Stopped in for a bloody whilst in the neighborhood. Parking is a challenge. Beware. The bar was somewhat typical of an old dive bar. A couple of pool tables, slots, etc.... Wasn't crowded on a late Saturday afternoon. The bloody wasn't great. A distinct taste of rosemary and other herbs that usually don't come together in a Bloody Mary. Not to my liking. The bartender was friendly enough but on the slow side. The crowd seemed local. A couple of over served guys were shooting pool, and on the verge of being obnoxious and threatening created an edgy scene. Mainly stopped in because they advertise their Bloody Mary as world class. Some friends met up at Lucky's day after Holloween, they hang there at times, first time ive been here in years. Anyway, bar was probably a little busier than usual, so I counted on a wait to get the bartender, but 25 minutes on a couple occasions. Plus she wasn't doing anything one of the times, she was hanging I guess with her friends, and she was put out she had to serve me. I looked irritated and she made a smart remark. Ok, that's me, but whoever owns this place you will need to know this. We got our bill, and wow, im pretty sure she didn't account for most of our beers, maybe over 100 bucks, im not sure i didnt have the tab.. Are you feeling lucky? If you aren't you can still go here and have a pretty good time in Chicago Ridge. Lucky's Lounge is a newer but older feeling tavern. Been around awhile now for a few years but it seems like it could have been here decades or more. The inside and parking lot is cramped so it s not good for big groups so don't bring the whole crew just a few pals. Certainly looks like a dive bar. It looks older than it actually is. This has only been around a decade but looks like it's been forever and smells like it too. Has a typical drink and good selection of a bar. Mostly good prices. It has some popular beers on tap like Goose Island. It's $5 for a pint. The food also is typical. Lots of fried things and greasy. They also have big soft pretzels. It's $4 for a really big one. These are apparently made here but even if these are better than any of those frozen store bought pretzels. A lot of other items are meaty. They have wings and those sort of things. Has a convenient location close to the Chicago Ridge Mall. It doesn't have much room inside so don't bring in lots of people. The bar changed a lot over the years and it's nice now. The parking is terrible and I park by the mall and walk. Prices are fair but when they have live music or DJ it's so so loud lol. Slots are good and the pool players are cool. read more

My dad and I like to go out for bloody's and munchies. We were told to try Lucky's because of the great service and drinks. Not disappointed. There was a mix of younger and older patrons inside. It was clean and open. We ordered a round of bloodys and a pizza. The bartender was very nice and attentive and delivered the pizza to our table along with our 2nd round. Pizza ok, nothing extraordinary. The drinks were good and cold. A great deal too- under $30 for a Sunday morning out. We will definitely be back read more

This is a nice little bar! I went here with my friends tonight, and I must say this is probably my new favorite watering hole. Me and my friends split a bucket of beer (6 beers total), which was decently priced (if i could i would remember exact price). They have Pool which $1.25 isn't bad at all. They also have a jukebox so you can add your favorite song to the playlist to listen too. My friends ended up picking The Time Warp, and we danced to it as well! They also have good deals on cocktails during the week, and do karaoke some nights! So if you want a good intimate place to chill and have fun with friends, come here! read more

I came in tonight (1-29-20 @ 1am) after being at Miller's Ale, thought I could have a drink before I went home. As soon as come in everyone in the bar is caucasian including the bartender. As soon as I come in she asked me for my ID. (Not a problem) I gave her the paper ID I was giving at the Secretary of State. She asked to see the hole punched ID. Excuse me?! I have the paper because I didn't have an ID to begin with. Not every situation is the same! Don't ASSUME! I have never in my like ever felt racially profiled! As a Mexican American I am offended! You asked for state issued ID and I gave it to you! Bartender said that per Owner and Manager she can not take this form of ID. So then as a non plastic I'd holder makes me less? Great neighborhood place. Stopped in on a whim as another restaurant had a 75-90 min. Read great reviews. Really close to the mall. We had wanted to watch UFC fight night. They also had on the basketball and foot games. There were a few people on a Sat night around 8:30pm. It was their Christmas party. Really great drink specials. Parking on the side. I have been to a lot of bar in this area and this is a trash bar, no doubt. They need to boot off their drunk bouncer or at least ensure that they are not drinking on job. The bouncer I met was drunk. He mistook my identity and was constantly nagging me about this guy who pissed on the floor. Needless to say the bar is not diversity friendly. If you have an accent, they are not going to like you. I walked out of the bar right after I got in. If you don't mind the trashes then you will like this bar. Good things: sexy (not necessarily friendly) bar tenders, cheap pizzas and drinks. Of over 50% of the times I have been to this bar (was in walking distance by my home and hence the frequency), there always have been someone who are on the verge of fighting at the pool table or someone who comes to pick on you at the bar table for no apparent reason. They cannot stand "brown" skin in that bar...that i can tell you. Not going to this place anymore. Go to Deja Brew instead. read more

that guy andy m. is crazy i have been going to luckys lounge since it has opened . i normally do not write reviews but in this case this guy is wrong in the worst way. for starters there has never been any stero typing or any racial bias in that bar. the customers vary in race sex and age and while there is normal disagreement and politics that goes on, there is not any hate. and as far as service i challenge any one not only to find prettier , find most hospital, and nicer bartenders anywhere. luckys lounge does not deserve that review . lucckys is a good neighborhood bar where all kinds of tradesmen and retired, workers meet to unwind and have a good time . so andy m. direct your anger elsewhere just not at luckys lounge . read more
