We researched the closet 'shave ice' to us and these guys came up! The quality of the ice had a nice soft look which we were looking for and the hours were still open and flexible- something that would matter to us when we consider getting a treat to cool off last minute, later in the evening. When we pulled up we were pleased to find outdoor seating, shade and friendly service. Our shave ice was great, I ordered the 208 sunrise and my husband ordered a peach with coconut cream. For the regular size it was perfect for both of us, anymore probably would have been to much! $7.50 was our total and we were able to pay with a card. The cups that our shave ice came in appeared to be compostable as well as a cardboard straw, we really appreciated this effort to create less waste on our environment! My only struggle was my own as I'm an indecisive individual and when I try a new place I usually steer towards the suggested combos or the establishments named items on the menu, here it seemed there were about 5ish? different options they named themselves but of course they had the usual flavors for everyone.

I'm not sure if I should be embarrassed that I had never tried shaved ice but do remember snow cones. It was all explained to me as I was turning around. I can't for sure name the treat I got but think it was some special Hawaiian thing?? I liked it. A cup of shaved ice and Subtle tropical ish flavors. Why not. You know what. It was refreshing. I will definitely try it again.
