THIS is NOT your Mariachi group!!! Please do NOT waste your time, your hiring or your deposit-look…read moreelsewhere!!! This group is a NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO TEXT...simply LACK-TO-NO COMMUNICATION!!! I wished I would have taken action and went elsewhere from the very beginning of contacting them via FB messenger on availability for my event date/time. It took several days to get a response. Once getting a reply from "Marlo" stating my date and time was available as well as, the cost of their rental rate, deposit amount and date due, I began asking questions such as how many members were in their group, which she replied with 4. I then told her I'd like to proceed with booking. She then asked if I could send over the address of the venue, which I did instantly. 3 days later, I asked her where to send my deposit. That was it- no reply back that same day nor the next day or the next and so on. So, I decided to locate their main contact number. After trying several times throughout the day (leaving voicemails), it became attempts on the daily. I took back to messaging 8 days later via messenger asking where to send my deposit. Still nothing...I went back to calling by phone- nothing. Finally, it would be the next day that "Marlo" answers my phone call. I told her who I was, gave all my event details and told her we'd been communicating via FB messenger. She definitely did not remember (being just within the last week if that) nor did she remember my event details. I had to explain it all over again. She then asked me to hold on the line (took several minutes) while she noted my event details in her "book". When she finally came back on the phone, she said we were good and to send my $100 deposit over, which I told her that was the whole point of my phone call bc I never heard back from her via messenger. Once we hung up, she texted me her Venmo info which I immediately sent over my $100 deposit. Again, never got confirmation nor heard from her thereafter. After receiving confirmation from her via messenger and over phone call that "we were good" and that I was booked for my event, I proceeded with printing of my invitations noting of "Mariachis 6:30p-7:30p" to my party guests. My event day has arrived, what should have been the timeframe for the performance of Mariachis- NO WHERE IN SIGHT!!! We allowed a few minutes for their arrival (giving benefit of the doubt due to traffic, running late etc) STILL NO SHOW!!! My guests began to question and look with a loss of confusion with handful asking me, "where are the Marichis". Talk about a complete embarrassment, not knowing what to tell my guests of 130+ or most importantly, my son being the guest of honor!!! Between my husband, my daughter and myself, we began texting/calling/left numerous voicemails. NOTHING!! Finally, 1 1/2 hours later, I get a text message from "Marlo" apologizing for not answering, being that they were at a funeral. She then goes on to say that they didn't have me down in their books. I was in complete devastation!!! I didn't respond back, knowing that they weren't obviously showing up and that we were let down big time!! We would have no mariachis- ones that were contracted out, hired and paid for (remainder payment was due upon their arrival). I contacted Marlo the next day sending her all my screenshots of our communications, my Venmo $100 deposit transaction as well as, our phone call log and told her that I clearly do not know how the hell she didn't have me in their booking. But like she told me in her apology reply, 'unfortunately the time has passed'. Yeah, unfortunately and sadly, the celebration of my son's college achievements and accomplishments has now passed- without his enjoyment of his favorite tunes and performance of what should have been, "Mariachis". *** PLEASE, SAVE YOURSELF THIS DEVASTATING SITUATION OF A NIGHTMARE and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR MORE IMPORTANTLY YOUR EVENT on this group, MARIACHI CORAZON DE TEJAS!!!

I was a little concerned with only four members, I shouldn't have been. They were amazing, great musicians, great vocals, I will use them for our next event.

Speakeasy is kind of a maze, so I couldn't see them at first, but I could tell after just a few bars that this was no recording. The music, lighting, and photobooth were all fantastic and kept everyone engaged and having fun. Beyond the day itself, Greg was incredibly easy to work with and always quick to respond and proactive throughout the entire planning process, which is invaluable when planning a wedding. We truly appreciate how smooth and stress-free he made everything.

From thoughtful planning to quick communication to flawless execution (music, lighting, photobooth), we couldn't have asked for a better partner. Greg was on point with every song selected - not to mention he's a wonderful MC. We came to Greg with a vision for our wedding reception - once the dance floor opened, we wanted our reception to be a real PARTY. We wanted every song to be a "banger." We wanted everyone on the dancefloor until the lights turned back on. As inspiration, I shared an 11 hour playlist with Greg; the playlist spanned decades of music and covered multiple genres. Greg's expertise is unparalleled, and somehow he interpreted this messy mind dump of songs and delivered a set list that was beyond anything we could have imagined. And, I want to be clear, this wasn't a copy / paste job. It didn't feel like the standard wedding mix. Greg mixed in his magic and developed a curated list of songs that kept our guests on the dancefloor for 3 hours straight. Each song was better than the last. It was amazing!!! Greg also helped us navigate the music and vibes for the cocktail hour and dinner period. We hadn't put much consideration into this aspect of planning. We very much appreciated his advice. The music created a welcoming and fun ambiance for us and our guests. I'd also recommend hiring a saxophonist (Greg can source!). We had the sax player during cocktail hour and dinner and our guests loved that touch. In summary, Greg & team were INCREDIBLE and exceeded expectations across the board

He was more interested in what we wanted to be played at the wedding than what he had on his list of songs he knew. Sure, his list is impressive and we certainly picked some songs from it, but we wanted a bit more flair. How much flair? A significant amount. Aaron's majestic guitar-strumming skills made the heroic journey from the classical "Canon in D" to the bows of "Head Over Heals" by Tears for Fears before capping the ceremony with that upbeat pop masterpiece by Hall & Oates, "You Make My Dreams Come True". Yes, Aaron did all that just for the ceremony. That folks is commitment to the cause, the occasion and being awesome. Needless to say, when the drinks started to flow during the cocktail hour Aaron knew exactly how to entertain. Not being one to shy away from being the ultimate human mix tape, Aaron pleased our guests with some Juanes, Shakira and other lively tunes. Brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, cousins, friends and wandering nomads alike enjoyed the music, and it laid the foundation for a joy-driven, alcohol-laden and Elaine Benes-dancing night of fun. Bottom line, Aaron is as good as it gets.
