This place has been great the past couple of years but has drifted the past couple of months. I scheduled an appointment that was supposed to include a shave. I show up 10 minutes prior to my appointment and the barber said just a couple of minutes. He squeezed in another customer and delayed my appointment by 17 minutes. The barber was very distracted during the haircut and missed doing the shave. They have lost the barber treatment and just pupping numbers through the door now. I'll find a new barber. read more

Went to Lucky's for the first time, this is a new location in Allen, they have three locations in the DFW area. First time visitors here and get 50% off for a limited time. I got a fade which looks great, they also do shaving, trimming, they have drinks Layrite products which is good for me! The price was reasonable and the barbers were friendly. And they're open seven days a week which is a plus! read more

Roya is the worst customer service i have experience. I called about the availability of walk in appointment for two and was told that yes to come in. I did not ask specifically for an appointment with Roya but when one of us did not want our cut from her (because she got so many bad reviews) and she got annoyed because it messed up her turn for cuútomers since it was no customer at the time . She talked up the other employees in her native language complaining about it which is unprofessional. At the end of the day the shop gained business. It ruined the whole vibe and experience of our visit. read more

We had a great experience. Danny and Roya spent quality time cutting my kids hair. 8 & 6 year old, both boys, both really long hair. They left with short hair and look GREAT! Roya really takes care of the details, be prepared to spend an hour in that chair. She's amazing. read more

I'm a stickler when I get my haircut. I'm very particular and specific and there have been barbers in DFW that are $$$ and I've not been satisfied. Wife and I hit up a near by coffee shop one Saturday and I noticed Lucky's. I looked it up and booked an appointment via their amazing app right there in the parking lot for later in the week. Booked with Danny and couldn't be happier. First to mention is the vibe of the shop is like stepping into an old school barber with the great decor and vibe. I told Danny what I wanted and he went to town. One of the best haircuts I've had in years. Literally. Great experience at Lucky's. They do a great job of getting you in and out without making you feel like you're rushed. Isabel did a great job and her recommendations were on spot. First time visit to Lucky's in Allen. I really enjoyed my visit as this location has a cool vibe with different historic photos on the wall and I enjoyed the variety of music which was eclectic. Best part of course was meeting Matt F, which did a very thorough job and he seemed to take pride in what he was doing. It's nice to see someone actually care about the quality they do and not rush or cheapen the experience. You can even feel the quality as he took his time making it just right. I think I found a new haircut home at this location and will request Matt F going forward! read more

To begin, I never leave bad reviews, but I don't want any one else to have a month of needing to wear a hat every day. My first cut here was amazing. Erick did an incredible job, but he left the location shortly after the appointment due to what seemed like issues with the other barbers. Danny had good reviews, so I gave it a shot. When I saw the haircut of the appointment before me, I should've just left. The person before had a terrible fade and his hair was barely blended. I thought maybe it was a fluke or something. Instead of leaving, I stayed and I received the worst haircut I have ever gotten. The fade was decent but he didn't do it all the way up and left patches of long hair, the lineup was not close to even and was super far up, he gave me a thick hard part that looked ridiculous, the technique for the top of my hair was terrible and looked sloppy at the end. He didn't thin the top at all, and I was scared to ask him to do anything else because I didn't want him making it any worse. He seemed to be the "most knowledgeable" one there and was walking around helping the other barbers. If he was considered the experienced one there, I wouldn't have any of them cut my hair. On the plus side, my wife and friends have gotten quite a few good laughs due to how bad my haircut looks. read more

Went in saying I wanted to keep my hair long on the sides and needed the center bulked down and shaped to match the sides (basically was trying to keep the long hair without the worry of a mullet). Instead I got a haircut that cut the sides short and kept the center and back long as well as the sides be uneven. I didn't realize how bad it looked with my hair down till I got home because they styled it upwards. Looks great if I'm trying to run as a slicked back politician but not at all what I wanted. This all was done by a person that had paused my haircut to assist another barber. I didn't mind as I was in no rush but if this person is assisting other barbers I would not trust any of them to cut my hair further. Wasted $40 and will not be going back. read more
