We were surprised to find this anywhere other than SoHo so we went right in. Pies were getting made fresh which is always a great sign. We got the vodka, margherita and spinach slices and all were good but the best was definitely the vodka so get that if you're only gonna get 1 slice.

This pizza was shockingly not worth the price at all. I might have gone on an off day but it had no toppings at all, which is sad because the sauce is good and would've served as a good base for a normal amount of cheese. A bit confused why the stinginess when the slices are $5 for an extremely thin dough and one basil leaf. One of the most confusing dining experiences I've had in a while, which is not what you want when getting a slice in New York City.

Great pizza addition to the Gramercy neighborhood. Lucia offers regular and some fancy slices with a range of different options for vegetarians and those who want something more fun and complex will still enjoy enjoying a great New York slice. There's limited indoor seating available but still enough seats if you want your party want to hang for a little bit. Service is quick and friendly. The specialty slices are all worth at least one try especially the potato and onion.

A welcome addition to Gramercy, on the corner of Third and 22nd... their pizza has been on my radar for awhile... great display case, with signs for each pie. I had their plain, field pig, and potato onion. They finish all slices with pecorino and fresh basil. The Field Pig from Lucia and Fig Jam Bacon from L'Industrie are tied for my fave specialty slices in NYC (followed by potato from Slicehaus). Look forward to returning to Lucia, there are a lot of other options I want to taste. $3.50 plain, $5.99 all other slices, plus tax. Field Pig: smoked pancetta, roast corn, mozzarella, gruyere bechamel (Mike's Hot Honey optional, I didn't add it). Potato and Onion: sliced potatoes, red onion, mozzarella, and gruyere bechamel.

This place has completely fallen off since it first opened. The pizza was dry, salty and flavorless overall. The service was also terrible -the person taking orders didn't know basic menu prices and the other employee acted like the customers were an inconvenience. He clearly hated being there. I get that it's a casual pizzeria but the employees are unprofessional and rude. No reason to come back.

I'm so happy Lucia opened a location so close to me! Gramercy was in need of a great slice shop. This location is spacious and has a few tables inside as well as a dedicated section for delivery orders (but not yet open.) There is a large variety of pies and unique combinations. I ordered my go-tos this first visit, but plan to try all the different pies. I got the plain, pepperoni, fresh tomato and cream of spinach slices. They were all thin, crispy and full of flavor. You can tell they use high quality ingredients on the pies. I'm happy to have Lucia as my new neighborhood slice shop!

Field Pig- Roasted corn, smoked pancetta, gruyère, béchamel, chive, and olive oil. Fun new slice. $5.999 + tax like other specialty slices

Short review/side note- if you want a general, delicious, plain slice, go here. Also, the technical name of this spot should be "Lucia Pizza of Gramercy," following the same nomenclature as "of Ave X" and the "of Soho" locations, but whatever. This is one of the, as of this point, four locations of this excellent pizza place (there are almost enough places to call it a chain, but the quality is still too high, so I will let that slide for now.) In general, their plain/classic slice is excellent. It is reasonably priced for the quality at $3.50, and a nice middle ground between the more classic style at spots like Joe's or Luigi's and a more modern slice at L'Industrie or a handful of other places. I would say it's more towards the latter, as the crust is a bit crispier, and it's one of my favorite standard slices in the city. New to this location, as well as the UES location, is the Field Pig with roasted corn, smoked pancetta, gruyère béchamel, chive, and an olive oil finish. The price point is $5.99 + tax for any specialty slice (this includes white pizza, which is a bit odd,) while the plain slice, as mentioned before, is $3.50 + tax. They also appear to offer more square pies here. The slice was interesting, with a bit of saltiness, some sweetness and crunch from the corn, and a bit more richness than their typical slice, which was probably from the bechamel. I am happy that the bechamel wasn't too overpowering, as then it probably would have reminded me a bit too much of Artichoke Basille's, which I'm not that big a fan of. It was good, though I still prefer their plain and the standard mushroom from the original location on Avenue X. There also seemed to be more square pies here compared to their other locations. The original location of this place is closer to a 5, while the rest of their spots get closer to a four. The plain slice is still extremely good and worth waiting in line.

No line at Lucia's on a frigid winter Sunday evening while the line at Rolf's is half a block long; pretty obvious which would be the winner. Got a slice of the potato & onion (sliced potatoes, red onion, mozzarella and Gruyère Bechamel) and a slice of the Field Pig (smoked pancetta, roast corn, mozzarella, Gruyère Bechamel). Both were excellent. $5.99 per slice is treading the cusp of overpriced, but they're specialty slices, so the splurge can be justified. Love the new location, it's certainly got more standing and seating than the soho location. Surprised they have a whole section dedicated for delivery (not open as of writing), would be nice if they added more seating.

Our pizza was cold. It took 2 hours for it to get delivered and this is how it was handed to us.

Have been dying for this spot to open and it's finally here! They just opened and have had a line pretty much since (even in the rain). I tried the cheese slice and am obsesses with the sweetness of the sauce. Need to come back to try the vodka and some of the other specialty slices. Plenty of seating inside or you can do takeaway.

honestly disappointing given how hyped up it was. got the mushroom, spinach, and spicy pepperoni. the spicy one was the best but overall most were dry and the toppings were not that flavorful. sadly a miss for me.

Very very average. Not greasy, which is a plus. But the dough and sauce are very flavorless.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.
