Let me start out by saying this is a great place to play all the runners get to you. They're nice…read moreJoe the manager is great. But they have a caller named Manny that is impossible for him to start anything on time if the start time for the early bird at 5:30. We're lucky if starts at 5:45 and then he goes outside to smoke a cigarette. Or, then he strolls back in and we're lucky if he doesn't stop to talk to somebody then he gets up on the stand like nothing happens and starts.. A lot of people when they find out that he's calling they'll leave. I like as a person but as a caller he's the worst that I've ever seen. He is also constantly calling the wrong numbers.

Yes, it was a nice OK experience…read more Went the cheapest route - $10 for a computer that plays 66 cards for you. Totally automatic. A number is called and the computer finds it on all of your 66 cards and marks it. All you have to do is pay attention and tell out if you hit a bingo. A session is just about an hour. Four games are played within that hour. A morning session and an afternoon session. If you played both sessions, you'd start about 11:30am and be done by 2:30pm. Cheap entertainment. Doors open at 9-9:30. Why, I don't know. First session starts at 11:30am. Early bird about 11:20am. In between the main bingo games, they have runners trying to sell you smaller quick games for $1 and up, depending on the game. Not bingo per se, but little games for cash or computers. Hard to explain. But the people eat them up. I bought a $1 game. Two rows of numbers hit one from each column, you win $125. Would be a great return. Fun. Only the concession stand was not open, but it did look like people brought their own snacks and drinks.

This was my first time at a bingo hall and even though no one in our party won that night, I still…read morehad a blast! Me and my bestie met up with a few of her friends and went for late night bingo to celebrate her birthday. We got there right before the first session was starting so we initially had to play on paper because all of the computers were sold out. I had a good old time stamping the numbers out with my purple ink (AKA bingo bubles). LOL Thank goodness Norma was a bingo pro because she ended up teaching me how to mark my paper bingo cards and how to play all of the side games including Trolls, Elvis, 3x Lucky, and Horse/Racetrack/Jockeys. People who aren't staying for the second session turn in computers before they leave, so we played on computers for round 2. I catch on quickly so by the second session, I was able to play on paper and with a computer at the same time (like I was a pro). Ha! We had gotten a sheet cake from HEB earlier that day and there were only 5 of us in our group, so we shared cake with the bingo hall staff and other people sitting at our tables. We had a great time that night! I'm keeping my bingo ink/bubbles so hopefully I'll win BIG the next time I get a chance to play!

I called and was told computers was $10 and buy 2 get 3rd for $2. I asked for the daily specal and…read morewas charged $42 for 2 computers at $20 each then $2 for third wtf. So disappointed

I have RE-EVALUATED my outlook on Flamingo Bingo. The place is cleaner, the food is AWESOME (CHRIS…read moreRULES), the game are fair, the caller(s) are consistent and audible, management does well. Some things are still lame here and there, but that's at any BINGO hall... Love the staff and the service. Total positive comeback from four years ago. Terry

Very disappointing experience, especially from a place we have been loyal to for over a year…read more We used to really enjoy Flamingo Bingo and would drive across town specifically to come here. The first time we ever played here, we won $5,000, and we have continued coming back ever since. We also routinely spend $500-$700 during an evening, so we are not occasional customers. Unfortunately, tonight was enough to make us decide we will not be returning. The staff seemed unhappy, overwhelmed, and confused, and there was very little communication or organization. The overall customer service and atmosphere have declined significantly. The bathrooms had NO RUNNING WATER, which was extremely concerning and unacceptable. The jackpots also did not appear to match what was being advertised, which was frustrating. Additionally, management seemed very focused on pushing computer play and getting customers to purchase things during the first hour, but then seemed to disappear afterward. If customers are being encouraged to spend more money, there should be management available and visible to address questions or problems. What makes this especially disappointing is that we have been loyal customers and have willingly spent hundreds of dollars here because we genuinely enjoyed coming. Tonight, the experience was simply not worth the money. This place has a lot of potential, but the management, customer service, cleanliness/facility issues, and overall experience need serious attention. Hopefully ownership takes these concerns seriously before they lose even more longtime customers. After more than a year of coming here, we unfortunately will not be back.
