4 calls over 4 days and we finally had an appointment. However, Luciano didn't show up. That's no way to treat your customers.

He met with us in March 2 years ago and he was supposed to start within a couple of weeks. No show. When he did show it was a full tractor trailer full of plants trees shrubs which was dumped on my lawn in the middle of a heat wave. He left and did not return for 2 weeks during which I spent 3 hours everyday watering to prevent them from dying. When he did show up it was for one or two days and then disappeared again. He way overbought and should never had everything dropped on my property and then split. We also had him install a split rail fence around the perimeter of our property and it was agreed that it would be purchased at Rings End. He lied and bought crap at Home Depot and was caught in a lie. He stated he measured 3 times but that too was a lie and installed it over the property line of my neighbor who freaked out then had the property surveyed. We made him remove the fence and refused to have him replace it. Every tree has died, the flowers planted died too. He took it upon himself to plant all the extra plants and called it a bonus bed, not asked for and not wanted. I could go on and on. We tried meeting with him several times to work things out. No Show No call every time. He offered a 2 year guarantee on everything but did not replace one thing and complained he had no money. I could go on and on but eventually we had no choice but to contact our lawyer to initiate a law suit. We believe this man is bi-polar and is manic or absent. Our relationship with our neighbor of 32 years is now adversarial, our property looks horrific and this guy who complains he has no money went on cruises and just couldn't care that everything he did died including some of our own trees and plants he moved. We are in the middle of a law suit and we have heard his own lawyer was seeking to withdraw from the case. We have extensive evidence of his maleficence and a judgement in our favor is a slam dunk. How they will get him to pay up is another problem which will require attaching liens to all his assets. If after reading this rather long and incomplete summary of the problems we had you choose to use him, you too may be posting something like this in the future.

I had already done business here and was actually preparing to come back for another large landscaping project. I was planning on purchasing approximately $30,000 worth of additional plants, trees, and landscaping materials. Unfortunately, after dealing directly with the owner, I have completely changed my mind and will be taking that business somewhere else. The biggest issue was the owner's attitude and lack of professionalism. He was extremely rude, dismissive, and offered very little useful direction or guidance. When someone comes into a nursery looking to make a substantial purchase, especially for a large project, you would expect the owner to have enough common sense to understand the importance of customer service. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I simply expected basic respect, reasonable communication, and some knowledgeable direction regarding the products I was looking to purchase. Instead, the experience made me feel as though my business wasn't wanted or appreciated. Running a successful business isn't only about having good plants and trees. It's also about how you treat the people who walk through your door. Customers have choices, and when someone is prepared to spend tens of thousands of dollars with your company, treating them rudely is a quick way to lose that business. There are plenty of reputable nurseries in Connecticut and the surrounding area that offer quality plants and trees and understand how to treat their customers professionally. I would much rather spend my money with a business that appreciates the opportunity and is willing to provide proper service and guidance. I was prepared to spend another $30,000 here, but after this experience, that money will be going to another nursery. Sometimes good customer service and basic respect are worth more than anything else a business can offer.
