tires and new front brakes and calipers. They said whoever had done my exhaust last (Agolia & Sons, BP) had performed a patch up job! For the nearly same price Agolia charged me for a "new exhaust", I got 2 front tires, new brakes and a new exhaust! Before I went to Fix N Fuel, I was thinking of buying a new car because I didn't feel safe in it. But now I feel I have my "baby" back. She may be over 300k miles, but she's running like a dream! The guys at Fix N Fuel were honest, reliable and for the quality of their work, charge very reasonable prices. We drove up to NJ from DC and some nuts came loose on our wheel. There was an awful wobbling sound as the wheel was absolutely loose. I checked the tire, I checked under the car, but of course I had no clue. We thought the damn car was falling apart. A mechanic that wanted to take us for a ride could have made up any story and charged us $200+ for some nonsense work. Instead, these guys told the honest truth, charged us less than $60, and had our car fixed up in 1 hour. You can't go wrong with this place!!!

This shop's negligence put my life in danger…read more I had my car towed to Park Street Automotive with clear symptoms of a critical suspension failure: a violent lurch to the left when braking, a loud rumbling, and a worsening steering wobble. They ignored these critical safety symptoms and diagnosed only a noisy exhaust. When I questioned this, they were dismissive and, after the repair, told me to "take it on the freeway for a spin and see what happens." I took it to another shop for a second opinion instead. They immediately found the real problem: the front control arm had failed and my wheel was literally about to fall off. The issue had nothing to do with the exhaust. A mechanic who fails to perform a basic safety inspection and tells you to "see what happens" with a failing front end is not someone who should ever be trusted with your vehicle or your safety.

So NJ Parkway tow truck charge me $337.75 to get towed to Honda. I thought Honda was going to say, I needed another engine like Jimmy from Kars said I did. Nope they said it was a failed timing belt. I forgot to say I asked Jimmy should I take it to Honda, he said for what, they can't do anything either but put another engine in it. Why would he lie to me, after being a great customer too? Now I had to pay for another timing belt, oil pump cause it ruined it somehow.$ 1,586.98 later, still mad.
