Since then he restored and refinished our fancy standalone electric fireplace, which our dog had pretty much destroyed. He also repaired a vinyl fence that was falling apart due to high winds. Most recently we had him install a short fence around our new studio to create a private patio. Our next project will be to repair and install new vinyl fencing and gates to section off a finished area. There seems to be almost nothing Lamar doesn't know how to repair, install or replace. He is honest, hard working and finishes in a timely manner. When he quotes a job, he sticks by it and he is very affordable--especially for such high quality work. We hired George on Saturday evening to mount our 86" tv and he originally wanted to charge $150 but…read moreI asked to do it for $120 which he agreed to. When arriving he set up the tv mount but as he was mounting it in the wall it took 5 extra holes (making it 9 holes) to get it in the stud. But when he did the top screws were curved in and not centered. Not only that but the tv mount wasn't even leveled correctly. When George and his partner in crime were unboxing the tv all was fine until his partner clearly was struggling to carry the tv. That's when George pointed out the damaged tv on his partner side but they both blamed it on the people who delivered the tv and refused to take any responsibility constantly going back and forth with my wife about it which was really unprofessional. Like they're gonna tell me that they took it out the box and didn't know there was a large crack on the edges? No his partner had to point it out if it was clearly already there which makes this a horrible lie. On top of that George left afterwards leaving all these holes in the wall saying "I'll come back later to fix it when the new tv comes". I've been trying to contact him to patch the walls up and he said he'd be available Tuesday. But when the day comes he said he doesn't know when he'll be done with his current job and has yet to contact me back. Would not recommend George to anyone unless you want to be the next victim.
