Cute lil coffee shop on the north shore: Haleiwa
    Shane R.

Wanna get lucky? Feeling lucky ? Well this spot along the North Shore is a cool cozy spot for a quick pick me up. Follow the chickens across the street and stroll the beautiful untouched beach. This is a lucky charm while cruising around the majestic island of Oahu. Aloha and mahalo ~

I've seen this viral place on TikTok and finally tried it. I got a banana latte which they're known for. It was very good.

~ Cutest Spot ~ Their matcha lilikoi was pretty good, you can taste the flavor of the lilikoi rather than the matcha flavor tho. The drinks were worth the wait. There's some benches to sit and wait. The view is amazing! It's near many beaches.

This is a hidden gem café on the North Shore. It's located in a residential area about a 10-minute drive from Haleiwa Town. Street parking only. The café is very cute and surrounded by nature. I came here specifically to try their unique menu item, the Banana Barrel Latte, which I had never seen anywhere else. It's a latte with caramelized banana in it. The taste was okay, but the atmosphere really made it special. It's the perfect place to grab a drink after surfing and relax in a peaceful, natural setting. It's also dog-friendly, and the staff was very nice and welcoming.

fun find - didn't know Haleiwa extended that far out to where sharks cove was.... i was kinda wondering why we kept driving but my assumption was they were near haleiwa town but its actualy outside of it (i guess). The address listed takes you near the area, it is actually more ahead but you really have to go slow or you'll miss it completely like how i did. It's literally a hole in a bush... ha ha ha.... i literally had to make a left to housing area and i parked there cause i drove past it. Do be careful when crossing too if you do park that way, it's a very busy road. its a pretty small area with a mini lawn and bench seating. very cute vibes tho and the drinks were good and pretty average pricing. Love that it's dog friendly too!

I have been here multiple times now and it is consistently delicious! Definitely the best coffee shop on the north shore that I have been to! I would even go so far to say that this is one of my favorite coffee shops in the world. Their honey lilikoi matcha is one of the best matchas that I have ever tried! It is not overly sweet and the matcha is high quality. Their lattes are also great! Their breakfast burrito is simple but delicious, especially with the creamy green sauce they serve it with. The service is great and the drinks come out fast, no matter how busy they are. Finally, the location can't be beat! You can take your drinks across the street to Sunset Beach or sit in their beautiful outdoor lawn area. No matter what, you get an amazing drink with a beautiful view!

I ended up getting the banana barrel drink. It was super delicious. The drive there was relatively easy to find. Parking is a bit limited but you can find some side roads to park alongside to get there. Service was great!! Coffee definitely worth getting if you are a coffee enthusiast. Very Hawaii like ambiance and atmosphere. Very laid back!

Stopped by while we were in the north shore... I had to try this place given how many recommendations I had about it. I tried the banana barrel and thought it was pretty good, probably not the best that I have had on the island though. The service was good and they have a cute little spot across this crowded parking lot. You have to try it once, just for the experience!

The staff was wonderful and so kind. My family and I stopped on the way to Keikis beach. I got the chocolate swell iced coffee and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

So cute and such a delicious banana bread latte! Seriously so cute and yummy! The staff and service was amazing as well!

Definitely a must when visiting North Shore. Very friendly workers and great coffee. Had passed it a few times when driving through the area and made a detour just to check it out. And I am very happy that we did. Will be back to try the matcha next time we visit, as this time The White Cap (macadamia nut latte) had caught my eye.

Lucky's was the perfect stop along my drive on the North Shore. I got the honey lilikoi iced matcha which was a 10/10 perfect blend of lilikoi matcha and sweetness. The aesthetic is clean, beachy, and cozy. I would highly recommend!

Today, I had the chocolate haupia and it was tasty. The whipped cream on top is decorative and not too heavy, and the haupia is nice, although I do wish it were more coconutty. The service is never particularly pleasant. The workers seem unhappy to be checking people out, at least every time that I go. However, they are quick. I will give them that. Ample seating outside, although there's usually a lot of leftover trash from other people who have eaten there earlier. A good stop if you are craving pie by the slice at a reasonable price.

We arrived right when the restaurant was opening and were lucky enough to be seated immediately. The parking lot is relatively small, but we lucked out by being there right at opening. I loved the seating area, it is completely open and we were able to enjoy the light breeze and beautiful weather. I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi which comes with garlic ponzu long beans and lemon caper brown butter sauce (which I requested on the side) and white rice. I am glad I decided to put the sauce on the side because the sauce was really rich and I enjoyed it more as a light dipping sauce versus drenching the plate with it. The Mahi Mahi was delicious and cooked perfectly. The kids menu here is amazing, the kids all loved their choices. I tried some of the Chicken Tenders and it was one of the best I have ever had! The staff here are wonderful! They were so attentive and checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. The food came out quickly and just as we ordered. I would highly recommend Haleiwa Beach House to anyone craving fresh and delicious food... there is a variety of choices on the menu, everyone in our party was able to pick what they wanted and we all left full and happy :)

We stopped in and were given a table with a positively awesome view of the shore. Our server was very nice, but she regularly forgot to bring us napkins and straws when asked. Otherwise, she was great. Our food came out quite quickly after ordering considering how busy the restaurant was! I ordered the Garlic Shrimp, which was really good. Despite how appetizing it looked, it was not very heavy in flavor-- which is a bit disappointing. The Garlic Shrimp was well cooked and the creamy garlic sauce was nice and palatable, but I wanted more of that signature deep garlic flavor that you crave in garlic shrimp. The grilled lemon was an amazing touch, and that salad with yuzu dressing was absolutely my favorite part. The Yuzu dressing was absolutely to-die for, and I'm certain the salad that came with the plate was even better than the shrimp, which should've been just a bit more flavorful in order to give the dish more impact. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with my experience here, and my family seemed pleased with their own dishes. The restaurant accommodated changes to the meal, which is good if you have family members with other dietary needs. Overall, a solid stop while you're exploring the North Shore!

I remember his burger bun was purple, from the taro root ingredients. Mentally, I added it to my list, for next time. My nephew had never been to the Northshore before, and has rarely had a real vacation in his young run on the planet. His partially-genuine question was amplified by the inherent organic qualities of the lunch experience. Namely, the serene backyard surroundings of Farm to Barn's property. The picnic bench tables. His bare feet on the grass, manifesting a closer connection to the earth (which fortunately, he only mentioned once - we all know the someone who would've mentioned it 6 times, or so). My older sister added her coconut granola bowl was the best acai-adjacent bowl she's ever encountered, in the handful of years she's discovered such meals exist. And my breakfast burrito, aka my fav. food, was top 5 for sure. The yard chickens cruised us, hoping to get some scraps. But, we all made the most of our post-hike meal. One would think, photos would've been taken, during such a moment... but nope! Too busy enjoying family, and food, and the ultimate healthy Hawaii vibe, that this spot effortlessly provided. There's a ton of great food options on this stretch of the Northshore, but hard to imagine not coming here every visit, from now on.
