I know you cannot expect a burger anywhere other than Texas to taste like a real Texas burger but this was close!! The owner is a Turk who lived in Texas for years and has chosen to return to Istanbul and bring some Texas back with him.
The burgers are themed by various U.S. cities which is fun. I got the Dallas and it was great! I did take the cole slaw off (I tried it with but wasn't really feeling it). We also has the lemonade that is made in- house.
The only thing that could have made it better would be some Dr. Pepper and Blue Bell imported to make it feel like a real Texas joint.
Atmosphere was cozy. There's room for about 20 or so people in the place and the door stays open if not shut intentionally. This led to some breezy dining in March which was pretty chilly. The employees and owners were diligent to keep going back and shutting it but it was a lot for them to keep up with on top of cooking, taking orders, and customer service.
4 stars for the fun atmosphere and good burgers. Room for improvement with some of the burger styles (such as coleslaw on a burger) and door issue.
All in all, I don't think you'll get a more Texas-style burger in Turkey other than perhaps at a fast food joint. And that shouldn't count. read more
