Hallie Martin and her excellent staff have spent the last 2.5 years bringing this venerable property back to life, and I could not be more pleased with the services provided and the vast improvements and renovations that continue to be made. My horse's stall and run are beautifully maintained. He always has fresh, fluffy bedding and plentiful clean water from his automatic waterer. His hay and feed are top quality and are stored safely. He is turned out daily, weather permitting. The multiple turnout pastures are huge. Proper herd management is a priority. Hallie decides where each horse goes to create the best possible herd life for every equine. The entrance gate is secured 24/7 with a keypad lock. In addition to providing wonderful care for the horses, Hallie wants her boarders to enjoy the gorgeous property as well. She has cut trails through the ranch, which also boasts a creek and large fields for good runs. The large indoor arena is well-lit and professionally leveled. There is an outdoor arena as well. Boarders can relax in the cozy lounge. In-house trainers in multiple disciplines offer their services to help you and your horse meet and exceed your performance goals. Hallie is responsive to the boarders and truly looks after our horses as if they were her own. Her horses receive the very same care given to the boarded ones. One afternoon my horse was acting a "little off" in the pasture, and she stayed with him until I could check on him. He turned out to be fine, but I rest easier knowing she and the staff are keeping a close eye when I can't be there. If I have a question or an issue, all I need to do is bring it up to Hallie or Assistant Manager Laura, and I get a prompt, pleasant, professional response. When an issue arises, Hallie and her staff respond immediately. The ranch is beautiful, but the health and happiness of the horses are the top priority. Speaking as an owner who requires full board, I firmly believe my horse would not be any safer, happier, or healthier anywhere else besides 4 Hearts. 4 Hearts is blessed with many long-term and newer boarders who are happy to call 4 Hearts their barn home. The ranch has a consistently high occupancy rate. If you are considering boarding your horse at 4 Hearts, do your research. Take the opportunity to visit with some of the good folk here. Talk to Hallie. More importantly, talk to your local vet. Talk to your farrier. They know the facility and the owner and can give you unbiased feedback. This is a full service horse boarding facility with a very nice group of employees and boarders. The facility puts on riding events and children's camps as well. Wyatt has a nice, indoor, stall with daily turnout into a nice pasture. They also have an awesome, half covered, arena which is open to boarders to use. She is very helpful, giving pointers whenever I need help and often rides with me in the mornings. I love training under her. Not only does she teach you how to ride but also why we ride the way we do and how it effects the horse. There has been many times over the years where I have been on my horse having a difficult time and she has patiently sat on the rail and coached me through it. She always makes sure that each rider and horse leave the arena on a good note. There are no short-cuts at her barn, everything we do is done the right way and the safe way.

So this is really more of a 2.5 stars. Not a bad place, all spots have 30A and 50A hookups as well…read moreas water and sewer. It is right off a highway so if road noise bothers you I'd look somewhere else. The interior roads are all gravel and the entry is a bit confusing at night. Be extra careful to not drag your wheels off the side either (Especially on the west...) because you'd be stuck for good. Most the people here seem like they are full timers so the number of transient spots is pretty limited but everyone was quiet and pretty much kept to themselves. It is an added bonus though if you are travelling with horses because they have accommodations for that for some extra cost. Several pull through spots as well as some that you have to back in to. Make sure and scout your area before unhooking. I saw the power/water utilities and assumed that was the hookup side. Turned out that the sewer was on the other side (Along with a dual water/electric hookup for the two spots there) and didn't realize it until I was unhooked, jacked and leveled. We just waited until we left to turn around and dump, but it would have been a hassle if we were there for much longer. We called the owner Thursday night to ask where to park and he got us set up just fine. Didn't meet him until Saturday but was a polite guy running a reasonably clean place that serves a niche market. He has another guy on site more or less full time for emergencies but prefers to handle most regular business himself. We'd probably stay here again since the road noise didn't bother us especially at $20/night, but if there was a place further back off the highway where we could let the kids play a little more we'd probably prefer that.

My 10 year old was on a horse named Pokey that was missing his left eye but cute as a button and super gentle and cautious with my son. My 6 year old got to ride on Foxy and was led on his horse since he is so young. I rode on Marley, and my sister had Diamond. We went through forest type setting where there were so many beautiful butterflies. Also there are parts that take you over other types of terrain. Certainly not boring at all. And Chris was so willing to answer any questions that we had. And super reassuring to my kids about how they were handling the horses and whatnot. My kids are saying they wish we could go there everyday if that tells you anything. We hope to try and make this a yearly "thing" because it really was about the best part of our little get away.

We made an appointment for 10:30 am and our trail leader greeted us warmly when we arrived . I had such a sweet horse named spicy peach ! I loved my horse . My boyfriend also had a sweet , calm , well trained horse . Our trail ride was so beautiful . Our trail leader was kind and funny and made the trail ride enjoyable and stress free . He was nice enough to take photos of us the entire time on my phone which I greatly appreciated . I would recommend going here to anyone I know !
