I've spent the last six months heavily researching different microblading permanent makeup studios, from the Bay to Sacramento to here in Chico. Ari was my makeup artist, and let me tell you she was one of the most professional kind-hearted people I've ever met!!! She took her time, she asked all the right questions, triple checked her work while communicating with me. She was so easy to talk to, felt like I've known her for years, the salon is immaculate clean, with great vibes, and I felt like I was in Laguna Beach or the Bay the energy of the place! I am beyond happy with the work she did, her beautiful work gave me confidence again and not having to draw my eyebrows in Daily sometimes twice a day. I can't wait to get my work done by her and her co-worker who also was doing a fabulous job on her client!

Jen is incredibly skilled, detail-oriented, and thoughtful about what actually looks good on your face, not just what's trendy. She took the time to talk through what I wanted, checked in during the service, and absolutely nailed the result. My lashes looked full, lifted, and gorgeous, but still soft and flattering. Beyond the technical skill, Jen herself is just a gem of a human. She creates such a calm, welcoming, comfortable space that you actually relax instead of feeling awkward or rushed. It feels like being taken care of by someone who genuinely cares about her work and her clients. If you're in Chico and even thinking about getting your lashes done, do yourself a favor and book with Jen. I mentioned at least 4 times about darker dye and how it chemically burns my scalp, but I was told all color dyes are the same and that Mychel uses all-natural products and promised it wouldn't be so dark. Well, it's exactly what happened. My scalp is on fire, and I'm having an allergic reaction to the darker dye. My haircut looks horrid and not like any of the pictures I showed for inspo. Sadly, an epic fail all the way around, and headed to urgent care. My hair has never been so short. It will take a couple of years to regrow it. Even asked afterwards when we could correct it and get the color changed. I've been ghosted..whatever

Incredibly irritated and disappointed…read more I came about 2 months ago to get a current tattoo worked on. The person I was scheduled with was unable to fit me in after I arrived for my appointment. Since I came from Oroville, I figured I might as well get a piercing so the drive wasn't a total waste. I asked for an industrial piercing on each side. After completing the first industrial, the woman placed a folded paper towel in between my ear and the bar (yes, very painful). She said something about giving it enough room to swell. Then, she kept looking from one ear to the other and then finally said I didn't have the ears for industrials. Oh my gosh. So, I asked if I should get something different on the other side and she said yes. I chose a conch. She seemed to struggle again and then put in a hoop that was too small. She left it completely open and told me that once the swelling went down, I would be able to close it. That was completely false and never fit. She removed the paper towel and said it looked great then sent me on my way. The industrial has been irritated and infected since. I finally gave up and took it out tonight so my ear can finally heal. This is ridiculous and a waste of money as well as a constant pain for the last two months. I've never written a bad review but this place is terrible. Oh, and the tattoo artist rescheduled me then told me he was behind again when I showed up later that week. Blessing in disguise. For some background, I've had about 20 piercings. I've never had an issue before.
