Decided to try Louie's on a Friday night and I really enjoyed the food. Although you can call in your order, I couldn't find an online menu. I went in and read the menu on the wall, colorful and clearly written. Placed my order and waited 30 minutes. I ordered a build your own (BYO) small pizza, a large half & half, and BBQ wings. The crust was light and had a great taste and the toppings were very generous. I love that they added Italian seasoning on top of the pizza. The BBQ sauce was really good on the wings. Pasta to be added soon (per the menu) They offer a military/government discount - be sure to ask. I'll definitely be back to try out another dish!!! read more

Great old-school pizza joint feel. The staff was very helpful and attentive. It was busy when we arrived, but everyone was taking orders so it didn't take long. The fried beef ravioli were excellent and should be on more pizzeria menus. I enjoyed the cheesesteak, but the meat definitely could've used more (or some) seasoning. Food is over priced and when you order a sandwich I promise you there will not be any mayo on it. Bread not toasted. The girl that took my order didn't speak good English. We drove thru Blackstone,Va today on our way back from a cemetery visit. We were hungry but had our dog, seeing that louie's had tables outside we decided to stop! We were so glad we did! The staff were so friendly and nice! They brought our dog out a big container of cool water which she was very happy for. The food was delicious and not premade, which was a nice surprise!!! We had a large salad with Italian dressing, a chicken ceaear wrap which came with fries and a "small" veggie Stromboli (it was HUGE I can't imagine what a large one looked like!) Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous in that 3 of us could not even finish it all!!! Our only regret was we were too full to try one of their desserts! Payment in advance is required after you order at the counter. I ordered the small (5 items of my choice) pizza with extra sauce on the side. I sat down at a small empty table. The basic accommodations were clean & neat. The pizza was delivered on a pedestal tray with 2 disposable small plastic containers (holding about a tablespoon each of red pepper flakes & grated Parmesan cheese) & disposable napkins. There was also my side over of their freshly made pizza sauce in a 1/2 cup disposable plastic container. The pizza crust was crisp, the toppings were fresh & delicious. The pizza sauce was WONDERFUL & necessary as the pizza didn't have much sauce without the extra order. I ate inside, it was a little chilly & there were 2 TV's on different stations with the sound off. The counter clerk was busy folding pizza boxes & taking to go orders. I requested a refill of unsweetened ice tea to go & there was no extra charge. I was impressed with the quality of the food & will eat there again. They also have a restaurant in Victoria, Va that is much nicer as it was the original & this one in Blackstone is a satellite location. read more

We are from out of town visiting family to help with packing and moving. We had a hangry crew after a day of working. I stopped in to see what I could grab to-go and I was greeted by the two most sweetest and very helpful girls. We have a family of picky eaters and these girls were so helpful at making menu suggestions. I placed a big order and went next door to the dollar store to get some weekend supplies thinking it would take a long time for my order to be prepared, but as soon as I walked back in the door I was greeted by the girls with my order.
