It honestly was the best day in recent memory. This shop is unlike any tattoo spot I've been to - it's serene, calming, and immediately puts you at ease in a situation where you might be feeling a little nervous. Jess, Emma (the other tattoo artist), and Wayne (a piercer who has pierced me several times!) are all welcoming and fabulous to have conversations with. Jess is such an amazing artist - watching her tattoo is a thrill - and her artwork hanging around the shop is unreal. I spent much of my time here observing her amazing paintings, as well as the loads of gorgeous plants, succulents, and Victorian-esque items! But based on their piercing practices, I would say avoid going to this place for anything at all. The piercer, whoever it was (some guy), does not deserve to have a piercing license... if he even has one. When I had my daith pierced, he approached me without having made any placement marks or anything whatsoever, and proceeded to jab the needle through my ear seconds after asking if I was ready. I was certainly not ready. It was more painful than it should have been, and ended up rejecting and migrating out of the original spot. Avoid the hassle of getting pierced here, I was lucky it wasn't worse. Don't trust people just because they say they can pierce you! I should have known from the lack of reviews about piercings but, now I know- DON'T GO HERE.

She used proper, quality, sterile equipment; provided solid APP aftercare advice; and was really calm, thoughtful, and patient throughout the process. The piercing placements and angles are perfect. My only complaint is that I think the titanium posts she used are way too long, even to accommodate initial swelling. I'll definitely want to get these downsized sooner than the suggested 4-6 month mark, because I suspect these are going to get snagged on everything.
