Said food court area came in clutch for an easy, affordable dinner (pricing determined by weight) after landing at nearby Calgary International Airport. In addition to the usual produce, Asian snacks, seafood and meat sections, they uniquely have a whole aisle dedicated to Asian beauty products which I regarded with high interest. Some of the grab and go items -- namely the baos -- were a little expensive, but overall pricing was so-so. Parking lot was huge making for an easy-going shopping experience.

If not here I will find more compatible prices at T&T or A-Mart. I like this store because there is a lot of choices and variety all the way from noodle to prepared for immediate cooking meat products to fresh vegetables. Sauces and condiments are one of their strong points. Store is clean and easy to navigate. Check outs are usually pretty quick. Doesn't take long to spend a few bucks here but it's all worth it.

I found it interesting how they can have joss paper sold in front of the dead animals/ meat section. They have King's Seafood inside Lambda. They also have Maxim Bakery in here as well. Technically, this could be a one stop grocery store. But again T&T is also a one stop grocery store too. It does look like a typical Chinese/Asian grocery store. Yes Lambda has been around for a long time. They do close quite early at 7pm. Back in 2017, my issues was that I couldn't make it there at 7pm. Parking is limited here.

What you save inside will easily pay for it. Prices are way better here, selection is good for fish, meat, produce and all the sauces, spices and condiments you'll find at the big guys. We paid half what we normally pay at T&T for thin sliced pork and lamb today, and found all the fresh veg we needed too. Nice little bakery too. And there were no screaming kids, or people smashing into your ankles with shopping carts. The only thing missing is the hot food counter. I don't need that every time... I think I was addicted to T&T because of having Forbidden City in the same building, but I can easily substitute it with Sun's BBQ (yum, next door) from time to time...

I preferred this market to TnT - I found it more comfortable to shop it, and way less crowded. The only caveat I would add to that is make sure to check the expiration dates on what you're buying!

Their cashiers are pretty quick even though I have only seen one till open, mind you, it's never busy when we visit. There has only been 5-7 people at most whenever we came for groceries. Never will I ever again buy gochujang thinking I picked up a mild spicy level, but in actuality it's lap-dance-on-your-tongue. The Korean staples are all there: kimchi, hot pepper pastes and flakes, soybean pastes, soy sauces, oodles of noodle etc. There's also standard Asian produce along with Korean must-haves such as peeled garlic cloves, Perilla leaves, and chili peppers. Marinated meats are also available to bbq at home. Be sure to pick up some freshly, homemade side dishes such as seasoned baby crab and kimbap. The aisles are stocked with enough Korean snacks, and dried goods to satisfy your taste buds during a zombie apocalypse. Also super handy to have during the apocalypse are 16 litre kimchi Tupperwares big enough for a lifetime supply of kimchi (for a non-Korean), or one week's supply for Koreans. If you're environmentally friendly, A-Mart also supplies earthen kimchi pots in their humble kitchenware corner. Don't be afraid to walk on the Korean side at A-Mart. Hearing Gangnam Style as you wander the store will make you feel right at home. They get brownie points for ALMOST getting me to dance...almost. :)
