My husband love music and records, so we went in to check out what they had...he browsed for a while and found a copy of Chick Corea, an album that he did not have and that he loved the songs in it...so he paid $8 for a double album!! What a deal.. He was in heaven. I was busy checking the food hall in the back of the building and he was happy as a clown checking out all the old LP's in the front of the store. Nice fun place, not very big, but with a lot of oldies that many people who love music cherish.

Opened in 2017 this 600 foot boutique record store resides at the entrance to the 1-800-Lucky food hall. The idea of the store was conceived by COYO TACO confounders Alan Drummond and Sven Vogtland and partner Gabi Chiriboga. Containing 2,000 vinyl records, the collection is curated by Devin Horowitz from the hip hop label Nature Sounds and local DJ Ynot. In addition to the records it's a convenience store selling lottery tickets, bottled water, 1-800-Lucky souvenirs like T shirts, and Japanese snacks, candy, and Ramune soda. My daughter is a vinyl collector so she stopped to look over the collection but since there was no Punk records she left unimpressed. Besides selling things the store also hosts social events like album release parties, singing events, and signings. Vinyl fans will want to pay this store and visit and when done there is treasure trove of food treats to sample in the adjoining food hall.

All music lovers this is the place right now for your vinyl needs and wants - And right after you purchase your records walk on over to 1800 and grab some delicious lunch while you listen to some great music.

A cool shop located in the Wynwood area of Miami. The layout is comprised of two different areas - the record shop and the bars/restaurant section. The record section is just left of the entry and is rather small but contains a number of used and new albums of different genres. The bar/restaurant areas are super cool offering both indoor and outdoor seating options , Japanese food and DJ booth setup. A great place to hangout and get the party started !

This place is great, selection is broad, prices are good. Have purchased many many records here. The first time I visited I was sad, and a guy behind the counter named Tony gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead. I've been a regular ever since. Great customer service nonetheless. Lucky Records is the 5th record store in Miami-Dade, Wynwood to be exact. Not too many options huh? Some think records are a thing of the past but for some collecting vinyl is a hobby and spinning vinyl is a talent that only a few still have after technology has made Djing as simple as pressing a button. Lucky records is a 600 square foot store inside of 1-800-Lucky, an Asian food hall concept. Lucky records leads the entrance to the food hall and the only way to enter. It has more than 2,000 vinyl records in stock. Lucky is curated by Devin Horwitz, founder of the Brooklyn-based hip-hop label Nature Sounds, and local DJ Ynot (AKA Tony Garcia). Not only do they sell records but they plan to have exclusive releases and will bring in acts for signings and performances. They have a large used and new vinyl section; everything from hip-hop, jazz, rock, R&B, world music, dance etc. They also hope to have pop-ups within the store where they put Dj's & producers collection up for sale. Street parking is available in the surrounding area. A cool place to check out on your stroll around Wynwood!

Celebrating the no return policy at Lucky Records! If you buy it you own it, skips, warps and all. They don't backup a sale.

I'm reviewing this location for it's STD services as it's partnered with the Aids Healthcare…read moreFoundation. So I'm doing part of my regular adult maintenance services, getting tested for STD's because well, adults like to have a little fun. A common theme among a lot of these locations is that they're placed in heavily populated and easily accessed cities but there's never quite enough parking. I'd say maybe less than 10 spots. So get there early to find parking as you're also going to be sharing spaces with patrons of the thrift store. In the age of Covid, registration isn't done by computer or paper but by the QR barcode hanging from the front door. Scan it, create a Healthvana account if you don't already have one, if you do already have one you'll just login and complete the sexual health questionaire. The in order in which you complete the questionnaire is the order in which you'll be served. Next, you'll check in at the stand up desk next to the counter. They'll ask for initials, not names because truly who wants to hear, "DUANA! YOU'RE HERE TO GET TESTED FOR STD'S RIGHT?! JUST MAKING SURE!!" They'll hand you a card with a number on it and you wait for you number to be called to walk into the clinic. The testing was quick. I didn't have an entire run down/overview of my sexual health history with the medical assistant like I'm accustomed to but that's fine. The MA will give you a cup for a urine sample and you'll place it in the window located in the bathroom and return to the office for them to take your blood. The MA who attended to me was kind, she had a hard time getting the needle into my vein and immediately asked for a second opinion which was great. They decided, "other arm" . My vein surrendered blood with no issue. The process was quick and painless. Between finding this location and leaving. I was in and out in 40 minutes. This is my second review of AHF services and I'm pleased and impressed with every location I go to. The service is free. They never ask you for money. So take advantage and go. It costs nothing to get yourself tested.

It's a humble location; it's in a quiet strip mall off Oakland Park blvd. Honestly, as we pulled in to the mostly empty parking lot I thought we had the wrong location. But as we entered I realized what few mall customers there were, were all in the shop. And what a nice space it was. Old school basic layout that I liked. Just boxes and boxes of vinyl to sift through. They were well organized, with punk, funk, and more all set in their areas. And the RSD specials were displayed above each of the areas they related to. It's not a huge store, but with the limited quantity it helped me find a couple things I liked. Glad to make the acquaintance of We Got the Beats, and hope to be back soon.

The owner/manager (I'm not sure of his exact role), Tony, was super nice and patient despite what I'm sure was a stressful event. I was super impressed by the organization and how smoothly everything went, when it could've very easily been chaotic with hundreds of crazed fans in attendance. Tony also did a great job of making sure that people didn't cut in line, when many did try, and took the time to talk to those of us who had been waiting in line for hours. He also answered tons of questions on social media that people had leading up to the event. I can't convey how impressed I am at how well they pulled off an event of this magnitude, and am beyond grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
