This Lufthansa Business Lounge is a very nice and well design lounge. In fact, it's quite spacious. It's broken up into various rooms, all of which are very airy and inviting. To get to this lounge, you go down to the far end of Terminal One. There, you can either take the elevator or the stairs to get up to the lounge. Once inside you either show them your boarding pass or use the boarding pass on your phone to gain entry. The staff here are all very nice and inviting. In terms of the layout, there's a central room that offers some drinks. There is also a cordoned-off area divided by nice open wood slabs. In addition, there is another, semi-separate, room around the corner. The area where they offer food and drink is separated from the main lounge. There you will find a small selection of various dishes and drinks. You can eat your meal in that room if you desire as they have some counter style seating. Or, you can bring your food and drink back to the main lounge. I realize this is Germany, and everybody seemingly smokes here. I always question this fact as to why someone hasn't gotten the memo as to just how bad smoking is to the human body and how it is damaging to all of those people around the person who is smoking. The reason I say this is because, they actually have a smoking room within this lounge. And, the smoke does permeate from this area. So, my suggestion is to stay as far away from that room as possible. Overall, if you have a bit of a wait between flights, or you get to the airport a little bit early, and you're flying Business Class on Lufthansa, this is a great place to spend your time. read more

Honestly, I agree with Phillip S. This lounge is very old, dimly lit, and I didn't see over half of the food mentioned in other reviews...maybe it depends on the time if day you go? I only saw unappealing scrambled eggs and super dry hashbrowns (took one bite and could hardly swallow). I was looking forward to fruit, but even the cocktail looked sad. I'm assuming if you are in this lounge you are flying business so I'd recommend eating on the plane. I gave this lounge 2 stars instead of 1 because the coffee machine was nice and also it is nice alternative to the waiting area past security which we were warned is barren. The bathroom was clean but of course the one of 2 stalls I went in didn't lock. read more

Really. Don't bother. This is the most outdated, inadequate lounge on the planet. Even the two staff stood in front of the bar area talking while a cue formed which they promptly ignored. The only thing more disappointing than the shabbiness of the place is the appalling service. Forget it and don't expect anything at all. At least you won't be disappointed. It isn't even worth a visit as the chairs are so old and worn that I'm fairly certain you'll catch something horrible if you use them. I only gave 1 star cos I can't give none. A true shithole in the worlds least friendly airport. read more

Quite a large lounge for such a small airport. You'll find all standards you are used to in a LH lounge - though it hasn't got the newest outfit. Plus: quite large windows with view on the airfield and lots of daylight. Powerplugs exist but are well hidden (try to have a close look below the windows). read more

Like others said, it doesn't have extensive food variety as other LH lounges. Basics are the same. Same espresso machine, some wine, beer and nibbles. Oddly, one of the staple items, boiled egg and potato salad weren't available... At least it's far better than other lounges at this airport. read more

Very old lounge, never refurbished. Very limited amount of sockets to charge phone or laptops. Can get extremely crowed at times both on the business or senator lounge. Food is disgusting, generally you see that Lufthansa doesn't want to invest in a lounge they might close, but let's be faire the new airport is never going to open anytime soon. RUDE and NASTY! The mid 50s white short hair lady was RUDE and NASTY! I'm Star Allance Gold which Lufthansa and Brussels Airlines recognise. Brussels Airlines uses the Lufthansa Lounge in Berlin. Brussels Airlines canceled my flight and was having everyone rebook ed which should take an hour. He told me, since I was first in line that I should wait in the Lufthansa Lounge and come back in an hour. So, I went to the lounge and the lady described above would not allow me in with a board pass. I showed her my itinerary and Gold Card, but she didn't want to listen nor did she care. I asked her to call down to Brussels Airlines and I got the reply "Not my job"! I know it's not your job, you just work here right? So back down to Brussels Airlines I went and I explained what happen. The gentleman said all I need to do is show my itinerary and gold card, which I explained to him I did. He called Lufthansa Lounge and got it corrected, but I shouldn't have been treated in such a rude and nasty manner! This was my first and last time I will use Lufthansa! Not just because of this issue, but because they own Brussels Airlines and later Brussels Airlines after the hour told me to goto gate A10 which I did and when I got there, no one was there. I waited and waited not knowing if I was going to miss my flight and then I walked over to Lufthansa ticket window. When I got there I had explained to the lady in her 60s what was going on and she said and I quote "How is this my problem?" I told her the Brussels Airlines had rebook ed me in Lufthansa as far as I knew. She asked me what was the new confirmation code and I told her I didn't have one, that I was told to goto A10 and someone would help me but since no one was at A10 I came here. She then told me and I quote again, "You're not even our customer, I shouldn't have to work this hard." I told her that if Brussels Airlines booked me on Lufthansa and a ticket is in my name I am YOUR CUSTOMER!" She found the reservation and told me to goto A8 which I did. A very nice lady in her late 20s or early 30s was very nice and very accommodating. Needless to say 1 out of 3 people who work at Lufthansa is NOT good odds! You'll NEVER see me on Lufthansa ever again! They only reason why I gave them 1 star is because I can't go negative stars. Once in the lounge, the food was above average! read more

nice big bright rooms, the carrot-ginger soup was tasty and well tempered. its far better dan staying in the crowded little gate. you have some hotspots here too, i used the telekom wlan. also a lot of international press can be found. nice panorama view from here! its in the main building near gate zero. enjoy! ;) read more
