Today, I had the chocolate haupia and it was tasty. The whipped cream on top is decorative and not too heavy, and the haupia is nice, although I do wish it were more coconutty. The service is never particularly pleasant. The workers seem unhappy to be checking people out, at least every time that I go. However, they are quick. I will give them that. Ample seating outside, although there's usually a lot of leftover trash from other people who have eaten there earlier. A good stop if you are craving pie by the slice at a reasonable price.

The outside dining is campy and I like it. Although we were seated inside, at the time we thought it was connected with a different business. We ordered a breakfast burrito for husband and I had the avocado toast and coffee. Really enjoyed my meal, nicely seasoned. The burrito was huge with country fries. This little gem will be on our list when in Haleiwa.

I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi which comes with garlic ponzu long beans and lemon caper brown butter sauce (which I requested on the side) and white rice. I am glad I decided to put the sauce on the side because the sauce was really rich and I enjoyed it more as a light dipping sauce versus drenching the plate with it. The Mahi Mahi was delicious and cooked perfectly. The kids menu here is amazing, the kids all loved their choices. I tried some of the Chicken Tenders and it was one of the best I have ever had! The staff here are wonderful! They were so attentive and checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. The food came out quickly and just as we ordered. His bare feet on the grass, manifesting a closer connection to the earth (which fortunately, he only mentioned once - we all know the someone who would've mentioned it 6 times, or so). My older sister added her coconut granola bowl was the best acai-adjacent bowl she's ever encountered, in the handful of years she's discovered such meals exist. And my breakfast burrito, aka my fav. food, was top 5 for sure. The yard chickens cruised us, hoping to get some scraps. But, we all made the most of our post-hike meal. One would think, photos would've been taken, during such a moment... but nope! Too busy enjoying family, and food, and the ultimate healthy Hawaii vibe, that this spot effortlessly provided. This is another location I try to stay away from, but had to try this place! It's located in Haleiwa town near different shops and places to eat so navigating people on foot is the part of the headache of coming here. There were lots of space for parking right next to Stonefish grill when we were there. I was so happy to see they had many healthy choices on their menu. I decided to go with the Caesar's salad and my date chose the Prime Rib poke that was sooo good! What a great combo of protein, veggies and carbs. The Prime Rib Poke consisted of the house roasted prime, flash seared and cubed with sea asparagus, fresh tomatoes , white onions and soy based dressing topped with won-tons. Hey now!

Husbands ordered the hamburger which was very juicy and had tasty add ons. It came with garlic fries that were delish. The Tapas we tried were the Spicy garlic shrimp on rice, roasted Brussel sprouts and cauliflower dish.
