I'm rather disappointed with the LH Lounge. It's tiny and has a much more limited food selection than LH Lounges in FRA, MUC, LHR and even EWR. There was a long queue at the single espresso machine in the morning. Seating area is limited and the lounge gets crowded quickly. Worst part is the location. Far away from the main hall and from most gates that LH operates from, tucked in the far corner of the airport. It's also hard to find due to the poor signage at the airport. Worst part is that the lounge has no access to the International Departure level. My United flight gate was right below the lounge, yet I had to walk back to the main hall, go upstairs to passport check, walk all the way back down the corridor and pass another security check point, which took almost 30 minutes. Poor design. MUC has multi level access and passport control inside the lounge. BER doesn't even have a Senator or First section, despite the signs in front the door. It's really no improvement over the old Tegel airport lounge. read more
