I went into the store since I didn't want to hold up the line at the drive thru since I wanted my fish filet made to order. I specifically told this to the cashier. Twice two different employees tried to give me a fish filet that was not made to order because it was not hot. After repeating myself to the young girl once then to the older gentleman I finally received the fresh fish filet. That young girl would not be working for me. She was very rude. It was 2:50 when I ordered this. She had a pony tail and blonde hair. Thanks to you I will take my business elsewhere. You have alot to learn in this customer service field. The ambiance was cold. Service was horrible staff member making sandwiches for breakfast and ate something with her gloves on and didn't wash her hands before applying new gloves to continue making food. They were out of biscuits and gravy and not willing to take a few minutes to simply heat the can of gravy in the microwave cause that's all they do with it anyway and also out of hotcakes it's simple to heat those up in the microwave too. Food is consistent with any other McDonald's. My complaints are you NEVER receive your order correctly.Something is always missing or no sauce when you asked for it.It's now just a practice without thought to check the bag before you pull off because it will not be right. Also it would be nice if the staff working the drive thru speaker to use the politeness and proper English as those irritating recorded messages that you gotta listen too before you can order. It is relatively fast, with occasional delays, usually caused by excessively large group orders, which I have heard from vehicles in front of me in the drive-thru. The drive-thru orders are a little quicker than in store which I find at most fast food services. The friendliness of the staff is 5-star. read more

I live about 30 minutes from the McDonald's in Blackstone so when my order is messed up it's not like I'm going to run back to have the issue corrected the first time I went in there I had to wait 25 minutes for my food. The second time I went there my burger was so bad it was not edible so I called the manager and they promised to mail out some coupons for free items which I never received yesterday against my better judgement me and my boyfriend tried it one more time only to be disappointed again the coke was flat as we had already headed down the road we did not want to turn around to get new drinks I tried calling the store and no one answered so this morning when my boyfriend headed back to Marilyn he went through Blackstone and thought surely the coke would be fixed by now so he ordered his breakfast and a coke and pulled off and the coke is still flat I called the store and was able to get ahold of a manager who was aware that the coke was flat and said they had someone coming out tomorrow I asked if he was informing people when they ordered their drinks that the coke was no good and he said no so they have been selling Cokes for who-knows-how-long knowing they are flat and not giving their customers the option to get a good drink. There frappe making skills are very inconsistent. Most of the time the cup of is only have full with a very little whip cream and sauce on top. They are very slow at getting there food out. When I told him I taught Middle School, he gave me the "crazy lady" look that everyone gives and then smiled when I explained that our county has experienced several losses and it's been hard for the kids/teachers/counselors and pretty much all the people in the school systems who are doing it right, and how we are doing a kindness counts type of project in class so the kids can turn their hurt into something positive. His compassion made me feel a little less overwhelmed with my day. I told him I wanted to give him a positive review to which he quickly and patiently provided me with all necessary information. He wasn't even worried about the effect for him; instead excited about the project for the students. On the way out, I saw a man who needed $0.35 and by the time I wrote the acts of kindness note for him and circled around, he had left. Your employee made sure to not only do his required job but went out of his way to help me make someone else's day a little better. As a person that has lived in Blackstone for the past year and a half and in the surrounding area the rest of my life, McDonald's in Blackstone is one of the places that I go when I don't want to cook dinner after I get off of work. The food is great, most of the time. With the exception of cheese being missing from sandwiches here and there and getting the wrong orders every once in awhile. The food is not really my issue with this McDonald's though. I have traveled alot and I don't think I have ever been more annoyed with fast food service in my life. When you don't want to go inside and think that going through the drive thru will be quicker, think again. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't see at least 8 to 9 cars waiting to make or receive their orders. Then in addition to that, some of the employees that work there are extremely rude. Give a cashier a higher bill than a $20 and they freak out. Especially if they are running the drive thru window. And they show their disgust and aggravation towards the customer! Openly! And of course there has been more than one occassion where I have ordered chicken nuggets or a sandwich to go all the way home and find that instead of the 6 piece I ordered, I have 4 or instead of a mcdouble I have a mcchicken. The lack of respect for the customer and the lack of attention to detail is what derails this restaurant as somewhere that I want to eat. And I'm not the only one with these complaints, as I have heard many different people complain about the way that McDonald's in Blackstone is run and about getting the wrong orders, etc. Maybe the problem is the management and the employees. Maybe they should get rid of everyone that isn't doing their jobs right and start over with fresh faces that don't mind where they work. If you don't like your job then do something about it!
