Worst boots I've ever owned, and worst customer service to go with them. Nothing but problems with my boots so contacting the company should fix that right? No, they don't care and only instructed me that I could pay to have them "repaired". They were horrible quality. I've had $100.00 Dan post last longer with no issues. read more

I have worn boots for 40 years but never had a pair of Lucchese... A year ago I bought a pair of black Lucchese Caiman Hornback Tail boots. They were expensive at $800 but absolutely beautiful boots. Extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, the sole of the shoe was obviously very thin. I wear them maybe 3 times a month and the soles are worn through already. You would think for the kind of money I paid they would last more than a year with limited use. Very disappointing. I would not recommend their high-end boots. read more

I was looking for a pair of boots for a wedding in October, living in NYC there are not many boot stores. I knew I wanted Lucchese's. I went online and fell in love with the Nicole boot. When I went to checkout it said they wouldn't ship until November. I called Mommy Dearest who lives in San Antonio and she went in to the Lucchese store on Basse on a Saturday. They told her that the shoes were in El Paso and they could have them shipped to me in NYC in three days. I couldn't wait to start wearing my cowboy boots around NYC and break them in for the wedding. To my dismay, I received a call from Michelle on Monday indicating that they did not have the pair in the El Paso store or their warehouse. They could get them to me but the soonest shipping date was November. I was crushed. I was upset because they had told my mom they were in El Paso and they and already charged her credit card (hence the only 4 stars) I told them I would think about whether I wanted to wait until November. Michelle and another gentleman I spoke with were extremely pleasant and apologetic. I decided I still wanted them and would wait until November, I called back later that Monday and notified the gentleman of the same, he said they would try to rush them for the wedding but he couldn't make any promises. I received a message from Michelle on Thursday and called her back the following Monday. Michelle notified me that the warehouse found the last paid in my size (6) and they would be in NYC by Tuesday and she provided me with the FED Ex tracking number. I received my boots and they are beautiful and comfortable! Thank you Lucchese for coming through in the end! read more

After 3 months of back and forth my husband has received the replacement boots he was expecting from Lucchese in January. The quality on our replacement pair seems good but after 3 months of negotiations and struggling these boots have unfortunately lost their luster. My last review on Lucchese got deleted so I'm not sure how long this one will stay up but I appreciate the final resolution and the fact that this product is made in the U.S. our later interactions with the company were respectful and it was apparent that they were trying to help solve the problem. I wouldn't recommend these boots but I am hoping our experience was an outlier. read more

August 20th was a memorable day for me because I purchased my first pair of cowboy boots! I always imagined this day to be a great experience and Jacob at Lucchese San Antonio absolutely made this an incredible experience from start to finish. Jacob was personable, passionate, and so respectful. My experience started out with an educated overview of Lucchese and then tailored into what I like and what I was looking for. Jacob was knowledgeable about the boots and styles, the feeling of the fit, the expectation for the comfort, among many more things. Jacob made me feel so comfortable with my experience and trying different boots on and making sure what I was trying on was perfect for me. Jacob did a phenomenal job as a salesperson of matching my energy, tone, and excitement and it truly helped to make this such a success. As you can imagine, I ended up buying my first pair of boots and I couldn't be happier with my boots but also my experience. I know that I will be back for a pair of black boots and wouldn't want to experience this again without Jacob's service and experience. Thank you Jacob for your amazing service and helping me purchase my first pair of boots, can't wait to stop back in again! read more

Great service and hospitality! Although the boots that I wanted were far from reach of what I could afford(ne where from $1,000 and up) the salesman did not make me feel uncomfortable at all! He graciously offered his assistance. With that said if I could splurge like That, this place would def get my business hands down! read more

It's unfortunate that I have to leave a negative review. I hope the company provides me an adequate resolution to the issue I am experiencing. I ordered a pair of boots. They were shipped via FedEx signature required. The boots were not delivered on the expected day per the tracking info. The following day I received a delivery notification but the package did not arrive. I checked with neighbors to see if the package was left with someone but it was not. I contacted FedEx and was told to wait 48 hours. I waited three days and contacted them again. They told me to contact the shipper Lucchese. I contacted Lucchese and was told they would take care of it and get back to me. That was 10 days ago. I contacted them again today and was put on hold for 30 mins and disconnected. I called back and was told after another 15 mins that there was no update and it could take another 10-14 days. At this point I requested a refund. I was then emailed and told Lucchese just filed a lost package claim and I would hear back in 10-14 days. I don't care how good the boots are the customer service for the e-commerce business is awful. Zero communication from them. Never have I been run around so badly by a retailer. I wouldn't expect this from any retailer but this is a company that sells high end products. You would expect to be treated better. At the end of the day it doesn't matter how great the product is you make if you can't get it to the customer. The right thing to do would have been to offer to send me another pair of boots overnight and work it out with FedEx on their end. Or offer me an immediate refund pending FedEx's investigation. They have my CC info right? Making me wait 24 days with no product and money is unreasonable. read more

