We love circus bingo! They have early bird games starting at 530PM. we like to come early because when the first official game starts at 7, it gets packed! At 530 they have an early bird game every 30 minutes until 7PM. Their main games are 7-8, 8-9 and 9-10. The people are friendly. Our first time, we asked strangers for help and the workers are helpful as well. They have workers walking around with mini games that are extra chances to win more money. There were 3 winners..". WHAT??? This is wrong in so many ways, I have never seen this before. The game was clearly closed by the caller. Believe me, Gaming and Licensing will be informed tomorrow. I took my parents and family to the New Circus Bingo location. The new location is nice and the experience is always fun. We played 2 sessions of bingo (there are 4 games per session) and had a great time. The staff and the people at Circus Bingo are always so nice and friendly. The environment is family oriented and the entire process is very easy to join in and play. No experience needed. The cost to play is affordable as well. 3 dollars per person per card for each session. A card 12 to 24 individual bingo cards on it. You choose how many you want to play at once. Lastly you have to try to Clown Car Cafe. They have great tasty concessions like popcorn, hotdogs, cake, tacos and more. My favorite is the super nacho. I highly recommend Circus Bingo. What a fun Wednesday I had with some coworkers. This was my first bingo experience and so I was surprised to see computers. I had my friend get there at 6:30 and buy two computers (weds $12 each) three sessions. The hall never really filled up but there were plenty of the "regulars" and folks with like 10 computers in front of them. It was kind of confusing what games are up. The best part is that the computer tells you when you are one number away or won! I would never do daubers since it has too many ways to win and I'm not that fast, but at $1 a sheet it's cheap. You can bring your own food and drinks! I didn't play any of the lotto ticket games in between but they do have a decent food stall in the back with fresh food at cheap prices. There are plenty of computers to play with if you don't want to dab hard copies. The snack bar food is not something I'd eat again, but then again I wasn't there to eat. We have been coming to Circus Bingo for several years. We started out at the old location on Culebra. Since moving to this location we have been here twice. We love the fact that children are welcome to play as long as they play their own packet and are respectful to those around them. This location seems to be smaller than the last but is clean and comfortable. They also have a snack bar with a variety of items available for purchase. My favorite is the Super Nachos for around $6. This place is fun for a night out if you're wanting to try something new. It's super cheap for the jackpots that they have. It's $3 for 3 games and you can buy into the blackout game for $1 and they have a lot of these mini games. It's also BYOB. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty poppin with young and old people. We stayed for the 2nd and 3rd sessions. They were doing a raffle the day that we went so it took a long time to start the 3rd session. Perhaps I'm not a bingo person or perhaps I'm a sore loser. Although I didn't like the bingo night as much as I thought I would have, I must admit that the feel of the place is very comforting. I always associated bingo halls with elderly people but surprisingly, I couldn't have been more wrong. There is a wide range of people at the bingo hall, young and old. Although children are allowed, I'm not sure if it's best to have children there unless they're really into bingo or something. My brother and sister tagged along and were dying of boredom. So that may be something you consider if you have young-ins. Also, if you are hitting up Circus Bingo, it's bring your own whatever. Drinks & Food. That's pretty cool. Also, as my last tip. This is in my opinion, the best bingo hall in San Antonio. The bingo callers are the clearest and quite entertaining, Mike is the best of them all. The floor and desk staff are the sweetest and friendliest people. My personal favorites are Mario, Andrew, Jake, Mark, Bea and of course Mike when he sells on the floor. This place is great! Bring Cash, they don't take card. The guy who calls out the numbers is sooo funny, the folks that sell you the bingo cards/ computers are super friendly and helpful & so are the other patrons. If you don't know what you are doing ask they will help! Food is Lit and fresh and super reasonably priced. So is the the bingo, last Friday I paid $15 and played all night & had the chance of winning up to $750.00. This a very fun place to play Bingo. You can either play the computer boxes, paper, or both and they also have pull tab tickets you can buy through out the night to play. Each night they have different type sessions and payout amounts. I have won a few times already myself and they pay pretty fair amounts depending on the day and type of session. The employees are very sweet and help you as much as possible. I do recommend going here for a great night of Bingo!! Had such a wonderful time at Circus Bingo! I'm not a professional bingo'er and was super nervous about going but I wanted some good clean fun for my niece and I to do last night. The owners treated us like family along with everyone else there, the staff was so helpful and patient with me and my 6yr old niece. The facility and bathrooms were clean (and I'm Crazy about stuff like that). The snack bar in back had a good selection of goodies and was priced right! Last night my daughter and I went to play bingo and I noticed some suspicious activity there going on with 2 of the runners selling the pull tabs. I was not the only one who noticed it either. 3 other people notice as well. My suspicions were confirmed when the kid won! Turns out one of the guys is the son of the owner. I was not the only person who brought this to their attention and was told he" was going to get on their asses" This is not the first time I heard this but i shrugged it off not believing it was possible.
