Studio 55 Salon Suites provides a spacious and inviting coffee lounge with Wi-Fi, TV, ice and complementary coffee, mochas, lattes, espresso, cappuccino, hot tea and chilled water. Each salon owner has a fully-equipped private studio with separate styling and shampoo stations. Studio finishes include 10 foot ceilings with 8 foot high glass french doors and side windows for optimum light and ambience. Each studio has individual heating and cooling controls. I have very curly hair that is hard to manage. Christine told me that she also has very curly hair. She reviewed various Aveda products with me and demonstrated on her own hair how to use one product with a flat iron. Can anything compare with perfect hair! Christine at Lucid Salon is the best hair color specialist who has ever worked on my hair, and I've been to quite a few. My hair was all different shades of outgrowth from years of trying to color it myself. She managed to take my hair from an embarrassing mess to a beautiful, conditioned, stunning color. With the selection of hair color tubes in front of her, she is like an artist with a palette, creating a color that will be uniquely yours that you will love. I'd had continuous unsuccessful experiences with trying to have my hair highlighted by several hair care professionals that I had given up ever finding anyone who could highlight and cover my gray. I'm relieved I finally found someone who I can trust to do a great job each and every time. She uses Aveda products, which are the best. All the Aveda products I tried so far work great; but, my favorite is Aveda's Be Curly product line. It is the ONLY product I have ever found that enables me to wear my naturally curly fine hair without frizz or fussing; and I think I've tried every product ever manufactured for curly hair. Absolutely no one is better, and I have tried many stylists during the eight years I have lived in the area. On top of being one of the loveliest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, Christine is all around gifted when it comes to cutting and coloring hair. In the past, I have gone in with pictures and ideas, which she has perfectly captured. Now, I merely put myself in her amazingly capable hands to do as she pleases and have not once been disappointed, I trust her completely as her taste is impeccable. Wow, where to begin! If I had the ability, let alone the nerve, to post a before and after pic of the magic that has happened at the hands of Christine at Lucid Salon, I think the photo's would say it all! I have been to Christine for a few "corrections" now from other colorists and stylists and I now refer to her "fondly" as the "Mad Scientist" of all colorists as she has created the most beautiful color and cut I've ever had! Christine is the BEST- She is an Aveda Master! I recently moved here from Florida and was going to the same stylist for years. I am extremely picky and went to an upscale top notch salon in Tampa. I had natural blonde hair when I was younger and now that I'm in my thirty's I need to highlight a bit. Christine does amazing work. Her technique is on point and takes the time to get to know you and what you want before she mixes any color. She made my hair brighter and it's a beautiful natural blonde. Even my previous stylist couldn't leave my hair this healthy. The products she uses adds alot of blonde, but my hair feels very healthy. She knows her stuff! Lucid Salon was a blessing for me. I just recently moved her from out of the country and in my home town it usually takes the stylists about 4 hours for a cut and color.
