Well we were on our way to VA Beach and saw an sig for the store and it was an immediate stop for us. We pulled in and were glad we did. The selection is so big. I got the lemon. Just wanted to give it a try. Man they are BIG on flavor. It's the first thing you taste. Nice and crunchy. Of course I have to get the original. They are always a hit. Nice big peanuts. We also tried out the samples of the pimento cheese and chicken salad. They have some little cups for you even some little wooden sporks. I liked them both. We ordered a BLT as well. I normally ask for extra may but I'm so glad I didn't this time. This sandwich had plenty tangy mayo. It had a hint of sweetness to it. I couldn't tell which mayo they use but it was good. There was plenty of bacon on the sandwich which was very good because we split the sandwich and didn't have to separate the bacon. The lettuce was bib lettuce and not iceberg which I enjoyed and the tomatoes were very fresh. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Handicap parking on a concrete slab. And the staff if very friendly and made you feel welcome. It has a homey vibe to it. It's a busy place. We were going to stop on the way back home but it was raining and we missed our turn. Definitely a place you should stop.

Everything was delicious! This place is truly a gem. Since I was flying in and out of Richmond, I couldn't stock up on all the other interesting goodies I spotted on the shelves. Maybe someday I'll make the drive back and come prepared! Thank you, ladies, for the wonderful hospitality and a fantastic, affordable, high-value lunch. Interior (8/10) - The inside looks good but the chairs at the glass tables were a little too tight for me so I decided to sit at the bar which was a good choice. The chairs at the bar felt a little wobbly but I didn't mind. I sometimes drive past this place during the night and it's always packed so I guess it's best for a post work visit. Service (8/10) - The staff were extremely friendly and on top of things and it's a local restaurant so I not going to complain. Food (9/10) - and now for the main attraction, the food tastes pretty good. I had the Crab Cake Sandwich and it was seasoned and savory. My friend ordered mozzarella sticks and they were the best mozzarella sticks I've had so far, crisped and cheesy to perfection. And the crab dip was pretty decent, too creamy and juicy to my taste (No Diddy). Overall, this place doesn't come off as a place for dinner for me but it's the perfect place for Lunch. 8.5/10

I also ordered a pork chop sandwich, which was a little disappointing. I'd rate it a 6 out of 10. The pork chop itself was fine, but when I was asked if I wanted lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise and said yes, I expected more than what was on it. When I opened the container, it barely looked like anything had been added and I had to lift the pork chop to even see it.
