My daughter's first tattoo that Miguel did. Exactly how she drew it and Miguel was absolutely amazing.

Professionalism at its best!!! Miguel did an amazing job. He tattooed my daughter for her first tattoo and took writing from a card that I had received from my brother who passed away. Both came out amazing. He has a great chairside manager, a great personality, and is an all-around great guy. I've had many tattoos done by various artists and designers and so far Miquel has been the best. My daughter never even flinched getting her first tattoo which I was very impressed with. We have our appointments to go get them touched up already and added onto and we can't wait. Thank you Miguel for an amazing experience and job. Looking forward to seeing what we come up with for my cover-up. Also looking forward to getting our mother and daughter's tattoos from you. He is a keeper that is for sure.

Tat done by Devin Norton at Pair of Dice Tatoo

Devin did my memorial Yellow Rose tat on my right calf, from a referral from my son, I couldn't have asked for a better job. It was beyond my expectations. He took my photo of a b & w and made it my beautiful Yellow rose.Devin was the luck of the draw that day as they were doing a $20 special. So glad i drew,Devin. He was professional, courtesous, and very pleasant. My sons were present as one was getting tat and one was just doing what he could around the shop with the large group of people, he was in the process of full sleeves and back and chest. I went back for my touch up and Devin was again super.Anyone looking for a good place to get thier tattoos Pair of Dice Tatoo is the place to go. Everyone there is great.

My buddy grew up on Long Island now lives in San Diego... Flew out for Laconia Bike Week and wanted to add text to his tat. No appointment needed and he found the font that made him happy, 20 min later we was out. Whether u want a tattoo or a piercing, they can hook u up.

Huge shout out to Taylor, thank you!

Went in for matching tattoos for my friend's birthday. Everyone was so nice! I have almost 15 tattoos and we got our on our foot. Holy shit! I sat like a baby. Taylor was awesome though and didn't make me feel bad about it and it came out great. He was fast and efficient. If your here for bike week and thinking about getting a tattoo, definitely stop in here!

What an AMAZING experience I had at this shop!…read more My mom, sister, and I made same-day appointments with Jess at this beautiful tattoo/piercing/art gallery shop in downtown North Conway. It honestly was the best day in recent memory. This shop is unlike any tattoo spot I've been to - it's serene, calming, and immediately puts you at ease in a situation where you might be feeling a little nervous. Jess, Emma (the other tattoo artist), and Wayne (a piercer who has pierced me several times!) are all welcoming and fabulous to have conversations with. Jess is such an amazing artist - watching her tattoo is a thrill - and her artwork hanging around the shop is unreal. I spent much of my time here observing her amazing paintings, as well as the loads of gorgeous plants, succulents, and Victorian-esque items! This shop is clean, the artists are genuine, and the work they do is the best I've ever experienced. I don't see a reason to go anywhere else... I'll be back asap, Darling Grey!

I went to Gothic on several recommendations from friends. I read some bad reviews online but felt…read morethat my friends know what they're talking about. As usual, I find that I can't trust anyone's opinion but my own. :p My first impression was that the owner's wife and daughter (Gothic is a family owned business; Paul and his wife own the shop and employ their two daughters as artists) were sitting outside smoking butts. No biggie; I'm a smoker myself. But should they really be smoking outside the front door when they claim to be all clean and perfect? Kinda ew. Like, go to the back so people coming in aren't grossed out. Walking in the place, in the basement of an old building on Loudon Rd. in Concord, both my friend and I were taken aback at the well-lit, spacious business. It was super clean and open and bright, very professional looking. We were very impressed. I didn't have an appointment but the owner, Paul Florin, took my ID and money, and made me sign release forms, yada yada yada before getting down to business. It was obvious he was a straight forward and no-nonsense guy, very dry and almost bitchy. I didn't care; all I wanted was my nose pierced. He asked me to pick out the jewelry, of which they had like 5 options, and rushed me through it. Then he brought me back to the piercing room where we got to business. Like I said, he was very no-nonsense, so there was no chatting, no lightheartedness, no fluffy feelings. Just work. So he gets all his stuff together to do the job, and then I ask him, "Where are we going to put it?" I knew which side I wanted done, but I was unsure of the placement, and thought he'd have some sage advice. His response threw me a bit, he said, "Wherever I want. I'm the pro." He did mark the spot with a pen and let me check the area to make sure it was okay, and so he proceeded with the piercing. Personally, it wasn't too bad, it was fast, easy, I didn't bleed, etc. We were in and out in 10 minutes time. The reason for the 2 star review comes after the fact. I was sent home with strict instructions on care and followed them scrupulously. However about two weeks after having it done I got sick with a cold. I was doing alright until I woke up from sleeping, sneezing, and accidentally ripped the jewelry out. I FREAKED. I didn't want to pay to have it repierced after 2 weeks, but we were in the middle of a huge snowstorm, and half the state was closed. I stuck an ear earring in the hole to keep it open and called Gothic to ask their advice, and see if they'd be open for me to come down and have them put the jewelry back in (I couldn't get it in myself). I expected to get a call back right away since they're a service business and it was on a listed day that they were open. However I NEVER received a call back. I ended up going to Hot Topic in the middle of a blizzard because I needed SOMEthing to put in my nose, and the earring was super uncomfortable. After a couple of days I realized I could untwist the corkscrew myself and turn it into an "L" shape in order to get it back in myself. I *was* told to keep the jewelry in for 90 days, no excuses. Well, because that didn't happen, I did the best I could. I still haven't heard back from anyone at Gothic, let alone just the owner. I called a few times in those first few days after ripping my nosering out, but only left the one message. It's been maybe two months, and I do love my piercing, but feel it's a little crooked (the jewel sits out at an angle, but it's barely noticeable, maybe just to me since it's in MY nose, kwim? I do have a weird nose), and can't get passed the fact that this was some of the worst customer service ever. If you're not going to stand behind your work, why not just have a drive through? Why bother with all the aftercare instructions and ID checking? Overall, they're a clean facility, but looks can be deceiving. Just be prepared to deal with poor customer service and a guy who does "whatever he wants." After all, you're just the canvas. HE'S the professional.

He knows being stabbed in the face with a large needle is going to suck. But he makes the experience not suck. Gypsy the dog also makes you feel welcomed. :) Then I went back to East Coast for a tattoo. It was my first tattoo and the experience was awesome. They really know how to interact with their clients to get you to feel relaxed and comfortable. I told the tattoo artist "I only want one tattoo." He told me, "Yeah, right. You'll be back." And he was right. I went back a few months later. My second tattoo experience was just as amazing! And then I went back for a third! There was a bit of miscommunication during the appointment set-up process, but it all worked out perfectly in the end! East Coast will do their best to work with you and make things right and will make you want to return... even when you initially said, "I only want one tattoo." I will only go to East Coast Tattoos & Body Piercing because their work and customer service are EXCELLENT. And because of Gypsy. And their location is perfect for me. I'll be back. :)
