Today was the second time I have been to this place for a mani/pedi. The worker accidentally made two of my fingers bleed when he was trimming my cuticles. The bleeding wouldn't stop and I offered to come back when my fingers were better. The worker insisted on continuing. When I asked if he would help clean up the blood, that had blended with the nail color, he reached for the brushes they use (and reuse with other clients) to clean up nail polish. I told him that he should use a wooden cuticle pusher instead. He went looking for one but didn't find anything. He returned and proceeded to use the brush I told him not to use. I was given a $9 "discount". I was kind throughout this entire process because I know accidents do happen. My concern is that I was not heard when I asked if I could come back and that the man used brushes that I know full well they don't sanitize. read more

paid $80 for a standard gel mani-pedi. the pedi was ok, but the mani was the issue. When i got home i realized there was a fuzz in one of my nails and overall my nails just look thick because the dude put so many coats. for context, all i wanted was a white glitter gel. they said they can do a white base and put glitter on top. The glitter polish they used didn't even have that much glitter in the first place hence why they have to put so many coats. seriously... little upset. even my brother noticed my nails look weird. DONT GO HERE! they cant do a basic gel mani. wonder how i can get my money back read more

I wish I could have given a no star rating. Customer service is awful, they're rude and act like its a chore to do their job. I felt very unwelcome the entire time I was there and it's pretty obvious when the co workers are talking badly about their guests. I will not ever return to get a service here again. Gave this place three tries... first two visits, gave them the benefit of the doubt, maybe she's having a bad day... so grouchy and irritated, but she did a decent job and the place is in my neighborhood. Yesterday, went in to see if I could get a pedi. Asked about time frame... the man nearly bit my head off, saying it would take too long, could not get it done. Seriously angry in his response. Another woman who was waiting to see if she could get an appointment even looked at me wide eyed like, Wow, this guy is mad. I honestly was just simply asking if it was possible, totally cool if it wouldn't work. These people seem to hate their jobs. I feel sorry for them. If you do choose to check this place out, I hope it's a better experience and that this couple have found Jesus and are enjoying life. read more

I have been going to lucky nails off and on for years! I have never once walked out of there unhappy until tonight. Not even 4 hours after getting my nails done ($28 for a full set) one nail completely snapped off! I barely tapped it and it snapped! My nails feel flimsy and I'm afraid to even touch anything because they might snap off! I now have to call in the am and see if they can fix my nails or give me a refund. There is little to no acrylic on my nails which is why the one snapped. It seems like it's just him and his wife working there now and it was DEAD when I came in around 5pm. It use to be always busy. The lady doing my mani and pedi kept yelling at me to move a certain way or to relax my hands more. The worst service I've ever had in my life at a nail salon. My Co worker and I visited the salon recently and I've never in my life been treated so poorly by the people I'm paying to do my nails. They treated us like we were scum between their toes the entire time acted like they didn't want to do our nails, ended up cutting me and by the end of the service I was in tears because how rude the male was to me. He actually refused to paint my nails after the lady put 6 coats and didn't warn me the nail Polish was old and wouldn't dry I went back after hours and they were still wet and I showed the male he threw cotton on the ground and made his wife fix my nails. I also tipped. Never again will I go back or ever recommend anyone to this piss poor excuse of a business. Makes sense why they're never busy! Beware!!!! WORST PLACE EVER! I took my 3 year old in for a simple toes & nails painted not even the whole deal just clipping and paint. We walked in and there was no one there lady was just sitting on the couch and I asked for a simple request she looked very annoyed and bothered. She told me she "no color too small" I then replied with "no she wants color" the lady then became even more upset. Told my daughter to sit down and then a mom and her maybe 10-12 year old came in requesting a mani pedi she started telling them to sit down at the chairs and then looked at us and said you wait. I then became VERY upset got my child and said "you know what we're leaving" she looked at us and laughed. Who does that? It was a simple request would have taken less than 20mins to do. Went here today with my sister and mom. We had an appointment for 2 o'clock, and arrived 5 minutes beforehand. They were full with 4 clients, one waiting, and only two technicians. Despite our appointment, we were not promptly served. The atmosphere was tense and the owner was aggressive with me, irritated that I wanted to sit near my mom and sister. I finally asked to be served by the other woman, I did not know what would happen to my cuticles if he got his hands on them. I have been going to Lucky nails for years ....it should be renamed ""Grumpy Nails"", the place is clean & they do excellent work, but the attitudes are terrible . Their customer service needs to improved greatly!!!!!!!!!! It was very empty and now I know why after reading other reviews. I have decided after my treatment by the wife, that I will find a new salon for my pedicures after yesterday. The wife was so mean and grumpy and she was rough w/ me. I have had it, as this is not the first time and in the past I had I chosen to ignore her attitude, but this was too much -- she punch my foot down hard and shouted at me. That is terrible customer service, no need to be so rude. I always tip even when she is grumpy- -I almost didn't, but I did and walked out after paying ,thinking this is my last time coming there . Absolutely the worst nail salon ever. When they found out my sister and I had gift certificates, the service went down the toilet. They were very rude and did a horrible job. We've worn shellac polish for years & my usual salon removes the polish as part of the service. Lucky nails charges to remove the polish, and they do it with a electric file instead of soaking the polish off. We feel like we just paid them to damage our nails. To top it off, the polish is all over our cuticles and looks horrible. The male owner treated my sister like she had never had her nails done before. He placed her hands inside the UV dryer each time, like she wasn't capable of doing it correctly. I gave one star because it wouldn't let me give none. I am giving one star because the place was clean on the inside. The male that filed my nails very rough. The lady that did my shellac color shook. Her hand not steady so didn't get even color. The table top heating elements didn't work well and they had to layer bottom with cardboard.
