I always get the raspberry Red Bull whenever I drive through mountain home! They have tons of syrup flavors and they provide them in sugar free as well. There is a lobby inside that is great for studying. The majority of the coffee shops in mountain home do not have indoor and outdoor seating for you. Also located with an ice cream shop inside. The location is nice because I feel like most of the coffee shops are on airbase road, so it's nice to have one on American legion. read more

Since I am not a coffee drinker you may find it interesting that I am reviewing a coffee place, but oh wait just a moment, dear reader, Moxie Java is so much more than just coffee! It was 90 degrees and the humidity was kind of high and we were looking for something cool to drink. Moxie Java was considerate enough to have a drive-thru so we need not leave the air conditioned comfort of our car. An iced mocha and a iced tea later and we were back on the road. Both were quite excellent, the service was mighty friendly and speedy too. If you're cruising through Mountain Home and need a coffee or drink fix exit at #95, head south for about 2 miles, they are on the right. Tell them John sent you. read more

Awesome little coffee shop that saved us during family time with some good caffeine. Staff was nice and helpful. Got the white chocolate fraps with a cinnamon roll and scone which were nice on a cold winter morning. Fun little small town coffee shop. Locals were coming in and every one was on first name basis which is always a good sign. read more

I am so lucky to have a home town coffee shop to get amazing coffee and tea. I tend to travel a lot and when I am out of town I like to try what people are having in different areas. If I come across something new I like that isn't on the menu, I ask if they can make it for me. I have never been turned down or disappointed. Always amazing and personal service! The last time I went to Lucky Perk, I found an earwig in my drink. Had it not been iced, I wouldn't have noticed it right away. Also, every time I've had their coffee, it tasted like chemicals, I often had stomach issues after. I've switched coffee places and not had those issues since. read more

Now I've been to my fair share of Starbucks and other well-known coffee establishments but I will tell you this place had some very good coffee. Went through drive-thru twice in one week and both times the coffee was as good, if not better, than these other well-known establishments. On Sunday June 28 2015 at approximately 6:30-7pm I went through the drive thru at lucky perk to order a latte and a banana bread . Girl taking orders then was very rude. Never asking me if that would complete my order but instead rushing me. She had a very bad tone and I just overall felt like I shouldn't be there ? She never apologized to me when I came to window and never once smiled or acknowledged what I said. It was more like "hi here is your coffee now leave " kind of thing. Normally real nice people. Sucks that just one person can ruin it for everyone. read more

Definitely the most mediocre coffee shop in town. Their drive-thru barely works. Their menu is not very descriptive either, which leads to some awkwardness with employees who don't know their menu well enough to help you out. Not a whole lot of speciality drinks like the other places in town. It used to be the only sit-down coffee shop in town, but that's no longer the case. Not my favorite spot. read more

I have been a baritsa/cafe manager for over 8 years until I moved to Mountain Home. I am definitely a coffee snob, and know how shops should run. First thing, the coffee is good. I never get a bad cup. The reason for the 2 stars is the service, which is JUST as important! Lucky Perk has a lot of improving to do. I always have to wait 10-15 minutes in the drive thru, which is INSANE. There has never been more then 1 car infront of me either. (TCBY, SAME THING, even when I went inside.. SOOO SLOW!!!!!) This is somewhere I would love to come to before work, but am not willing to give up 15 plus minutes for a cup of coffee. Speed in the coffee industry is KEY! You must be fast, yet consistent. Also, personality is lacking. I normally never get greeted, or any kind of acknowledgement besides, "here's your coffee, itll be $___" You wonder why Dutch Bros does so amazing? I dont even like their coffee very much, but everyone is cheery, talkative, flamboyant! its a great atmosphere, which draws people to come back. Just a thought! I think you guys have the potential to be great, just need to work on customer service and speeed!!!!!! read more

The coffee is extremely overpriced! I can get the same mocha at Dutch for a dollar less. The taste wasn't great and it wasn't even hot. Barely warm. Not to mention I sat in the drive thru for 12 minutes with only 1 car ahead of me. I even had to honk my horn to get their attention! I'm glad a new coffee joint opened up! read more

Loved the Peruvian roast, but I am Peruvian so my opinion is biased. The service was good I forgot to get the name of the woman behind the counter. She informed us of the self serve coffee and suggested a couple of breakfast sandwiches. My husband and I got the sausage breakfast burritos and paired with the Peruvian roast it was heaven in the morning. I am kicking my self for not buying the bag of coffee so I may also enjoy it at home. The cafe was clean. It has a bathroom and little areas for groups. The wall art was amazing with anime drawings. I wish they would have a price so people may purchase them. Too bad I do not live in the state and we were just passing by. They do have a rewards program if you are a local. I'm sure the wait time of the drive through is just like starbucks'. I am glad we stopped in and enjoyed the environment and their delicious items. read more

Frozen yogurt is good. Coffee is not. I have given them several tries and the coffee is always weak and watery. Stick to the fro yo and it will be ok. read more

Stopped on for a coffee on a Monday lunchtime and was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I had Americanos that were very good and were made with their French roasted coffee beans. Their baked goods are lovely and we recommend the Banana Bread. This is a good coffee shop, with seating outside to watch the world go by, well at least the residents of Mountain Home. read more

Lucky Perk in Mtn Home is the go to for that hometown/our town feel. The staff is always "perky", and the customer service is phenomenal! Glen always greets everyone by name and "the usual?" That man must know everyone's drink in town! Love my iced and hot caramel mochas and my little guy can't get enough of the warm cinnamon mini donuts or their delicious fresh muffins. Drive thru is great, but the atmosphere inside is what I love the best. Their pretty much anything is good. Great place for kids and adults. I suggest the smoothies though they are my personal favorite.

The frozen yogurt is awesome....however for coffee they charge you Starbucks prices for coffee that tastes like crap...I've had to have them remake my drink on two occasions because it tasted nasty. read more

Sad to say that as a coffee lover this coffee was really bad. It might have just been that the over staffed employees were having a bad day cause only one person out of the 5 or 6 there smiled or welcomed us at all. They had to ask several times what we ordered and still got it wrong. The staff did not seem to want to be bothered and just hurried us along with out even asking if there was anything else we would want. All this being said the frozen yogurt was very good. read more

I have gone to the lucky perk less and less often. My order gets substituted with "easier" drinks that are suppose to taste the same. Every other time I go, things are forgotten in my order, such as muffins or that I asked for a large cup and they give me a small. It has turned into the worst coffee shop I have gone to. The last few times I've come here they have gotten my same order I always get wrong. Idk if its all their new hires or what. The customer service was terrible and the woman named Autumn was extremely rude, only changing her attitude when we walked inside to complain. The only saving grace of this place are Glen and Jonni.