First stop for any of our visitors to San Antonio from out of State. Stacy and Robert provide over the top customer care. They make certain you will leave with the "right" pair of Lucchese boots. Stacy and Robert will answer any and every question until the cows come home and never run out of patience. Customers are treated to outstanding service by a product educated staff who are willing to go that extra mile to exceed expectation. John Wayne, along with thousands of other Lucchese customers, receive "star" treatment. If you haven't been to the store, go see it. You will be visiting boot history and a part of San Antonio's too. read more

As a boy in San Antonio, I grew up wearing Tony Lamas, but that was only until I could afford my first Luccheses. Now I shop at Sheplers in Mesa, AZ and only buy Luccheses. There is no other boot like it. I recently visited the San Antonio store, but they were so busy I did not buy anything. Now I plan to go back there, and allocate half a day just have the time to purchase a pair. read more

This post is not about Lucchese boots. They are great. This post is about the store. I purchased boots here and was originally happy with the customer service. When I got home, I noted that the boots which I had purchased were less expensive on the lucchese web site!! The same exact boots! Why is this store selling boots for more money than their own web site? When confronted with this fact, the salesperson said that he didn't realize the price difference! Really? The lucchese store does not know the prices of their boots on their own company website? I definitely feel that this store was dishonest with me and is trying to take advantage of customers. I would avoid this store as they are upcharging compared to the company website. Obviously, I returned the boots and will not shop there again. read more

I own several pairs of Lucchese boots, I bought all of them online at Allens Boot company. I wanted to see what the company store had to offer. They had a pretty decent collection but very few boot with the #3 heel or the walking heel I was looking for. The store was packed with customers, the staff were trying the best, when you drop $1000 on a boot you should expect a little more in terms of service, which I think is missing because they are understaffed. Most customers (including myself) tried on a few boots and left without making any purchase. There was one customer who walked in saying "I am probably going to walk out with a pair of boots". I am not saying I did not have a good experience here, but I expected a lot more in terms of selection and stock, they wanted me to place the order at an extra cost for the customization I was looking for, but I think I can find what I am looking for online for less than what the store wants to charge. I am a huge fan of Lucchese so I wanted to visit their store to see what it look like. Honestly I was not there to make a purchase. read more

My experience at Lucchese was not at all what I expected, to say the least. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a young man named Hunter. He was very courteous and knowledgable about boots, but seemed to look a bit a sluggish. After a couple minutes with this young man, we could smell a stench of marijuana. We also noticed his eyes seemed very glossy. We continued to look around the store but my husband was so appalled by the whole situation we decided to leave. My husband is retired military and expected so much more professionalism from such a high end establishment. read more

This is the third time I have ordered custom made boots from Lucchese, the first 2 times from 2 different stores in Santa Fe, New Mexico and the third time from this store in San Antonio, Texas. The ones I ordered from Santa Fe arrived within 4 weeks and were in perfect condition. When I ordered from the SA office, I wanted to give this pair of boots to my wife for mothers day, which was 6 weeks away, they said they would do everything they could to have them ready. A few days before mothers day I got a call from the store telling me that they had done the wrong stitching on the boot so they had to re-do them and unfortunately wouldn't be ready by the day I wanted them. My wife had a family reunion out of town after mothers day so I asked to please have the boots ready so she can at least take them with her, they said they would be here by then. Well today I got a call from the store telling me they received the boots but that unfortunately they had made the wrong boot for my wife. They even sent me pictures of them to see if my wife would be willing to settle for those boots. They looked nothing like the ones we ordered. When you spend close to $1,300 for a pair of boots, you expect better service and more professional sales people. This was the first and last time I buy anything from that store. I wish I could have given them a 0 instead of a 1 rating. read more

Ordered pair of books on Nov. 15,2012---boots came in with the straps all cut up just prior to Christmas Contacted El Paso and they send a box by Fed-Ex to be picked up. About 3 weeks late they were returned. Wore them 3 days and the finish began to peel off (Black Cherry Ropers). Contacted El Paso and again they sent box to ship back. About 3 weeks received another pair of boots but they send a size "D" and I wear a size "B". Three weeks later got the correct size but there were blemishes all over the boots. Contatced En Paso again and they sent anther box for return. All this time I was talking to various employees of Lucchese in their Customer Relations. They were all very nice and concered about the defective boots they were sending. Every time I asked about Quality Control I never got am answer. Finally on March 10 shipped the final pair with no defectives (Well, havent been wearing that much-hope they dont fall apart). I wrote Lucchese,s CEO and 3 others in Management telling them the problem I had with their boots. This had been 3 weeks ago and still havent received an answer. I was told by several boot vendors that I wouldnt receive an answer. Im sorry for Lucchese as I though they were the "Cadillac" of boots. read more
